I think it should be obvious by now that the whole problem is a result of the true geth preparing to attack. They're just waiting for us to network together to scrub the junk data.

Bioware always manages to screw something up, one way or another.

BioWare has always done an excellent job at delivering quality games.  They have never created a game that was less than excellent.  Get some patience, shut your mouth, and wait quietly for the DLC, because there are many fans of BioWare here who don't want to hear your bull****.

You could always create your own, 0 is inbetween the 9 and - on a standard keyboard.

I strongly doubt that this is a step that QA somehow missed.  Clearly they must have had a working executable, or they would never have gone ahead with the release.

The 1.5 gigs of zero bytes indicates to me that something went wrong in transfer and destroyed the file - either this happened while uploading it to the server, or the file on the server is correct as well, but the server only sends out zeroes instead of the data in the file.  In the latter case I could understand the time it is taking to correct this - but the former case should NOT take more than a few minutes to fix for any reasonably competent IT worker.
