My module Fallen House Celofraie is up on the  vault.  I started this module about 3 years ago and its a relief to finally have it  done. Had about 2 years in between when I had a hiatus from buiding. This summer I got back into the module since it would have been a waste to have spend so much time and not release it. Here are some screenshots of the module and a link to the vault is below.

It is a medium scope module about 6-8 hours gameplay, pretty linear but there are multiple possiblities with most of the quests. More information on the vault.

Awesome news! The visuals alone have me interested.

Also, by the by, I see my Cthulhu cave texture is there. Always nice to see stuff being used. ^_^

Looks great but... Why do modders insist on making interiors so freaking dark? I understand it makes light sources useful, but all these dark mods are killing my eyesight.

Thanks Shagret, your cthulhu cave texture was a great help with livening up some of the interiors.

The module is dark because it takes place in the Underdark but I agree that there are number of modules that were pretty dark themed. I started the module 3 years ago when there were not as many. I really enjoy messing with the light options, if I ever get around to making another mod I had planned to make it much brighter for a change of pace.

Anyone know how long it usually takes to hear back from beyond the pale and get ftp access to upload large files to the Vault? It hasn't been that long but I really want to completely release the module.

It normally doesnt take long to hear back. But today is a holiday (at least in America, don't know where you are), so the admins may not be looking.

Dark is good! In my campaign everywhere underground is dark by default, and some areas are pitch black everywhere unless the pc has light sources (It is quite bright aboveground though). Gilrad will hate me

Its not that I don't like dark interiors, I don't like how I can't continue my adventure during a bright day (high ambient light, even through curtains, completely destroys the playability of dark interiors), and as I mentioned, I can't play for more than five minutes with my eyes four inches from my screen.

Aesthetically they're great. But not very practical.

In those cases, Gilrad, go into the game graphics options and crank up the Gamma to where you can manage it. Or do like I do and just throw a heavy blanket over your head and the monitor and pretend you're up late reading and hope your parents don't catch you up. :)

I'm kidding, my parents don't live with me and blankets are way too hot to do that here in Texas, 'scept for maybe about 6 weeks or so out of the whole year.

And as far as screenies, go, my experience is that most shots show up physically 'darker' than when they are taken. I've seen this with doing a lot of e-bay photos for my wife and my own screenshots of the toolset during building. So I tend to adjust for this by making the area brighter than I normally would for screen shots. It's just a few shades of brightness higher, but it makes a huge difference.

I haven't heard from the Vault yet about uploading the hak and music file for the module so I decided to put up a link to another site where it can be downloaded in the module download description. I'll erase the link when I hear from the vault. Here is a link to the module page on the vault.

Gilrad I would like to introduce you to a highly advanced secret weapon called the light cantrip. You should be thanking people for giving an otherwise useless spell rank a purpose.

Eg, he means actual RW light that makes it hard for him to see the screen, which is compounded by dark interiors, which are already somewhat hard to see on the screen itself.

I updated the module today to fix some issues that a voter mentioned, on the lighting front I made some light rings for the module in different colors that I think do a good job of being an alternative to a torch or light spell.

Well the gamma option it is then. It is definitely  not the authors job to account for individual household lighting.

I  think this module has great possibilities and will try it out this weekend along with Dorateens.

I will have to give this module a try, I love dark places where Lght spells, Dark vision, and Torches have a purpose.

Let me know what you think Hellfire, your deep chasms tiles were a big help with several of the cave areas. One thing that is tempting me back to building is to use your dark ruins and deep halls tilesets.

This is a great module. The atmosphere is excellent and the plot quite interesting. The music was a great fit. A wide variety of interesting custom items add to the detail. Multiple endings that feel logical.

I've emailed Chalupa Del Diablo a list of the bugs I found, but nothing more serious than typos, a journal that didn't close, or a custom item with a missing inventory icon and the like. I suspect they will be quickly fixed.

Everyone should play it. Especially if you want a feel for the Underdark.

Also, darkvision ftw!

Thanks a lot for your vote on the vault and recommendation of the module Kamalpoe. The list of fixes you sent will be a big help with getting the module bug free.
