On Tuesday September 7 Lair of the Shadowbroker DLC for Mass Effect 2 goes on sale. This thread is for fans to post their feedback WITHOUT ANY STORY SPOILERS. This is a NO SPOILERS forum. People deliberately spoiling the fun of others will lose their posting privileges.

I cannot stress this enough, NO SPOILERS HERE. If you enjoy Shadowbroker and want to tell people why you liked it, fine. Use general phrases like "The ending was really good" NOT "I cried when Liara blah blah blah" or whatever. Same thing if you don't like LotS. Saying "I wanted to have more X, Y, Z" is fine. Saying "I can't believe the bit where Shepard pulls her gun and Liara....! That makes no sense!"

Again, you can like or dislike Lair of the Shadowbroker and give your opinions, but avoid spoilers. Posting how long it took you to play is NOT a spoiler. Posting thinsg you liked or disliked can be spoilers, so be careful waht you say.

We do not know exactly when Lair of the Shadowbroker will be available on Xbox Live. I believe the plan is for the PC to go live around 10am tomorrow morning (yes we do everything Edmonton, or MST, time). I am sure some helpful person will say when it is available for download through XBL.

The main thing I want to know is which is better pre or post suicide mission, yeah I know what chris and the writers said, but hopefully someone can tell us without spoilers sometime tomorrow.

Also good foresight.

That will be pretty subjective and open to interpretation for each person who plays it. Some will prefer one, others, the other.

You can shout it till you're blue in the face, people around here still won't listen.

But just in case: Phubb88 is right. 5am US eastern time. No earlier, probably a bit after 5am, as that's only when the market begins updating.

marketplace.majornelson.com is the first place you'll find it. It'll hit the xbox dashboard 15-30 mins after that. Then, lastly it'll hit cerberus network, possibly a few hours later. That's how it's been with all the other DLC.

True enough.

I'll still drop the question before I have classes tommorow and hopefully get an answer while I am off doing real life things <_<.

Hell if it doesnt fit games come with a magic "reload" button.

Eh... I live in California and XBL is always updated and ready to go by 6:00 am.  Best thing to do is to go to add-ons then ME2 and it will be the first place it is at.  It will take a while before they shuffle it to the dashboard and the Cerberus network will get it a couple hours after that.

So if it's 5am Eastern time, my little clock converter on my browser says it's 0:26. That means it'll be out in 4.5 hours which is 7pm Australian Eastern time. With any luck.

Edit: I'm also waiting for DA:O Witch Hunt as well though. I'm guessing I probably won't be able to get them running until tomorrow afternoon.:crying:

Everyone should just go to sleep and play it when they wake up.

Also, I'm going to be very sad if we don't get to find out who or what the Shadow Broker is.

The most expensive and reportedly satisfying/fulfilling DLC will be nothing if it doesn't live up to it's namesake and promise.

Not quite.  Australian Eastern Standard Time is 14 hours ahead of Edmonton, which means the DLC won't be released in Aus until 2am Wednesday.

I read somewhere that the dialogue will lean more over the post suicide mission than pre, so it'll probably make more sense doing it post.

My maths must be out then.

US Eastern time is -4 GMT

Australian Eastern Standard time is +10 GMT (We are from the future!)

So your 14 hour difference is correct. But 05:00 + 14 hours = 19:00, which is as I said, 7pm.
I was refering to the 5am US Eastern base.
Most of the other DLCs have been available around 11pm to midnight but I doubt I'll be up that late and I have to leave reasonably early for work so the next opportunity I'll have will be tomorrow afternoon. Around 24 hours away, Wednesday pm hours.

Edit Oh, I also like to sleep so I guess I have my priorities messed up. :P

Sorry mate, but as Chris wrote, they're aiming to release it at 10am Mountain Standard Time, which means 2am Wednesday for us.
Like you, I can't stay up that late since I have to go to work as well, and to top it off, my PC is going in for a bit of maintenance on Wednesday so I won't be able to have a crack at it until the weekend anyway :(

That's for PC, Xbox will be out sometime after 5am US eastern daylight time.
