Dserpa - you're right, your logic does indeed fail, since I said no such thing. Welcome to the concept of a "Straw Man" ;¬)
Brother - nope, it would be the truth. How's reality working out for you?
You do know something can be both true and insulting, right?

And telling people on an internet forum that they're acting stupid makes you cool?

I'm not swearing at anyone nor did I shoot myself in the foot. I just called 'stupid' on taking a day off work to download a DLC and then ****ing about it when it wasn't going to be released anyway until about an hour ago at the earliest. No matter how you cut that, the behaviour is stupid, sorry

11 AM Mountain time = 6:00 GMT.
That would be right under Stadard Time, but right now MDT offset is -6. Right now it is 1700Z.

what more....a good song.... something catchy.
Was going to say catchy and fun but that might not work with everyone warden. Catchy fun would work for my little Goody two-shoes-warden =)
Maybe there has to be two catchy songs? Life is full of questions.

The "straw man" part is the "makes you look cool" bit. He has a point, he never made that claim.
And for what it's worth, it *is* pretty stupid to take off work for 2 hours of DLC.

But what if you're taking off work for two DLCs as I think many also DL'd Lair of the Shadowbroker too.

People have taken off work for far, far dumber things. I don't fault anyone for taking a day off for recreation if they want the break, so long as they can afford it.

1.Dragon Age 2
2.A Dance with Dragons
3.Tes V
4.Dragon Age DLC
If it's on the list it counts.

Not if you're taking paid vacation time off. Then you're getting paid to play video games.

Debatable, but the point stands that ****ing at Bioware for the DLC being late is bad behavior. It wasn't their fault that you (generic "you") used a day of vacation/holiday time when there are no guarantees what time the content will be available.

Well it's certainly strange and nerdy, but since nerdy is awesome let's throw that one out and just keep strange in there. However I don't interfere with what people do. It's their choice and I think this discussion needs to calm down a bit guysCrazy_Cat_Lady wrote...

I never said he did. No straw men here.

I like the way you think. I also wonder how much further we can derail this thread.

You're just jealous because Walmart wouldn't let YOU have the day off. Some of us have real jobs where we get these things called VACATION DAYS. Its awesome, we can use them for whatever we want. One of the perks of being a college graduate!
