So will we be seeing the Adept upgrade any time soon?

The cooldown is NOT 12 seconds, it's 6 for Shepard. Not that bad for a 12 sec duration power.

BTW: You can respec teammates in LotSB. It's awesome :)

On anything else, Heavy Singularity seems to do the same job, just with less duration (but equally with less cooldown, does damage and and ragdolls them if they take too much abuse).

1.5 seconds difference, BEFORE upgrades. Good thing is also that you have both, meaning you can lock down two enemies at the same time.

The cooldown is 6 seconds for a power that shuts down enemies through defenses?

That is awesome.

Yeah it's 12 seconds for Liara though.

Well, 6 seconds makes it a whole different beast then. Should offer some nice tactical gameplay for Adept.

Yup 6 seconds for Shep. Also it doesn't just 'put them in stasis' it puts a sphere of biotic shielding around them. I think thats what deflects the bullets (may deflect powers to, haven't tested). Anyways reason im saying this is you might also be able to use said stasised person as a make-shift SHIELD. Or wall... think about it. take out the damn Heavy with stasis then dance around em as they block bullets. Or take out the mini-boss mob in a pack with it, deal with the underlings with out having to worry.

I can see that power working wonders for just about any char. Even my favorite, Vanguard, could make some good use of it. stasis 1 dude for 12 seconds in a proper location, charge behind him, blocks fire while you shotgun.

Ah I see it says 12 seconds on the wiki. Probably just took that from Liara's version.

I don't remember actually being told I got the bonus power at any point, but it's there alright :)

Interesting theory about it blocking bullets, I didn't realize that it might. If true it would be awesome. I need to spend some time testing.

I don't have the game running atm, but I'm pretty sure it was 6 before upgrades. I mean cooldown, not duration.

Has anyone tested it out on Harby yet?

If singularity and flashbang trivialize home why would stasis?

Singularity lockdown forces you to concentrate on him exclusively. The longer stasis times suggest you can fire and forget (e.g. take out drones).

Haven't tried it yet. I would be very surprised if it worked against a shielded YMIR but not Harby.

I have to say being able to lockdown an enemy regardless of defenses... that's a tempting ability for any character where I can justify using biotics. Enemy Krogan, Vanguard, Engineer, etc? Lockdown! Six seconds on Shepard? That's pretty awesome. If you could use it as a makeshift shield that'd be incredible, if difficult to manage... I wonder if that'd work.

Well it's good, but it's nothing we haven't seen. Singularity, Drone and Flashbang work through defenses, though Stasis is probably the most reliable of them.

Those 6 seconds will be a lot closer to 3-4 when you max your passive and get the CD upgrade. Stasis could spice up any Adept playthrough. Too bad PC version is still not available.

Yeah what's up with the PC version? Glad I'm on the xbox but still.

Anyway LotSB is IMO the best DLC for ME2, so you have something to look forward to I think.

I am going to be replaying it on insanity, think it will be some of the most challenging in the game. That's my theory anyway.

I've only played through the game once on insanity, as an Infiltrator, I loaded up the pre-IFF save I made for new DLC and went right into it on insanity. Did just fine, so I'm either decent (at least as an Infiltrator), or it's well balanced.

That witch hunt DLC is looking better already. At least it works. I'll make my decision tomorrow.

Ah well it was a pure guess. It was very easy on normal, but there was one fight I thought might be very challenging on insanity.

I wanted to see it how it was intended. But I kind of regret it. Normal is just too easy.

6 seconds changes things considerably. You could have an enemy in Stasis and throw out Singularity a few seconds later to have two enemies on lockdown.

Hell at 6 seconds... That's a tasty 1pt bonus power for any class.

A buff was never explicitly mentioned, right? My guess is that Christina wanted to make use of Pull in a situation similar to the end of Mass Effect 1. If you've played the DLC, you'll know what I'm talking about. The lightning is hilarious.

I'm assuming you can't detonate stasis but has anyone tried?

I did a little testing myself. You can't even target the person in Stasis, and even when I launched a Warp at it, it didn't explode.

She did not use the word buff but the concept was there.

""You want us to make the adept more powerful in ME3? Who says we'll wait for ME3?"

"I want shadow broker to come out so I can start my adept insanity playthrough of mass effect 2!"

True enough, the first quote is technically a question but with the question she implied the adept would be buffed. People obviously tied the second statment to her first tweet as saying there would be a buff to the adept in Shadow Broker..
