On the other hand, the end seemed quite rushed to me. Story was nice and left quite a few possibilities for another DA after DA2, but I missed at least some pictures with text depending on my decisions, as it was in DAO and Awakening. As it is, the end seemed kinda cut off.

Errr.. are they going to fix the dark ritual bug? Because i imported my main character 3 times, 1 from GoA, 1 from awakening and 1 from origins .Although i have done the ritual morrigan tells me that i havent(i checked the codex and it says that i have done it).And that is REALLY annoying.I understand that bugs can happen but i really need a fix for this one.

I certainly hope you are right. I agree a full campaign is far preferable to wrapping things up in a little DLC. I should have ignored the stupid marketing lines such as, "But whether you seek answers, revenge, or reconciliation with your lost love, you may find more than you bargained for." All you find is a little teaser to buy future DA games.Birko19 wrote...

The ugly:
• A major npc and plot point are sacrificed to promote DA2. Yes, Morrigan urges you to buy DA2 – not in some many words, of course - and no, you don’t get much else from her. How Bioware could think this will be effective is beyond me. I was neutral in my expectations of DA2 but now I have completely lost trust in Bioware.
Are you serious? As if BioWare really needs to do that, their game record itself is good enough for people to buy Dragon Age 2, not to mention that I'm very happy with such ending, because we know this will not be the last we will hear from Morrigan, our Warden, and the child they have, I would much rather see the ending later in a proper sequel rather than a 2-hour DLC.

Well, at least the Dark Ritual bug made it a bit awkward and funny. Here's the summary:
Morrigan - "You refused me but I have your son and he is well."
My Grey Warden - "Ehhhh.... who was that I did in the night before the final battle in Redcliffe? I'm pretty much sure there's only one scantily clad sorceress... or was I drunk?"

No idea. We'll have to wait until they release a patch to find out how it will work.

I thought Awakenings and Leliana's Song were decent, too. It didn't occur to me that Witch Hunt would be a plug for DA3 but I hope that's what it was. For DA2, I expect we are stuck with the overpowered talents and spells from Awakenings (please do not add more!) but hopefully we get a story and npc's of the calibre of Origins and they fix the flawed conversation system from Awakenings.Birko19 wrote...

The warden and Morrigan settle down to a nice life of domestic bliss.the warden tends to his fields,Morrigan gives him 2 more children, they shelter away from the events of the second blight ignoring Hawkes rise to power in the North.
But then, having followed a magic signature and huuuuge tear appears in the veil and out of it pours the Darkspawn horde, they fall upon the hapless inhabitants and how they slew, slew, slew.
Their target,Wardens farm is ahead, the ogres take position in the front, and with a roar they charge, thousands upon thousands....
The Warden takes a long old friend from the hooks in the wall, unsheaths the long two handed sword which shines,Morrigan places the children in the cellar through a door in the floor and takes hold of the Staff of Light, they both for a moment gaze lovingly into eachothers eyes, and head out into the melee.

I think I would have rather less DLC come out and have it be more meaty when they did release something. Witch Hunt and Goloms could have been folded into Awakenings. I just get the sense that they're cranking them out. Less is more sometimes honestly.
Hey Bioware! Slow down a bit! I'm looking forward to DA2 but please please please less wonky DLC. I'm waiting for the BW DLC stride. I thought Witch Hunt smoked Goloms in feel, but the battles were lame. Anyway glad they're focusing on DA2. Hopefully they'll have some of the bugs ironed out and we can all move on.

anyone else liked finn and Ariana besides me?
i find myself loving the party banters with them along with dog
I found them more interesting and compelling then the party members from any other DLC, and I say this as someone biased toward liking dwarven characters. They would fit right in with Awakening or Origins in terms of quality.

Unfortunately the ending really disappointed me, because the guys at Bioware promised that you can clear things up with Morrigan. Now i have more questions then before, but not more answers. Things she revealed I did mostly already had known.
Sure it is good to keep some secrets, especially one's , that are linked to main charakters, but this was too much. I really hoped for answers and gained as good as nothing. I'm kind of frustrated now because I love the Dragon Age world , but this was a no-go. Overall it was a decent DLC but you messed the ending up Bioware, not a good work at this point, expected far more.
Sorry for the weak English here. I'm from Germany, but our forums have less life then the deadliest desert. So I wanted to address my opinion here.
Greetings

Very disappointed. And why was it so expensive. There was one new creature and as far as I can tell nothing else original.
