Oh, and BTW, I have Cable, not ADSL. The area I live in is not good for ADSL.
I'm with Telstra - they own ALL the lines in my area, so unless I want dial-up, they're my only option at the moment.

Bioware always manages to screw something up, one way or another.
name them .
Bazaar, Kasumi DLC release. Not enough? At least I'm sick ot this constant f*ck-ups. And you know what? The worst thing is the huge hype created by Bioware 2 month ago. And what is the result? What a shame!
I don't know what you're talking about. The Bazaar was an extremely popular promotion for BioWare, and I'm pretty sure it achieved its goal quite well. Sure it was a bit of a disappointment for many fans, but in almost every contest, most people wind up losing. Quit whinig about it. You lost.
I'm not sure what your problem is with Kasumi. Kasumi and her mission were great additions (and cheap) to the game.
I have never seen BioWare (and I have been watching them for years...) screw up anything that was not able to be fixed quickly. I am a software engineer, and I know perfectly well the kinds of problems that can arise with a release, especially a release of something this large. They are working out their problems as we speak, and we'll get the DLC soon enough. Your whining and general assery is not helping the situation in the least, and I'm sure once the DLC is released for PC, we will all enjoy it thoroughly.
I wish that all the complainers on this message board will grow up and wait for BioWare to deliver their product before ****ting on them. As I said, they have never failed to deliver products of the highest quality, and I'm sure this will be no exception.
It is a point, but...
We are already payed for this. The empty file is on server and a lot of ppl downloading it without visit this forum, not even knowing it is corrupted. Some of them paying for the bandwitch. But who cares?
There is no 'I.m sorry'
There is no 'it will be fixed in eg 5 or 10 hours, don't wait, get some sleep.
There is no news.
Bioware is a great team of creators and a the same time a company where PR just do not existing...
A lots of great ideas and some stupid mistakes to spoil everything.
Humans mistakes happens, but when it happen, they need to talk about it with us. Just this. We will forgive mistakes, if someone asks...
Get on all pages , say I'm sorry, give some info and block the crashed file, FGS....

high five mate. indeed, wtf are they doing for so long?
- testing the copy of the file they uploaded, and likely finding that it worked fine.
- Downloading a new copy of the file from the server through regular channels to see if they can duplicate the problem there
- Contacting the people who run the server to find out if the file on their machines is correct or incorrect
- Once they know where the problem occurred (before upload, during upload, during download), looking for what's causing it.
Debugging. It takes time.
Of course, that time should have been taken yesterday, or failing that on Friday, or Thursday, getting everything working ready for the launch day.

Yes, I know of how much better it is in the US, I wasn't talking about that though, I was comparing my plan to his.

(or $32.99 DSL for 200 cap and 46.99 cable 200 cap)
No, I don't work for them. I am just ardently opposed to bandwidth caps.
On the DLC front, it is unfortunate it has been delayed, this isn't the first time with BioWare and I expected it not to be released until after 6pm Eastern due to their track record. A few hours to one day of a delay sucks but isn't the end of the world. A week would be cause for serious questioning of BioWare's ability to test their releases. In the end I just hope it is a fun DLC, whether I play it tonight or tomorrow night.
EDIT: Forgot to pass out cookies to everyone

I haven't said anything as we are working on the issue.
I understand you are all irritated by this, but we want you all to play, so we are working hard to determine and fix whatever is causing this. If I do not come by every 15 minutes to say "Still no news", it is because we are working on this. When we have news, we will let you know.
Really? That's what you've come up with? How long does it really take to find out that the file you've uploaded is full of nothing but 0's? Several people on here have already managed so what is taking a professional games studio so long to find out the same thing? We already know what caused the problem (you uploaded a 1.5gb file full of 0's instead of an actual DLC) and I think most of us have already cottoned onto what the fix is so why haven't you figured it out yet? What you need to do is either find the correct file you were supposed to upload, or compile a new version of the file, and upload it.
Indeed. Seriously, what the hell?
Also I just thought I'd compress the "executable" for the lulz: 225KBytes!

Yeah I got unlimited. Not sure how much I pay (family does it), I think it's in the 30s. Also somewhere in the 12megabit area, it took me 10, max 15 minutes to download the broken DLC file.
