Oh yes, but no time to use them...i only leveled up once so could only get 1 of the new spells.
How daft is that.

Man, I wish it was longer. I'm so bummed about this one. There could have been so much more done with it... but was boom, boom, boom and done. Even the Darkspawn Chronicles were longer than this one. Ya hurt my heart, Bioware, ya hurt it bad.

I found it pretty good...better then Golems or Leliana's Song.

It did feel like a decent epilogue because you go back and see how Ferelden is healing a year later. The ending could stand to be less abrupt, but it was still a better sort of final look then Golems or Awakening would have been. It did not resolve everything, but it gave a final chance to speak to Morrigan and, as I said, a look at some places either on the map or in the second reused locale and see some glimpses of Ferelden healing after Origins and Awakening. The return to two of the Origins areas felt more nostaligic then anything else and I kinda wish you could return to my PC's Origin...you know...gut Ivo like a trout.

Anyway, pretty good DLC, shame about the big bug.

Wow..... I just finished Witch Hunt and it only took about 30-45 minutes. And Morrigan didn't give me any sort of closure or satisfying answers. It wasn't bad. But over all the DLC seemed to be lacking something.

They showed spots on the map that you couldn't even visit. I was exited to see some places but it quickly turned to, "But...why?" Then I was like, "Maybe they'll open later in the storyline." But then... once again it shot me down. Then I thought, "Maybe after the creds I could go back in and see things." But then the final arrow hit me.

I didn't feel any closure with this...

The ending SUCKED. There should have been more sex, violence and EXPLOSIONS.

The ending is bizarre.  There's meant to be something for us but -- it cuts away.  Why?

Semper listen mate. If they wanted our choices to save for da2 with this dlc there would of been an end auto save. End of story.

Lol there is a end auto save. It just doesnt save auto save. It says Checking Save Data. I couldnt read it all since it went by to fast but it saved I believe. That or you will replay the ending on DA 2 or 3. If it happens in DA 2 then it would probably be in the beginning of the game befoe you play as Hawke. Or you will have the option to pick what happened.

I let it go right through the credits, it went back to the title screen. When I loaded it up again the last autosave was right before the "boss" fight.

Completed it but didn't see anything unusual about the dialogue. She seemed to acknowledge it was my sun and indirectly mentioned the ritual. I do wonder if it has something to do with me romancing Leliana instead. I'm going to roll an Elven Magi and go through it all again with the items I've unlocked from the DLC.

What troubles me most from my playthrough is the whole point of this gift Morrigan gives you at the end. What is it? Why can't we use it? Whats the point of even telling us this if it just cuts to credits and we can't do anything after. Why even throw it in if we arn't given anything to go on. What is it?

I believe it really a save you know. Kinda something different. I believe its a flag. If you dont know what a flag is in Dragon Age games then ill just say that I think its something that saves onto your hardrive of Dragon Age Origins that will transfer over if you import. But if you keep doing the WH ending over and over I believe the flag keeps changing. But I dont know for sure. There might be a big of some sort preventing the auto save that allows to import into DA 2

I believe its flemths grimore or something that will help you find her in DA 3 or possiblt a DA 2 DLC haha. But if its not something that will help you find her then it could be something that helps you talk to her like how the ring lets you feel her. But its only a guess

I was really looking forward to this dlc. It was wayyyyyy to short and it seems like almost NONE of my unanswered questions from origins were answered. I played through the 45 min game killing random crap then i get a 5 min cutscence from morrigan that told me ABSOLUTELY NOTHING about my child or her plans. The only interesting part was the very BROAD plans that flemeth has.

Oh and the book at the end? Thanks for nothing lol.

You guys I think the book which Morrigan leaves you is the "package" which Flemeth gives Hawke at the start of DA2.

Flemeth said in the demo that he has to deliever it to the clans keeper. connection?

PS: Hawke should go and never come back.

Just a heads up for you guys having issues with the DR not being recognized. Mark Darrah posted in This Thread that BioWare is aware of it and are working on a fix. As well, it looks like there is supposed to be an autosave at the end of WH, which is not firing, They're investigating on that too.

A clue of what I think it can be.

When I finished Dragon Age Origins, appeared a save from BioWare said that he could use to play so DLC etc.

however ... and is a big however.

