So what are the chances of Morrigan appearing in future DA games? I really like her character.

I really liked most of the DAO's DLC, in fact, I look forward for them all of the time but by far this was the worse of them. It's esp disappointing after finishing the Shadowbroker DLC over in ME2 and how I was truly stunned by how amazing it was.

I hope after DA2 comes out and the Bioware devs start pushing out DLCs for the sequel, they'll take more time in making them...and NO MORE REUSING MAPS FOR DLCs!

Well, I just completed the game, and I have to say that in every way this DLC conformed to all the decisions I'd made re Morri throughout the campaign. I found it to be very satisfying and ... rewarding. DEFINITELY worth the few dollars.

I don't know about anything others have written about some "book" or other artifact. All I know is that Morri and my PC....

Walk almost literally hand-in-hand through the final mirror into another dimension in order to stay together and raise their child.

Exactly the resolution I was hoping for through lo, these many campaigns.

I'm reminded of the ending of Brazil for some reason. Imagination is a wonderful thing, or are you just keeping in blinded-by-love character? Posted Image

Hello BioWare,

No patch to fix major outstanding game issues, no DLC purchases.

Love,

Found the easiest way to avoid the bug it would seem :bandit:.

After killing the Archdemon in Origins, you go back to the castle blah blah, BEFORE you EXIT the castle because "The people want to see there Hero blah blah :wizard:", SAVE the game. LOAD THIS save file and it doesnt act like you backtracked. Witch Hunt 'ending' bug never came about. B)

If you DID in fact deny the Dark Ritual, then save as normal in camp or what ever, because the bug will act as if you avoided it anyway. So, no harm no foul. I tested this method twice, with two characters. Seems to be all good :D.

Hope this helps some one:)

Ok this worked for me as a Queen Cousland who did the DR and was bugged before.

Sweet :P

I assume that you are talking about the PC version? since on xbox you can only select endgame saves
but i think i've been lucky so far as "the bug" hasn't shown itself yet on my PC or Xbox
but thanks for the tip anyways:happy:

Yeah my Queen Cousland managed to avoid the bug too, thank goodness.

Anyway maybe it's because I had so very low expectations I do not feel that crushed by WH and would say it was okay up until before ending, but still I'll say....Seriously Bioware? You call this closure?<_<

If they just said "you get run around thedas doing random stuff to have a chit-chat with your favorite swamp witch!" I wouldn't have minded, but why the false promises? :unsure:While the companions were fun and the overall story was nice, I really don't get why we were promised something they didn't want to give us. I haven't tired it yet, but it seems only characters who romanced Morrigan get to follow her, and even then we do not know their fate so it doesn't matter anyway.

I disliked about how shoddy the marketing was with slogans that were deliberately untrue. However I was very happy with the ending I got. There was alot of questions left....alot more questions than answers but it still kind of tied up the romance up which is a plus.

Also, and needless to say, I didn't need to see any "Epilogue" cards of what happend to whom.

As far as I'm concerned, the story really ended, with the main characters living "happliy ever after".

Very, very satisfying.

Morri has to be the most fully-realized NPC I've ever seen, and I've been playing RPGs since the first entry of the "Brittanica" series, "Ultima".

Yeah, I've been playing that long.

Notice the gray hair on my avatar!

Don't worry Brian, I've been playing since "Keep on the Borderlands"... so you're not alone in the greay hair club. Posted Image

Reaction has been sporatic. Some have loved it, some have hated it, I suggest after the "bug" is fixed, that you try it for yourself. It is that last DLC you know...?

Its just another DLC with a bunch of reused map locations from Origins and Awakening. Its nothing special.

I was positively surprised for once.

While there are certainly as many and more loose ends than before, still, there was a feeling of conclusion. Besides that I liked the reused maps. Visiting old locations, remembering what took place there.

Funny companions, I liked them. Good atmosphere throughout the DLC.The fights were nothing special, but that wasn't what I was after anyway. My wardens are all maxed out so I don't care.

