Still, I enjoyed this more than any other DLC, except perhaps Leliana's song. I have three Wardens who survived Origins, and the story, felt personal to each. The apprentices in the tower were even gossiping about the Templar who had a crush on my mage. I wish awakenings had been more like this. I know that some want a more distinct ending, or to keep the wardens story going forever, but I'm happy to retire a character when his or her job is done, and to leave things a little vague, and perhaps a little mysterious, regarding their future.
I hope we get to see more of Morrigan's story in the future, but, for me at least, this was a good end to Origins. I hope DA2 finishes as strongly.

But whether you seek answers, revenge, or reconciliation with your lost love, you may find more than you bargained for.
Er, no.
Actually I got much LESS than I bargained for. I didn't get any answers. Seriously. I know nothing more about Morrigan and her plans now than I did at the end of DA:O. Terrible writing.
This DLC is a piece of anti-climatic junk. Whoever decided that the Dragon Age: Origin story should end with this should be ashamed of themselves. The battle are uninspired and ridiculously easy, I wasn't even playing an Awakening level character and I strolled through the DLC wihtout losing even a 1/4 of my health at any time. The story was weak and the grand finale with Morrigan lasted about three minutes. More effort seemed to go into writing jokes about dog ****** than Morrigan.
The best thing about the DLC was Ariane(?) the dual-wielding warrior. She was excellent. The mage on the other hand was a tool.
Dragon Age: Origins is a GREAT game, but the after release content has been half-assed to say the least. In terms of DLC this ranks at the very bottom (haven't played Golem though), Return to Ostager was better because at least you get to use your companions. A great game like Origins deserves a great send off - an epic tale, a bringing together of our companions for one last hurrah. Witch Hunt is as cheap, lazy and unsatisfying at it gets.
3/10.

NO, NO, and NOBut whether you seek answers, revenge, or reconciliation with your lost love, you may find more than you bargained for.
Nothing, absolutely nothing has answered.
Is it because of the DR bug, I don't know.
-If you seek answers: well, Morrigan said she doesn't want to tell me.
-if you seek revenge: its true that you can attack her
-if you seek reconciliation: yeah, like 5 lines.
-you may find more than you bargained for: more questions left unanswered.

This needs to be reposted 1000 times. Witch hunt is trash, who ever was in charge of it is a joke and has done nothing more than to tarnish what was a great game. I'm done buying any more DLC for Bioware games. Get your act together if you want to keep fans coming back.

What? Talking about the part where you can see your Warden and Morrigan facing each other @ the end? That's normal.

Maybe this would have been (too?) difficult to implement. I don't know. But almost all DLC that has been published after the game release has been an utter disappointment for me. Too much fighting with little meaning, not enough purposeful dialogue and more or less shallow new characters after another.
On the other hand, I very much liked how the Origins campaign ended (I absolutely loved the game as a whole) and how I imagined my Warden's story would continue. Maybe I'll just stick to that. There's still Awakening to play thorugh, but I'm nervous it would just have the same effect on me as most of the DLC has had.

After running into the DR bug and the subsequent "WTF" moment, I decided to test the beginning of Witch Hunt through importing different files from the same Warden. (Hurrah for compulsive saving!) For reference, he didn't romance Morrigan, but did the DR and talked to her at the Denerim gates.
Came up with this: Any saves that take place after the Post-Campaign file in Origins is bugged. Example: you load up the Post-Campaign to muck around with your inventory, then save. Your new save is bugged for Witch Hunt--and if you imported this save into Awakening (or any other DLC), the file is bugged.
This worked for me, perhaps it will save others some hair-pulling. I have yet to complete Witch Hunt with the PCS import, hopefully it works... Shame on you Bioware for not catching this. {smilie}
WOW .... if thats the case ... then that is just
