Apparently Janni-in-VA said he couldn't answer this question without spoilers. I don't think thats true but anyway.

No matter how many times I reload from before receiving the quest when I pick up the supplies the quest never updates. Any ideas

You don't make a potion for that side quest near as I can tell. I'm talking about the first side-quest in Awakening. "A medical necessity"

Not the dwarven regicide potion quest in origins.

If I have to give you specific game info, it counts as a spoiler.  Actually, there's no potion involved.  In order to complete the quest, you have to return the medical supplies you've picked up to the quest giver.  Just go back across the entryway and speak to him again.  All will then be good.  (And just so you know, I'm a "she."  )

*sigh* the quest never updates that I picked up the medical supplies, they'll be in my inventory under plot items, but no update is given[and the arrow is still on the crate]. Then when I try and deliver them, nothing happens, I can't talk to him or anything.

i know this is old, but its happend to me as well the quest wont update, never had the problem before today. is it posible to namualy update it by using gff editor ?

That loot & gamebalance mod messed alot of side quests for me, this is old but a heads up for anyone with that mod.
