No actually. Instead I saw her talking to a Krogan and then he layed her out with a massive falcon punch!

And for the record I paragon'd charmed through both my conversations with her. Maybe your actions affect what you see?

Don't know if someone found this already or it is just my problem. Replaying the DLC I can't use the renegade answer when SPOILERS the spectre take the girl as hostage END SPOILER. It's strange because my character is full renegade. Is it a known problem? What should I do? It's not a gamebreaking bug of anything, just strange

A lovely piece of DLC, well done Bioware.



Thoroughly enjoyed the wonderful banter between Liara and Shep, which made me laugh often, as well as the general interaction with Liara. I romanced Liara and then Tali, and have to say, when Liara accused me of getting under Tali's helmet I felt really guilty! The chase scene was excellent as well, made a nice change from all the combat. I will definitely have another playthrough with a Liara only shep, to see what changes!



If I had a criticism, it was the lack of voices from other squad mates. I had Garrus and Tali in my team, and surely they would have said hello, at the very least? Also, missed opportunity for a confrontation between Liara and Tali, in my case. It felt funny when Tali, after I had invited Liara in for a drink, didnt ask me what was going on. Even though it was chaste, surely she would have been interested? In a game where the characters are king, like this one, its a shame that such opportunities weren't exploited.



Only other thing, it was rather combat heavy. This isnt a criticism as such, as it was still excellent. Still, I would like another few missions like Thane's loyalty mission, that had little combat. Surely not every mission needs to end with a gunfight.



But overall, excellent.

I had the same issue as well. Level 30, full paragon, and the option to select the charm dialogue was unavailable.

OMG... they make the DLC's better than the overall ME2 gameplay:o

There are 3 sets of video's, if you leave the station and return you can see ther others

Having a full renegade bar is not necessarily a qualifier to get a renegade response.

Either a. It's bugged.

or b. It's affected by the persuasion system.

Yeah I'm pretty sure it's the persuasion system, because I got the "Charm" dialog option with the hostage with about 80% paragon and 20% renegade.

I did my first playthrough with my full paragon character and I could choose the paragon option. Don't know how to fix the issue.

I've beaten it twice, definitely the best Mass Effect 2 DLC I've played. Possibly the BEST DLC pack I've played period. You definitely get much more out of the DLC with a character who romanced Liara. The conversation with Liara aboard the Normandy was probably my favorite part, and I understand how it was fan service. Now I want to know what happens in Mass Effect 3 with the Reapers and the Love Interests.

Agreed.

I took Garrus with me to the Shadow Broker's lair, and I enjoyed how the SB mentioned that Garus = Archangel and that he had a bounty still.  It was a nice touch to add to the realism.

That moment makes replaying the DLC worthwhile.

There's one for taking Liara to the Normandy--which in my case was the romance scene, not sure what it'd be if you happen to be "just friends"--and one for checking out all of the terminals in the Shadow Broker's base after the mission's over and Liara takes over, which shouldn't even be an achievement, really, you just go around and check out everything until the achievement blips. Both take place after the mission's end and are non-achievements, really. I assume you got the plot-based achievements and "The Hard Way," yes?
