Absolutely agree. Once upon a time I thought they uploaded this data in advance to the MS servers (or their own) and then just opened the floodgates at a certain time according to their server clock so they could do all this crap while they have more pressing business... such as a comfortable nights sleep.

I believe thats a little misleading, Ive never been one to complain about that really, but its just plain annoying.

There's always the issue of accidental early access. Technical glitches can cause content to be leaked early unintentionally. Safer to just wait until they get to work on release day, really.

I just hope people pay attention closely to the last one, we already have enough "Will Liara be a squadmate now?" threads/questions, as it is, despite Bioware saying there will be no more.

Seems with todays technology, they could set it up to be released depending on the time zones, so the peeps in Britain and western Europe would get it on the date specified instead of the next day

As I said, it would be convenient, true to their word, and nice.

ill have defend the devs on this one... i never release my work late in the day.. always check-in my code first thing in the morning so errors are fixable cos you are fresh

Its funny how people think telling the fanbase EXACTLY what they really want to say is a bad thing.

If they said, "We really want to make sure that everything is right before we give the all go."
