At this juncture, I'd like a Dragon Age III, but don't want it to be a trilogy. "Trilogy" implies a story told in three parts, whereas I've always gotten the impression that Dragon Age is meant to be more a world than any one story. That so many are attached to the characters from that first part is all well and good, but their story is not the world's story.Immortanius wrote...
Has it even been mentioned that there will be a Dragon Age 3? I read somewhere a few months back that there aren't any plans to make Dragon Age a trilogy....I really hope that isn't true. Surely, if Dragon Age 3 does end up happening, we'll get the REAL conclusion to the Warden's story, with or without Morrigan. Witch Hunt, while I enjoyed up until the quite abrupt and quick end and my Warden joined Morrigan in the portal, just can't be the TRUE end. It just doesn't even make sense, it's got to be setting the stage for something epic up ahead...Surely.

EDIT: To the above comment, I reckon if there was a dragon age III, it would be about defending Thedas from the Qunari invasion. I really hate them so so much, I even killed Sten, he was such a douche.

Okay please can someone tell me what 'Witchcraft' is? I completed witch hunt and it appears in my registered game promotions followed by (for Origins) and another followed by (for Awakening). I understand it is a game bonus for completing Witch Hunt but where/how do I access it in Origins, whatever it is?

In all honesty it is such a short DLC that if you do not like/care for Morrigan, it is probably not worth it...just my opinion ofc.

The content has always been put automatically into my inventory. There's a mace, robe, kight leatherr armor, bow, pendant. Usually towards the bottom of the section.
(note: I'm a 360 player, don;t know if there'd be a difference.)
As for Witchhunt, I loved that it was a more personal look at Morrigan, even if it was short. As for the continuation, I've heard Flemeth is actaully suposed to be in DA2. That, combined with info from Witchhunt..... things are gonna get crazy. I loved how the romace can influence it though. My female character wasn't able to go with. Imported my original character and rushed through just for that reason.

Is there any point to playing this DLC if I didn't romance Morrigan???

My Warden didn't love Morrigan(slept with, dumped her for Leliana) so my only reason for playing it was to answer the question "WHERE DID MORRIGAN GO?". As soon as i finished Origins i immediatly imported my save into WH just for THAT reason. After playing it now i find myself wondering about it's impact on the overall story. Judging by her words at the end of the DLC it sounds like there is quite a bit of foreshadowing going on there.
On the brightside however, i did like the two companions you get to help track down Morrigan. That's the one part of it i think they really got right. Aside from that i think WH is just LotSB but with out the Shadow Broker parts, great bonus DLC if you romanced the primary character featured in it but if not then there's not a whole lot of reason to play it.

I think the Ending of Witch Hunt would have been better if it was a solid bridge into DA2. I'm not saying it should introduce you to Hawke but it'd be cool if you saw a few epic scenes from DA2 to get you hyped before playing the game.

Yeah I agree witch hunt imo was soley designed out of a sense of fairness for male wardens who had a romance with morrigan.
Morrigan and viconia have sooo much in common

What should I play first DA Awakening or Witches Hunt? I was going to play Witches hunt.
I think your ment to play Awakening first and then Witch Hunt. Witch Hunt has a a few areas that are revisted from Awakening.

Awakening was excellent, this was a sorely dissapointing to end to one of the greatest RPGs ever.

You'll need to play the game in the following order Origins - Awakening - Golems - Witch Hunt. The Nest is an area in Awakening; you'll have to play that in order to get to the nest. Am myself playing Witch Hunt at the moment and loving it so far. I have played for 2+ hours; I don't get why people said this was only a 1½ hour DLC? And I am at Cadash Thaig now, so I'm guessing I half way there? to the end, I mean.
Took me a little less than a hour to beat it. I skipped looking for information on Cadash thaig though.

I don't get why people felt cheated out of ending with Morrigan; not all romances end happily (well, only in Hollywood movies, maybe). And for my Dalish Elf character (Warden), the ending was indeed very fitting and well done. I saw tragedy, yearning and a sense of both fate, destiny and sadness in Morrigan's eyes as well as I heard it in her voice. (kudos to the cinematic designers and the voice actor - and the writers, too, especially...).
Edit:
As for going to the Nest, you need to remember to pick the key from a certain dead master with the keys...
And now to something completely different:
Do any of you know if I safely can un-install DA: Origins now, since the saves are kept in a different locations than the main game...

Okay, it could have been better, but it didn't leave a bad taste in my mouth. I liked how the ending is when you choose to go with Morrigan. It left mysteries and speculations, and showed that this wasn't the end for the Warden.
Okay, the reason why I don't hate the game could probably be that I only heared negative things of this DLC and expected the worst. I kinda glad it turned out this way for me
