Okay BIOWARE! why the HELL is my download telling me I am using the WRONG version for my windows?

I just spent and hour and a half downloading this thing for it to say it won't work. W  T   F![smilie]../../../images/forum/emoticons/pinched.png[/smilie]

geez is that really necesary? keep in mind its the first day this dlc was released and anything new ( including game systems) tend to have some form of setback on day one.

If it was the first DLC, I'd agree, but they've had time to get the science right by now. They should have had this ready weeks ago. Although, I think they have had this ready, like I said I think it's a server issue not an installer source file issue.

While demanding demanding demanding is pointless, a tone of acceptance and understanding is equally ineffective.

In this instance, the response of the forum is almost entirely irrelevant. So why not vent your anger? BioWare did error, it may be a small error not worthy of such out of proportion rage - but don't try to tell me that I should just take on an air of complete ambivalence.

The reason I said that is because I have paid for something which I have been told will be available for use after downloading and it isn't. My annoyance is directed at the fact they have had ample of time to make sure everything has gone smooth and that I have received no information on what the problem is or any sort of apology for this failure

people asking for entitlements because of delays, are you for real? would you rather they didnt release this at all. learn to be patient and accept that sometimes, things come a little late. try to respect the amount of effort that developers put into stuff like this.

Read the thread.  You just downloaded 1.5GB of the number 0.  It's a big, blank file.

Just on a side note, isn't it a strong possibility that this has nothing to do with programing? I mean, a physical problem with their download servers could be responsible for sending out very large, very empty files. The logistics of trying to replace said servers and/or re-uploading the file to a new set of servers and redirecting the download links from the BioWare social network site can be quite time consuming and would be more of a "nobodys fault" sort of error. Just saying, considering the DA:O dlc seems to only work in game,...

We are owed the product we paid for in a reasonable amount of time. There's no reason to believe at this point we won't get it.
