The fact that dog plays a (big) part in it was great, I missed the party banter with him and I also loved the conversation between the two male mages in the tower about him. The fact that dog was recognized by a lot of people made it feel like he was important (and he was to me
Must be interesting to see this DLC with a Warden that romanced Morrigan, but that will take some time for me because I just started that playthrough.
Also very nice that the Dalish get more attention, when I finished my Dalish playthrough she's going on a witch hunt. ^^
I also hit the bug about not recognizing the ritual.. I imported my very first Warden (who married Alistair), so hadn't played her in a while, but when I hit the bug I was like 'I did the ritual.. right?', I couldn't even remember. xD
Unfortunately I hit another bug, that was also in Awakening before the patch, was that my Warden couldn't recognize traps. So some parts were very annoying.
Now that I think about it, I saw another minor bug, not very important but it is a bug; on the world map when I went from A to B, the map showed I was walking from C to B. (makes sense, avoiding spoilers here?
Sorry if these bugs are named before, but I'm too lazy to read all the pages. ^^

After killing the Archdemon in Origins, you go back to the castle blah blah, BEFORE you EXIT the castle because "The people want to see there Hero blah blah :wizard:", SAVE the game. LOAD THIS save file and it doesnt act like you backtracked. Witch Hunt 'ending' bug never came about.
If you DID in fact deny the Dark Ritual, then save as normal in camp or what ever, because the bug will act as if you avoided it anyway. So, no harm no foul. I tested this method twice, with two characters. Seems to be all good
Hope this helps some one:)

If it was really the last time we get to use our wardens then... I am gutted. That story really went out with a whimper

And imo this was not the best way to end our Warden's story... they could have done way better..

They should have made it much longer. With hints towards the DA2 storyline or something extra. It just stated the obvious and revealed nothing more of her plans. What was the point of confronting her and get the same old story about the child? It also felt like an abrupt ending. I wish I could get those 30 minutes back along with my $7.
I'm just thinking how awesome it would be if they just let the warden play after it's all over, just re-spawn darkspans, bandits, etc like in fallout3 after you've spent weeks collecting that awesome gear that you'll only play for 30 more minutes on a DLC, you'd think you've earned the right to enjoy your hard work in owning stuff. Is anyone else feeling ripped off? no? oh well....
lol, I'm with you a 100 percent. you just got some good weapons for finishing these DLC's but you can't use'em anywhere except if you start all over LOL. The problem with starting over is that it'll only allow you a certain amount of chars.. And with all these dlc's all requirering a slot.. doesn't leave you many options.

This game really should have been longer and also ended it off correctly if it is true what people say and its the last time you use your warden. i kinda dont like having to be a generic character in hawke, they could atleast give you options for name when creating character
You couldn't choose your last name in DAO either.
Anyway, kinda liked the DLC, nice characters (that we'll never see again) and a more satisfying conclusion for those who romanced Morrigan even though it ends right when things starts to get interesting. But I rather enjoyed Morrigan as a character, so I can imagine that the DLC would be pretty boring for those who disliked her.
I'm mainly worried about the lack of a save game after you have completed it which I assume means that our choice in the ending dialogue will have no effect at all (unless they'll handle it like your appointment of a council member in ME2, but I doubt it.) . This just makes me think that the god baby will show up as a boss in DA2 with no mention of either Morrigan or the Warden.
Oh, and what the hell was the 'gift' she left you? Just the DLC items you get by doing the achievements?

Ok this worked for me as a Queen Cousland who did the DR and was bugged before.

Yeah quite a few people seem to be worried about the lack of a post completion save, myself included to a degree. But I don't believe that Bioware would create an ending as significant as what I would call "the most fitting" end to Witch Hunt (Don't want to post a spoiler and be more explicit, but I hope you know the one I mean) without planning to acknowledge it in the future. I mean for that ending to occur then have Morrigan appear in the future just on her own would be absurd. There are any number of ways they could account for your choice of final ending in a future game without you requiring a save file. So I like to think the Warden isn't finished with for good yet.

Can someone tell me if monsters are scaled down for a origins-only warden? (level 20ish)
I had no problem clearing everything at normal and beating the 'boss-monster' on hard for the achievement with a character starting at 22.5, so yes. It's for comparison a lot easier than Golems since you get a ridiculously good healer.

I know which ending you mean, and yeah. I certainly hope that Bioware takes that one in account if they decide to have Morrigan show up at some point.

Nice DLC to conclude DA:O.
I like how the end left so much unanswered, but still hinted at certain things and set up a good future plot. I was fairly satisfied with the ending, and got no bug either.
Actually no, there is no auto-save after the Morrigan confrontation.
So, there is absolutely no way that the "decision" will carry onto another game.
I was never claiming that. Just in terms of the storyline, not the specific dialogue options you chose.
Either way, no matter what you say, the ending is the same, so what I said still stands.
