so I jsut finished a me1 playthrough with my newest Shep I plan to import. My team was Liara and Tali. I'd gotten Tali's ally achievement and I wanted to hear Liara fan girl over Ilos. I talked to tali after speaking with Vigil and she said that the Quarians once tried to find Ilos to colonize the world but failed to find the Mu relay. Can you imagine if she'd gone back to the Flotilla with the Geth data and the Coordinates to Ilos and when Shepard was resurrected the new Quarian homeworld was Ilos?Image IPB

It also creeped the hell out of her, so I can see why she didn't tell them.

I don't think I ever took Tali to Ilos, so I never heard her mention the quarians seeking it out for colonization. That's interesting. However, from the in-game description, doesn't look like Ilos is much a candidate for colonization. Wouldn't be easy at all.

I wonder why they would even consider Ilos.

Ilos has a bit of a legendary reputation within the setting. It gets romanticized by academics and stuff. Since no one's ever actually been there and knowledge of it is through second hand sources, the picture they get of it would have been very different to reality.

Interesting find. I think I will keep an eye out for this on my next ME1 play through.
