LoTSB is pretty awesome so far, I'm impressed. I've only played a bit, but I've noticed some pretty nasty framerate issues on Azure. Hopefully that gets sorted out. Can't wait to finish it later..now I must sleep.

I'm taking it that only some 360 users have access so far? No PC ones?

Theres a download link on XBL.com that allows us to download it to our 360's.

The PC version is probably going to be up when the guys at Bioware get into work.
Chris mentioned the time in the OP.

Is anyone else having trouble finding this? I was scrolling through the ME2 dlc on Xbox marketplace, and it appeared there for a second, but when I went back to it after getting points, it was gone. Can't find it on XBLA or from the ME2 menu

Then what the hell is up? I checked online on xboxlive.com and it's not there either. I bought points for it and got up especially to DL it and it's vanished.

EDIT: It looks like this DLC is available in the UK, but not Irelans. That HAS to be a mistake.

EDIT: Aaaaaand it's appeared again. WTH. Maybe the Shadowbroker himself is messing with this :P

:D

I bought it on xbl.com (I'm in the UK). Won't be switching my xbox on until this evening though - I have a massive deadline in 10 days time and still have something like 15,000 words to write. That doesn't leave much time for gaming >.<

Ah, I won't get to play this until after school, but from the achievements list, it looks like there's an achievement for beating it on Hardcore or Insanity. Really BioWare? Goddammit.

Ok, finished, non spoiler feedback:

It's not as long as i expected but the missions are pretty stunning. The locales, especially the locale of the final mission, is amazing. total eye candy.

The finale mission itself is pretty straightforward but enjoyable (such, such eye candy). The illium mission was actually more interesting due to the large amount of storytelling mixed with action.

The vehicle section was so brief, by the time i'd figured out how to control the car properly it was over. But it was also freaking awesome. Illium is so stunning! It's such a different experience to the Mako and the Hammerhead, more akin to a vehicle section in call of duty. Definately something i hope they add more of in ME3! HH's exploration is fun, kinda laid back, whereas this is fast paced fury! Hopefully we'll get more "in context" vehicle sections in the future. If you want to know what i mean by In Context, it's discussed in the vehicles thread in my sig.

1st boss was amazing. More weird and wonderful bosses like that in the future rather than just re-using heavy mechs like in the main game please! 2nd boss was great, too!

*slight spoiler* Was a little sad that a certain beefcake salarian from the comic book didn't appear *end slight spoiler*

And yes, Liara does expect some splaining if you cheated. whoops.

Overall: Wow. Amazing amount of content packed into what is truly unmissable DLC. Can't wait to see what else we've got coming! Man, if the DLC for ME2 is anything to go by, ME3 is going to be a whole new level of awesome again.

Finished it. It was great. It was shorter than I expected but no matter, I loved it. And there's a nice little treat at the end. I specifically thought some things were freaking hilarious. People will know what I mean when they play it. It was worth the 800pts IMO,

I have played quite a bit of it - not going to spoil it but it looks like i am almost half way (i have no way of telling though) and it took me about an hour and a half. So far it has EASILY been the best ME2 mission, it is above and beyond what i expected. There were some early twists that some may/may not seem coming. Also you do benefit quite a bit from reading the comics before hand so it might be a good idea to give them a quick read through while downloading.

As i said, esily the best DLC, for me so far it is better then all the standard on disk missions as well so can't easily recommend it enough. Going to sleep now and going to wake up early before work to try to finish it. 5/5
