It is. But people kept asking for a DLC regarding tracking down Morrigan, so here it is.

Just because people wanted it does not mean that is the reason it exists. I highly doubt David Gaider and his staff of writers would change the entire storyline of Dragon Age for fanservice.

I don't want this to get any more off-topic, so we can continue this chat through PM. Check your PM box.

Okay that was the single most enjoyable DLC I have ever experienced in my life. Liara is back and more beautiful as ever. Her character is now fixed in my eyes. She is wonderful!

BioWare you have outdone yourselves with this one!!! THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!

That just made my life... some people say, made my day or made my week... This has made my life!!!

Agreed, but there've been other threads active in your absence. :D

LotSB is pretty officially Bioware's best ME DLC.

Loved Shadow Broker Bioware!! The DLC keeps getting better and better, its the small but noticible changes that made it for me and Im starting to think that ME2 now feels like a fully rounded and developed project... BUT THAT DOESNT MEAN STOP!!! I want my Ash back next.

I know, right? Vanilla ME2 is starting to feel like Vanilla Oblivion after all this DLC.

Thank you BioWare, and a special thanks to Chris Hepler, Jay Watamaniuk, Patrick Weekes, and Sylvia Feketekuty for the superb writing in Lair of the Shadow Broker. Shepard may get all the credit, but you saved Liara T'Soni.

lol so true. By the end of the DLC (and possible expansion type content in the run up to ME3's release), we'll have the 'recruit/loyalty/suicide mission' section, and the 'OMG SO MUCH EPIC' section :P

I've only just started playing LotSB with my first Shep, and I'll have to continue after work. But I'll say thanks a lot, anyway!

Thankyou thankyou thankyou thankyou!!!!!!! ^__________^

A bit of criticism, since this is only a second page for some reason :? and there's a chance someone will read it.

Wasir. For a Spectre, she was a bit... flat (yeah). And I don't mean the chest area. The final dialogue gave her some depth, but I kinda felt like she could be made less clear-cut from the start. Granted, she didn't get a whole lot of screen time to get a lot of development, but still...

Hostage. I'd prefer if the renegade option cost you medi-gel. As it is now, I'm not sure what the penalty is, but I hope it isn't an email from her son saying "my mommy lost an arm because of you!"

Dialogue... I mean, the dialogue itself was beyond awesome. Mad props to H+H voice acting btw! :) And the banter!!! ^___________^ But. I kinda hate when critical dialogue gets put in between a tedious boss fight and the next level loading screen. It's not much fun pondering whether saying "you haven't been the same" will lock you out of an opportunity to mention the romance, it kinda pulls you out of suspension into thinking about metagaming.

But again, the DLC was still made of win. It felt kinda short, but then so would a ten hour DLC when Liara is involved... and then there's tons of "bonus content"!

Thank you!

Thanks for this labour of love, Bioware. The banter between Shep and Liara was great! Nice environment, boss fights and pacing of the story. The post main story stuff is a really nice touch.

The mention of Omni-gel in-game... LOL!

And many, many thanks for making Liara look soooo much better in this DLC than the odd looking one in Illium.

Thank you for allowing my Shepard to reconnect with Liara, I will be forever thankful. It was certainly the most enjoyable DLC i have experienced so far, and more then exceeded my expectations.

(b^ ^)b Thumbs up for Bioware on this one!

I hope Bioware realized from all the positive reactions that the social connections Shep establishes throughout the trilogy are as vital and essential as the fights he has to go through. You are on the right path, Biowarians, so please give us more of this!

Thanks for this moving and inspiring adventure!

WARNING. EPIC AMOUNT OF SPOILERS IN POST

Best. DLC. Ever.

Here's why...

1. Liara was fixed. In ME1 she was a fairly useful character though didn't seem to have much "character" if you know what I mean. She rarely showed her true emotions and seemed a bit like "that scientist." But in this DLC she proved she was more than just a random archeologist and showed the side of her that was a ruthless information broker with a soft side.
And also she was definately improved appearance wise, she looked alot more detailed and her eyes...my god I could stare into those eyes for even longer than I could listen to Xen's voice. They are freaking beautiful. I'm not a Liara fan but still...by god the eyes...

2. Shepard was fixed. Suprised nobody noticed Mark Meer's snapped into line and has actually started voice-acting quite well. He had some brilliant dialogue and banter with Liara about the mako, trucks, Omni-gel (made my day) and various other things. It was all great fun.
I haven't done it with femshep yet though.

3. Introduction of a taxi chase. Sure it was short and rather annoying but I could see this becoming a major gameplay element in later DLC. Maybe even an armed car?

4. Spectres. Heck, that Asari Spectre in my opinion was one of the few awesome asari in the game (Aria, New Liara and Matriarch Atheyna [sp?] are the only ones) until she decided to betray us all.

5. Relation to Mass Effect: Redemption. I never bought it but I know that hundreds of fans cried in happiness upon hearing Feron was in.

6. Liara becoming the Broker. You do know what this means right? Liara is on par with organisations like Cerberus when it comes to power now. Which brings me to my next point...

7. Dossiers. Not that i'm a cerberus hater but i'm happy it heavily hinted on Liara plotting against them, I still don't trust them.
And Garrus has a depressing-ass life. Seriously, a terminally ill mother and a sister he can't bare to show his face to? Definately adds depth to his character.
And Legion's gaming History, lol.

9. Videos. Some of these were very hintful. It showed Anderson speaking with a cerberus operative.
And lol at epic reporter krogan punch.

10. Catching up.

11. Animation and textures seem slightly improved.

I only have three problems.

1. They invented a completely different species to accomadate the Shadow Broker. That felt rather pointless and deus ex machina to me.

2. Liara had no reaction to Tali and/or Garrus.

3. Shadow Broker was "zomg evils!" I like the way it turned out but I was expecting the SB to be a neutral force.

The Blueberry had her revenge allright :D The banter was taken to epic levels of entertainment and made me have to pause the game on occasion to laugh ("Does this thing have any guns!?" "It's a taxi! It's got a meter!") xD The love progression was all i had hoped for, truly grade A writing.Made me feel all warm and fuzzy and i feel it made up for being left out in the cold from the games release. No loyalist should miss the last paragon interrupt, so look alive during the ending cutscene!

By the way, is azure to be considered a dirty word on the forums now? ;)

The one during the conversation with Liara after you've killed the shadowbroker. After the dialogue-wheel hug.It comes&goes pretty quick and i actually had to reload and kill the ugly bastard again (Not that i minded it, missile launcher ftw)
