Hey has anyone else had the problem of Morrigan saying you didn't do the dark ritual, even though you did? I was all excited to see how that played out and she went on about how I "denied her the ritual". Lameness.
Edit: I see i'm not the only one. Fantastic.
Me too, I encounterd the same problem.
She kept on telling me that I refused her retual, which I clearly did not.
However, she does mentioned "our son" quite a few times.
I'm utterly confused:huh:
Maybe its because I imported my awakening save instead of the origin save.
Imported Awakening save.
I had Alistair doing the DR...and still Morrigna says I refused her the ritual...this is so wiered

I used a Level 35 Awakening save. My female Warden/Queen (which is never mentioned!) went through with the ritual and let Alistair sex Morrigan up. At the end of DA:O, Alistair even talks about the baby and what it'll cost eventually but at the end of this DLC, Morrigan was pissed that I "refused" her. I love you Bioware but damn, I've never seen a game that's so freaking buggy.
On a different note, what the freak was the other gift that Morrigan left for me? She told me about the book and something else I'd be interested in and then the game just ends. Bah!
Also! So this is the end of our original Warden right? Pretty sad that the story still feels wide open. Do we suppose that (in my case) she just went back to Denerim and spent the rest of her days there or will she perhaps pop up in DA:2?
Nice to see Morrigan again but I have to admit, overall I'm a bit disappointed.

Also this I didn't do the ritual yet she was packing doesn't make any sense.
Bioware how did that happen and why don't you want us to know what actually happened with Morrigan?

The used all the same maps, locations etc from Awakening and Origins
They put a bunch of fillers and fetch quests in there to avoid any real dialogue
cheesy, cliché, forgettable companions..
they answered me nothing! I payed for a dlc with re-used locations and a Morrigan that's pissed at me and would tell me nothing even though Allistar did his thing with her.. WTF??

Right now, even if I liked Witch Hunt (for dialogs, every other thing disapointed me... she didn't recognize we made the DR...), I'm really REALLY afraid of any file transfer in DA2. I'm afraid of what would become my 130 hours playthrough of DA1.

Overall, if you have the money to spare and did a romance with Morrigan, I'd recommend it just for the small amount of closure it gives you.
My Score: 7/10

BioWare has to do something with save transfer and plot continuity. This is a huge feature in their games and it's bugged everytime.

What they need to do is stop doing it. They've never been able to implement it well and I'd rather play in a setting that is completely removed from your character and choices, than do something that continues to botch the continuity.
If they cant do it right they have no business doing it at all.

Other than that (and don't get me wrong, that was massive), I absolutely loved this DLC. Ariane and Finn were great companions, there was TONS of banter, lots of references, and I was overjoyed when Ariane asks me about the ring. That dialogue is one of my favorites in all of DAO. It just fit so perfectly.
Sadly that bug was a real buzzkill though...especially since it happens at what is supposed to be the emotional pinnacle of the story.

It's fun, but very short (Like Return to Ostagar short), and Morrigan is bugged. So if you didn't have much interest in Morrigan and you're not strapped for cash, you may as well. The big spider-monster-thing is pretty cool, anyway.

Gameplay: The game remained rather simple gameplay wise, nothing really "OMFG TOUGH' and the last boss is quite easy (only very annoying) compared to the Harvester since you've got Finn who is capable of healing your non-mage Warden groups.
Scenery: Revisiting old places... I disapprove. Every Dragon Age DLC did this and it only ends up to be very disappointing, it's essentially backtracking for the price of the DLC.
Bugs: Yes, I've got the bug everybody else got. Major, major facepalmness followed.

I agree.
That, or they have to put their pride apart and let us manually configure the flags of our saves at the beginning of a game.
Well, this "Bioware" day was a complete disappointement for me. WH and the problem with LotSB... I bought every DLC by now. I'll think twice.

A little stupid that choosing the ''grant the circle independance from the Chantry'' reward given at the end of the original game apparently doesn't carry over into this DLC: there are still templars at the tower, one at least.
It's not something that can happen over night and even Gaider said the Chantry can say "No."

Yeah. While it was incredibly obvious that it was happening in KOTOR 2, it worked. The continuity was never a problem in that game.
I haven't gotten LoTSHB yet, but if it's just more of the same bugs and issues I may just hold off for a while longer.
