I'm not sure what I think of the scene with Captain Anderson and that one Cerberus personnel, to be honest.Xrissie wrote...
This DLC confirms that Anderson is working with Cerberus and that Matriarch Aethyta is Liara's father. And that korgans like to punch certain reporters too.

So repost of a previous question, which sorta got eaten up by the thread.
With as few spoilers as possible...
In your opinion, for those that played it pre suicide mission, did it still fit into the game well, or would it seem like it would fit better post suicide mission. For those that did it post mission, same thing, did it fit well, or would it seem like it would fit better pre mission..
The empire thanks you for your responses
Yes, fits it very well. Liara mentions about going into the OM4 relay, so now im curious about the dialogue if i play it AFTER the suicide mission
Unfortunately, all the stuff you get at the end is rather worthless for me because I don't do the Legion's recruitment until I've finished all missions and gotten all the upgrades. So if I replay it, I'll be doing it as soon as possible to get any use out of the content afterward.

Bitter much? I find it kind of funny and ironic personally lol
If being bitter is acknowledging the facts, call me bitter mcbitterstein.
I honestly doubt youll get a dev to say anything of the sort until about a month before ME3s release, but LotSB most likely sends a pretty clear message about what to expect from Liara in ME3.
Id be worried if I were a fan of the other characters, because if it turns out to be true, and they are willing to do that to the only truly solid squadmate candidate, I doubt that leaves much hope for any other previous squadmates.
you cant really say one squadmate is more important then another. its only your opinion that liara is the only one true squadmate. i dont consider tali to be too important to my ME universe. just becasue yo like liara doesnt mean everyone else does. like my complete uninterest in tali. i couldnt care less if tali was in ME3 or not.

No Liara = no finding Saren on Ilos. She she pretty much the most important companion in Mass Effect.
IIRC the only other companion who is important to the main plot is Tali with the evidence she gets.

No Kaiden/Ashley = No foolishly approaching alien technology to allow Shepard to step in and take the hit, instead leaving the fate of the universe to some poor transport tech.

4. Does the Illusive Man actually talk to you, or does he just e-mail you?
That would require getting Martin Sheen, which is probably out of the budget for a DLC. Bioware probably try to keep these things relatively in-house, using voice actors they have a continuous relationship with. Mark Meer and Jen Hale have been in a ton of Bioware/VG stuff, same as Ali Hillis. Others, like Carrie-Anne Moss, Yvonne Strahovski, and Keith David, while not huge stars, probably require a bit more resources to acquire. I don't even think they've used Seth Green in DLC (remember that horrid computer voice in BDtS?), and he seems the kind of guy that would probably do it just for his love of Sci-Fi (and a realitively low wage, of course).

Maybe that's a reference to Retribution, where he and Kai Leng are tracking Paul Grayson?

And shep would have eventually found Illos on his own anyway. She really is a secondary character in the grander scheme of things.

Wait...what? The Shep I used did that as well, but nothing was mentioned. When was it brought up?

Krogan punching the news report was full of win
TIM sleeps with like several different hot women PER WEEK!! I want to be the new TIM.
I love how Bioware is tracking you if you cheat. I can't wait to see what Ash/Kaiden have to say about Shepard.
