"Earn powerful rewards that transfer into your Awakening and Origins campaign"
How am I supposed to get those items to my original campaign? The Witch Hunt was completely separate... and essentially the save that matters most is the Origins epilogue since I havent gotten Awakening yet. How does this work??

Me too, especially with your warden looking right into the camera at that moment.sgs1999 wrote...
Dislikes: Am I the only one who felt like Morrigan's speech about "change" at the end was directed at us who have been skeptical about the way DA2 has been announced and presented? It sounded more like a lecture than a warning within the setting.

I think whoever was responsible for the development of this DLC had a few too many drinks the night before the storyboards were due.
What storyboard do you mean? There is a storyboard for Witch Hunt?
I think it was in that book you were supposed to get back from Morrigan....

This DLC honestly wasn't worth the 45min it took to complete it let alone 7$. GG BioWare if the sole intent was to hype DA 2 you've only succeeded in making me cautious about buying DA 2. If this is the type of DLC I cn expect from DA 2 as well I might of just wait and pick up DA 2 in a bargain bin like I see DAO in now.

You bought the game and played it. It's like eating a sandwich and saying "I didn't really enjoy that" and asking for a refund.
I think Turk from Scrubs puts it best...
No, a better analogy would be buying a sandwich, which turned out to be rotten and asking for a refund, which is justifiable.
Actually I think Stan from south parks analogy put it best
Stan: Oh, we will. This is America, and in America, if something sucks, you're supposed to be able to get your money back!
Honestly I don’t know how anyone who isn’t a delusional fanboy could not feel ripped off. I don’t mean to insult anyone but if you liked this DLC you’d probably like any trash thrown in your face as long as it has a BioWare logo on it.

My character (DW rogue 90+ in Cunning and level4 Deft Hands) couldn't detect a single trap no matter how long I waited...
It reminded me of my Awakening playthrough (before 1.04 patch was out). The same annoying !@#!%!

Found the easiest way to avoid the bug it would seem.
After killing the Archdemon in Origins, you go back to the castle blah blah, BEFORE you EXIT the castle because "The people want to see there Hero blah blah :wizard:", SAVE the game. LOAD THIS save file and it doesnt act like you backtracked. Witch Hunt 'ending' bug never came about.
If you DID in fact deny the Dark Ritual, then save as normal in camp or what ever, because the bug will act as if you avoided it anyway. So, no harm no foul. I tested this method twice, with two characters. Seems to be all good.
Hope this helps some one:)
Ok this worked for me as a Queen Cousland who did the DR and was bugged before.
Sweet
I assume that you are talking about the PC version? since on xbox you can only select endgame saves
but i think i've been lucky so far as "the bug" hasn't shown itself yet on my PC or Xbox
but thanks for the tip anyways:happy:
thats not true you can pick any save for the xbox 360 not just the endgame

Lair of the Shadowbroker however was WELL worth the money and I enjoyed every second of that.
But come on Bioware, you will have to make up for this one with Witch Hunt. I don't think anyone enjoyed this.

First the plug in itself is spoiler free because when u confront Morrigan (for about half a minute) she says nothing u don't arleady know. Second if u wanted to fight her, forget it u can't. Disappointing. It seems Bioware doesn't respect their own franchise!!!!
In these DA DLCs we face the same problems: A new group again (why?), with basically the same characters, especially the whiney funny guy, and the same voice offers (the guy that did Alistair must have a connection at Bioware). The productions values are low: Again u visit the same areas from DA Origins (not all of them ofcourse).
If u compare DAO DLCs to ME2 DLCs (especially the incredible Lair of the Shadow Broker) u will understand which of the two Bioware teams is more talented... I played Witch Hunt and Shadow Broker back to back and the quality difference is astounding both in terms of storytelling and production values... Whitch Hunt was a sad empty epilogue for a great game...

Worst DLC ever.
I paid you $7 for an hour I will never get back.
I actually feel violated right about now. At least the violation only lasted an hour...if that.
I feel violated by your terrible poasting.

The ending was terrible. Didn't they advertise that we could resolve the Morrigan situation with this DLC? That we would get some answers? It answered nothing.
Also 45 minutes? Really? Disappointing way to end DAO.

The ending was so abrupt and answered little to nothing... it was a really really weak and disappointing ending
After having played Lair of the Shadow Broker and Project OVerlord for Mass Effect 2, Witch Hunt felt so terribly weak in comparison... especially seeing how every location in witch hunt is recycled from the original game (or other dlc).. whereas Shadow Broker and Project overlord for ME2 had totally new / unique locations to visit (and amazing endings to boot).
I dunno.. I just felt so let down by the Witch Hunt DLC.. it was so abrupt and weakly written.

Good - enjoyed playing my Warden again and liked the hunt for clues.
Bad - did not like the ending. Too abrupt. Maybe they should have added some Epilogue balloons to tell what happened to the Warden or if any changes were made to the campaign because of the Warden's choices. The repurcussions of the Warden's choices was always a MAJOR factor in this game as an RPG and was what we as players enjoyed the most.
Although this is the last DLC for Origins, I would have probably bought more DLC as I can't get enough of it. The only DLC I've refused to buy is Darkspawn Chronicles - killing my friends is not something I even find in the least appealing.
My question is: what is going to happen for Dragon Age for the next 6 months while we wait for Dragon Age 2??
