I know I do but maybe he'll just dismiss that claim. :crying:

Honestly, I wanted to punch Jacob more than anything during the debriefing after Thane's recruitment mission.

If he still doesn't acknowledge the Reapers' existence even with post-suicide-mission evidence, then I want my Shep to be able to kidnap him and force him to come on every mission and see everything she sees. I actually don't care if he still refuses to acknowledge the Reapers after that. Admitting his mistake or maintaining it would be awesome, just in different ways. I just want my Shep to be able to go to the very limit of what it's possible to do in her efforts to show him the truth.

My Shep is pretty much pure Paragon - she has a sprinkling of Renegade, but it's debatable as to whether this is enough to make her a Paragade.  This would be the most Renegade thing she would ever do.  And it would be worth it.

It would be nice, but I'd be too busy trying to stop the Reapers to care about the Turian Councilor.

Can't think of anyone from ME I'd like to punch. In one way or another, they all endear themselves to me or they get their comeuppance in another way. Can't think of anyone terribly annoying that they don't let you take care of. Jacob isn't that bad. Kind of wanted to punch Jack in the beginning but she turned herself around more-or-less.

Nope, he was doing his job. News of the reapers and what they can do would cause panic. Panic causes riots. Riots cause chaos. Chaos leads to anarchy and anarchy means that when the reapers do show up, no one is focused enough to do their jobs.

I hope that when I bring the Harbinger data, the Prothean/Collector DNA comparative analysis and the body of Paul Grayson to the attention of the Council that they'll finally man up and admit I was right, in a bigger way.

After all, the only reason your story was swept under the carpet was because you died. You weren't there to get the word out and some of the only people who heard it at all were the Council. It didn't pass through Alliance channels, the only people who heard of it were the Council, Anderson and a few very high ranking groups. Ergo, they could keep it quiet. Now you've got(potentially) Quarians, Rachni, Geth and Krogans all willing to back up the truth of the Reapers, the Council won't be able to ignore you.

I'd rather see him publicly shamed.

Much worse for a political figure than a punch.

I prefer poetic justice to violence.

I want him to come crawling back to me for help, at which time I will airquote at him and say, "Ah yes, 'turians'."

No... he's just doing his job. You work for Ceberus. Do you think he trusts you enough to say if he believes in the Reapers or not?

In the end he is performing his function. Every political group, every faction, every community needs it's own D-Bag.

"Just doing his job", pfft.

He's not a jackass because he wouldn't believe Shepard about the Reapers. He's a jackass because he did it derisively, condescendingly, and scathingly, when he simply did not need to.

Udina:"Have you ever heard of the words political **** storm!!!"

I'll choose justice over a chain of events following violence with the turian councilor.

Remind me not to go near your Shepard... apparently he likes to punch people if they don't talk to him nicely.

Oh, that list is loooong:

Jacob for his Debrief with Thane.

Miranda for the Debrief with Jack

Miranda for her inappropriate attitude towards Jack in that one "discussion"

Zaeed for his Vendetta before Victims

Harbinger for each and everytime he ASSUMING DIRECT CONTROL

Wrex for not joining me in my fight (buddy punch though)

But to answer your original question:

I want to puch the Turian Councellor for every stupid comment he ever made, which up to now cumulates to a total of at least 4, rageful fists to the face, Vanguard Style!

Agreed. As a leader of trillions of lives, you can't just yell around spreading the cruel truth about the reality to everyone. Some things must be done quietly and must be kept from the general public to avoid the destabilization of society. I study International Relations on college and this item is a very important one. For that one reason, I pretty much understand the Council's position.

That doesn't mean he's got to be an ass! That's what he deserves one punch at minimum for!

Corrected Grammatical structure.
