geez is that really necesary? keep in mind its the first day this dlc was released and anything new ( including game systems) tend to have some form of setback on day one.

Mistakes happen, at least chris gave us something, many game companies feed you silience for a lot longer.



I agree with whomever said "TOR beta keys though", i mean most of us are gonna buy it anyways so wouldn't it be nice if we helped get it running? Then again would BioWare really want a bunch of flamming forum trolls testing there new epic mmorpg.....

Ok for 1. I don't think they intentionally uploaded a blank file, I'm thinking the http server is spitting out garbage when it gets file requests. I'm pretty sure they got a working installer on their end, getting the server to release that to 1000 angry players at the same time is the hard part, would be my guess.

2. I agree, they should have at least one person running back and forth updating every 15 mins or so, even if nothing has changed. Throw us a bone Bioware, other companies do it <<

imo i think its xboxlive because it was slow downloads for me lastnight when i dloaded overloard and others. today lotsb worked fine for me though so i dont know if its xbl or maybe the internet acess you use

I have the same problem, simply delete the  downloaded exe and try again in a few hours or tomorrow.

For showing good will, BioWare could add additional BW-Points to the accounts of the pc-users.

Or add a BioWare-Points-Card exclusively in the PC-Version of ME3, not in that of the XBox.

I'm certain we can all act like mature adults and have a bit of patience in what is clearly an accident and being worked on right now. It's not like a few hours of delay are a breach of contract or meant as a personal insult to you and your family.

While I agree with you Bioware could make a bit more of an effort to try and placate their customers. I mean they started badly with announcing LotSB long before it was due for release and didn't help matters by keeping PC players waiting till 10am MST when it went out on Xbox Live hours earlier but to then upload a clearly untested file and have said really nothing more than they're investigating isn't going to do much to engender customers to you.

Seriously it can't be that tricky to create a sticky thread so it's clear to everyone that they're aware of the problem and give them a nice simple place to update with new info. Neither can it be that hard to admit that the file they uploaded was broken, even if they don't provide an explanation about how that occured. And a little idea of what they were doing to fix it wouldn't go amiss, like maybe saying they're in the process of creating a new uncorrupted file that'll be uploaded. An eta doesn't necessarily have to be given, just confirmation that what people have already figured out is true and that bioware are working on it.

If it was the first DLC, I'd agree, but they've had time to get the science right by now. They should have had this ready weeks ago. Although, I think they have had this ready, like I said I think it's a server issue not an installer source file issue.
