Will my choices import properly? Or am I supposed to import my Origins character.
Thanks.

As long as you use the right save import in Origins, it doesn't matter what else you play through. I imported my epilogue save (right one), and not one after, into awakening, then golems, then witch hunt. No bug.

This is the same problem I had with Awakening. It really annoys me.

What is the post-epilogue save? Is is the one that occurs automatically after the different texts appear at the end of the game?
And again, which one must you use to go directly from Origins to Witch Hunt without bug? Some say post-coronation, others say epilogue, and others say it doesn't matter if you don't play awakenings.

The Origins save I imported into Awakening was a save at the camp, after completing the game and then doing the second Shale quest. Is this the right one?

On to WH then. Firstly, I enjoyed the majority of it. It was excellent to have my dog back, and the two new characters were pretty good - much better than the clowns we were lumped with in Awakenings. I shudder when I think about playing through that one again. There were some genuinely funny moments, and it just had a good atrmosphear.
The game was very very easy, due to all the characters being redicuously powerful at this point, but that is cool with me. I play now to follow the story. At this stage in his career, my warden should be able to slice through 10 Darkspawn like a hot knife through butter.
Then, we have the encounter with Morgs, which was an anti-climax if ever I have seen one. This could of been so much more, but instead it was rather dry and emotionless. Bioware, do you not know that this is what we have all been waiting for? And you seemed to have rushed through it.
It seems as if Morgs will be in DA2, but I certainly do not want her to be a romanciable character for Hawke - she belongs to my Warden, and should Hawke get in the way, I would love for nothing more than my Warden to strike him down!

I was certainly one who was looking forward to this DLC. After playing it I find it hard to believe that the good and reliable designers at Bioware thought that this was a good entry to close the DLC with. I liked the way it began, in the swamp and heading to the tower to do research. But the rest of it felt so rushed. I for one don't care about revisiting old locations, thats fine, but do something more with them than a few mobs. Then of course came the incredibly anti-climactic finale. When the credits began to roll my first thought was "I could have spent that $7 on an overpriced glass of cheap wine."
I liked the new characters well enough, but they certainly weren't developed much at all with no oportunity for my warden to get to know them. The confrontation with Morrigan answered none of my questions let alone "all" of them as the marketing promised. I understand VA is expensive and I'm sure Claudia Black even more so but this story could have had so much more potential without spoiling future DA plotlines. The whole thing just really seemed rushed.

Guys! Any save after the epilogue is going to be bugged. Don't go to the camp. Don't do any more DLC. Don't give Morrigan the mirror. Don't even switch your gear. Any save after the Epilogue save is bugged. It's not that complicated. However, Bioware will have a fix soon, so you probably won't have to worry about it much longer.

It was a fitting end to DA:O in my opinion. The companions were well-developed enough, (I like how Finn's "ghastly hat", knitted by his mother gave him a resistance against cold... just like a hat knitted by your mother should!), the recycling of environments was mostly justified. (In fact, using the circle library was a favourite scene of mine). The combat was interesting enough, although I hope that the "varterral" will not be a common occurence in DA2.
People talk about a lack of answers, I don't know, I think it gave enough, as it was obviously supposed to be a sequel hook. Flemeth is certainly looking to be one Magnificent Bastard within the setting, probably playing a "Xanatos Gambit" to get her own way. (I have been reading TV tropes too much, I know).
Dislikes: Am I the only one who felt like Morrigan's speech about "change" at the end was directed at us who have been skeptical about the way DA2 has been announced and presented? It sounded more like a lecture than a warning within the setting.

The DLC, the ending you get is a 0.2 second shot of the Fade (?) and credit roll!

It depends on what you mean by post-corrination... if you mean the epilogue that autosaves... then yes that's fine. if you mean continuing to play where you are supposedly going back in time and completing things before the final battle... then no.

POSSIBLE SPOILER
POSSIBLE SPOILER
Well, I just completed the game, and I have to say that in every way this DLC conformed to all the decisions I'd made re Morri throughout the campaign. I found it to be very satisfying and ... rewarding. DEFINITELY worth the few dollars.
I don't know about anything others have written about some "book" or other artifact. All I know is that Morri and my PC....
POSSIBLE SPOILER
POSSIBLE SPOILER
Walk almost literally hand-in-hand through the final mirror into another dimension in order to stay together and raise their child.
Exactly the resolution I was hoping for through lo, these many campaigns.

As far as I'm concerned, the story really ended, with the main characters living "happliy ever after".
Very, very satisfying.
Morri has to be the most fully-realized NPC I've ever seen, and I've been playing RPGs since the first entry of the "Brittanica" series, "Ultima".
Yeah, I've been playing that long.
Notice the gray hair on my avatar!

No no...Post-Corrination as in, in the Landsmeet hall where you talk to your party members. If you save your game there then upload will that cause the glitch?night0205 wrote...

I was just going to post this. It is not a bug in the game. After finishing origins I went to camp and stocked up on gear to take to awakening. When I imported it took my last save and that causes you to lose the ritual. I went back deleted all but my end game origins auto save and played through and Bingo, all was good. It seems that going to camp and saving after the game is complete makes the game forget you and her did the dirty.
Yes we know. Anything after the Epilogue save is bugged... I said this several times on this page alone.

Listen, you don't even do the DR until after the landsmeet... so it won't work anyways... I'm talking about the Epilogue save after you kill the Archdemon.

I guess I like the story portion of it much better than the gameplay. I liked how your companions would directly mention little things like Morrigan's Ring and such. Rushed, yes. Recycled? Perhaps. But it was still very satisfying.

BW should have left this alone, if they hadn't the time / resources / desire to make a really great Add-On about Morrigan.