*Possible very slight spoilers ahead*

My only serious complaints are:

1. It was to short. I'd happily have payed twice the money for the final installment, if it would have been longer, and tied up more loose ends, then.

2. Some sort of meeting, communication, conversation with the at least some of the companions from DA:O. Alistair, Zevran and Leliana. Maybe Shale as well.

Still, all in all the best DLC since The Stone Prisoner, and the only one I would call "good" of the post release DLC. (I haven't played the darkspawn dlc, nor Leliana, so I don't know about those.)

I am still far from convinced I'll bother with DA2, but that's another story.

Oh, and besides the usual crashes, *grumble* I did not experience any inconsistencies with the ritual or any other kind of bug.

Without getting too close to spoilers I just want to say to those that say they did not get any answers, I think that you are way off base. Use your imagination and think forward to DA2 and I think it will click. If you completed the ritual listen very close to the conversation and she tells you what you need to know. And it is clear as day how your choices in DAO will carry over to DA2. It is very well scripted and if it goes the direction that I am almost positive it will then it is going to be amazing. I have completed it with the Ritual, no ritual, and even as a Warden from Orlais and I was able to pick up on the direction they are heading with it. Trust me, the answers are there if you just think about it. Also this is not ment to sound condisending at all but if you would like to hear my explaination of what I believe is taking place PM me and I will share, I would also like to hear others opinions on my predictions.

I agree with TMZuk. Once they iron out the bugs for folks (I didn't get any either on XBox360) it's worth $7, especially for the ending of sorts for the Warden romance with Morrigan. It'll be a while, but I'll beck you a beer there will be more Morrigan/ Warden stuff after DA2 comes out. Any takers? :D

Guys! Any save after the epilogue is going to be bugged. Don't go to the camp. Don't do any more DLC. Don't give Morrigan the mirror. Don't even switch your gear. Any save after the Epilogue save is bugged. It's not that complicated. However, Bioware will have a fix soon, so you probably won't have to worry about it much longer.

Do you mean Post-Corrination as well? cuz those are the only one's I use.

It depends on what you mean by post-corrination... if you mean the epilogue that autosaves... then yes that's fine. if you mean continuing to play where you are supposedly going back in time and completing things before the final battle... then no.

No no...Post-Corrination as in, in the Landsmeet hall where you talk to your party members. If you save your game there then upload will that cause the glitch?

Listen, you don't even do the DR until after the landsmeet... so it won't work anyways... I'm talking about the Epilogue save after you kill the Archdemon.

The Epilogue save was put in -BY- Bioware themselves for people to be able to do DLC content (Return to Ostagar, for example) when it was released without having to replay the entire Origins game. It's nowhere unforeseeable that people who had finished Origins when it first released WOULD use this save game, since the GAME ITSELF TELLS US TO USE IT FOR THAT REASON! It's in the very in-game message that pops up after you load back into the game!

Granted, yes, you can use the other saves (if you still have them, which several people have stated they don't), but for some of us also who have since used that point to continue on into Awakenings and Golems, this was something Bioware's QA clearly missed. Stop talking to people as if they screwed up somehow by using a post-ending save game, when the designers specifically put it in place to enjoy their DLC.

Man, I feel lucky. The DLC worked beautifully for me. I took my time and completed it around 2/3 hours after starting. The ending was also great.

So i was wondering that since i wasnt in a relationship by the end of Origins, but had been during it, i would still have a chance to get the lavy da ending from Witch Hunt. If not then i may have to sort my saves out as im trying to do all Warden DLC under one warden.

.......I hate you BioWare. I hate you with every fiber of my being. Since this is the 'conclusion' of DA:O, i came into this looking for answers, good or bad. Instead I get a buggy POS with NO ENDING, at ALL, nothing is resolved, nothing is settled. I dont want to spoil, but you find Morrigan. Congrates. Seriously, thats it.

If this is what I have to look forward to in DA2, you can just kiss my ass right now. I

I think whoever was responsible for the development of this DLC had a few too many drinks the night before the storyboards were due.