There is a bug in that save.
And probably that is what is affecting the other.
I do not know, but I'm speculating.

When I was playing the Witch Hunt I used the save that I recorded before I open the door and finish the game. You know what I'm sayin? The door opens and you finish the game.

Anyway, I used that save. And as I did a strong romance during the DAO, look what Morrigan says:

"Harder Words I Have never spoken"

http://www.xfire.com...dragonage/?view # 103856570

If I use the save of BioWare, Morrigan is no longer with the status of "Love", her status is now "Friendely".

And the phrase "Harder Words I Have never spoken" will not appear when they get the Witch Hunt.

I hope to help.

Gotta say I'm flabbergasted, just floored, that I'm having issues with this DLC with what I would think is the "cannonical" game -- male warden, lovers with Morrigan, takes the deal. That is just beyond sloppy testing, I mean that almost rises to the level of no testing.

Interesting, but I'm not sure it makes sense.

I assume my Warden and/or Ariane picked it up as they left . . .so how did Flemeth get it to give it to Hawke?

Hey it's after Origins, so Hawke would of already gave it to the dalish keeper. Then Morrigan nicks it from the clan and travels back to Ferelden.

I'm just guessing, but I know in the demo, that Flemeth wants Hawke to deliever a package to a dalish clan.

Typical that Bioware mash  Flemeth/Morrigan/ and Hawke together, when it should be the warden dealing with Flemeth. Posted Image

My 0.02:

The DR bug can be frustrating, but the bigger issue is the content (especially towards the ending) imo.

I enjoyed the mini journey to find Morrigan. I thought my companions were likeable (though Finn could really stfu sometimes). Plus, they are very useful in combat with their strong abilities and equipments. Since I didn't use the Dog much in my Origins playthrough, i thought it was fun to have him around again.

Battles and the boss fight was pretty easy (due to high level Warden and companions), but nevertheless entertaining.

Overall, the DLC was enjoyable leading up to the final confrontation with Morrigan (if you call it a confrontation). It was anti-climatic, rushed or what ever you wish to call it. Actually, I think the cliffhanger left at the end of Origins was better than this "ending". I mean, why make this DLC if you can't even think of a conclusive ending to the Warden/Morrigan story?

PS: the Warden took the words out of my mouth in this DLC. "I'm not here to talk about your mother [Flemeth]". "All this search for nothing?"

Bioware have said they are looking into the bugged ending now so as long as we get a fix that's good enough for me.

That ruined it for me and peeded me off but I actually quite enjoyed it until that, I liked the two new characters, some of the banter as you were walking around was quality.

I wonder how they'll fix it.

My problem is that since me and the wife play the game we've chewed up all the save slots and have been deleting everything as we go along since each expansion or DLC needs a new slot - stupid BTW. Basically I don't have any of my characters left with a DAO save, they're all saved at E1 (DAA) or Golems so there's no record left for me of how my Warden ended up with her anymore from the sound of the problem.

I was with the thing up until we got to Morrigan. Thought the quests worked. They tied back into previous lore and things we'd seen and sure they used old settings but did it in a "new" way. I thought the compansions were interesting enough - better than the GoA or LS sidekicks.

THEN, came the ending and when the credits rolled I was stunned. Really, THAT was it? Bugs aside, like you said, even if it had been "right" it still would not have been a satisfying conclusion.

I'd understand sort of "incomplete" DLC feelings in ME2 which is bridging to ME3 but this is supposed to be the end of the Warden's tale and it feels like the jumping off point to another story.

It definitely ends way too abruptly. And hell, if you manage to tell Morrigan "Take me with you", I was really surprised at how easily she agreed with you. Before it was a very stern, stubborn "do NOT follow me". Then you just kinda ask nicely this time and she's like "ok lets go".

Very disappointed. I rarely post, but I felt very ripped off by this DLC. For what it was hyped up to be, there was very limited resolution, and it felt more like a long advertisement for DA2.

Bioware should be ashamed to have released this DLC in it's buggy state, and with the poor story. At least the dialog between your companions was enjoyable.

Seriously, this DLC has left me feeling the same way the last Seinfeld episode did all those years ago - confused, and completely ripped off.
