it's not a technical problem, it's supposed to happen. It means they don't have to record dialog for all the little videos.

Thanks, I was curious about how some knew, Anderson was speaking to a Cerberus agent, unless there is a really noticable logo somewhere. (haven't seen it, for myself yet, & wanted to know what to look/listen for)

Its a guy wearing the casual Cerberus outfit with a logo

I loved this exchange:

Liara: So what are you fighting for Shepard? A chance to give Miss vas Normandy a homeworld?

Shepard: Tali is important to me.

Liara: Yes, I know. She has been awestruck of you since she joined the Normandy two years ago.

Shepard: You could have told me.

Liara: And ruin the fun of you two finding out? I hope you two find happiness.

And just like that, Liara became one of my top 5 favorite characters!:wizard:

Loved the DLC, highlights for me were the references bioware threw in really added to the awesomeness especially reusing some of the squad dialogue, Last boss fight was awesome I got to take my widow to the shadow broker like a base-ball bat, didn't romance Liara but still had a great time with her character during the DLC.

Now maybe bioware can start on an Ash/Kaidan DLC.

i wish i really do Posted Image

And once again a sentence or two is apparently far too difficult to put in for those of us that romanced Ashley or Kaidan.....our "closest friends."...

<_<

Okay that's my one snarky comment. Because I love this dlc.;)

I'm sure they're Ashley/Kaidan DLC as we speak. Ashley is one of my favorite characters, and my Fem!Shep wants her Kaidan back.

Hello, this is my very first post here. I hope to become a regular poster.

I may be wrong, but in one of the video archive videos it's Khalisah
al-Jilani (the reporter) kissing an asari. I think the asari is the
asari council member. Anyone else notice this? If I'm wrong, I'm sorry

I absolutely loved it. A beautiful coda to ME2, massive kudos to the writers and, well all devs involved really. Things I especially loved:

1. Cab chase - such a cool change of pace and I could never get bored of Illium skyline

2. The continuity of choices - I got references to Akuze, my Council and Rachni decisions, relationships of course, the suicide missions success - it completely felt like the Shepard I've been playing for nearly three years

3. The Spectre Ultra Vanguard v Spectre Ultra Vanguard on Insanity was totally brilliant - biotic charging at each other across the plaza...

4. The level design of the exterior of the SB ship. Stunning. The clouds, the ship engines, the way shockwave and pull sent SB minions into the distance. Really evoked the Citadel Tower exterior battle from ME1

5. A chance to talk about Shepard's feelings with a friend. I'd romanced Liara and got the paragon interrupt meaning we kissed... then we talked and I told her I wanted to be friends (and stay with Miranda) - more emotionally torn than I have ever been in a game.

6. The dossiers and the videos - Anderson and the Cerberus officer... and Hackett's dosier. For some reason I'm fascinated by the politics and discussions within the Alliance regarding Shepard's death and Cerberus connect. This gave some nice background.

As many people have said, what I would love to see next is an Alliance DLC featuring the VS, Kasumi's mysterious info and a final showdown with Cerberus.

Finally, I love how, for me - post SM, this explains how I'm going to keep the Normandy running, equipped, crew paid etc now I've given TIM the finger. A great launch pad for future DLC.

I just finished it now. Although it wasn't as emotionally moving as the climax to the Overlord quests. It was still the best DLC bioware has ever released ever.

Such a climactic anding and then the Shadow Broker? Man he looked freaking awesome! That is possibly the coolest alien design ever. When I first saw his silhouette I was thinking: Oh lord they're going to make him an Ogre from DA:O? What the hell and then got a closer look and was just . . . oooooo coooooool.

But that DLC seemed so summy uppy to me that bioware are going to be hard pressed to make another story that seems relevant and as entertaining.

Has anyone seen the conversation (or know of a video) when you breakup/cheat on Liara? I heard she yells at you and/or takes you back.

Edit: Also did anyone playing as "just friends" Shepard find Liara having a piece of your armor in her living room like a trophy  kind of creepy? I mean as my main femshepard it is sweet and heartbreaking, but as my other non-canon shepard it's a bit weird to find. .like finding out a secret crush on you has like a shrine to you in their locker weird.

The mental image of what TIM's face must have been when he found out exactly who the new Shadow Broker was is something that makes me smile.

Also, I noticed something in all the Cerberus info. Along with all the amazing assassinations (Injecting Radium into someone's office chair?!) Cerberus is also responsible for the Kassa Locus 'Gun That Killed Two Presidents' incident.

Really, with the whole Cerberus info log, Overlord, and Retribution...HOW is anyone still on Cerberus' side anymore?

That's what I've heard too. No video is up yet on youtube, but it's only a matter of time.

This is the hard part im anticipating with my game. I romanced Liara in ME1, and was a bit of a man**** in ME2, hitting on kelly, tali, jack, and ultimately hooking up with miranda. Liara's coldness turned me off to her ("oh, youre going to go off on that suicide mission probably never see me again? well, i'm not coming, and even more, im really too busy to take a last chance to talk to you, but could you go check on these security terminals for me?"- biggest disappointment in ME2 for me).. So now ive gotta decide... do i want to stay with Miranda, or go back to Liara.... i like them both. Where's the threesome option when you need it.

What I found the most surprising about this DLC was the fact that we learned more about the characters from their respective dossiers than we did actually talking to them in game. Garrus' family issues, Jack's abduction, Samara's tragic goodbye to her daughters, Tali's "bodily experiments"; they all provided wondeful insights to the characters we love.

My only complaint was that the Broker had no information on either Liara or the Virmire survivor.

Sorry to interrupt your discussion, but has anyone noticed the trailer for the Blasto movie during the car chase?
I lost that damn car I've been chasing, because I was too busy laughing.

Ha! My Shep was also a bit of a player in ME2 ("I'd do more that catch you Kelly!"), but I figured he was newly alive and somewhat scarred by the experience. He fell for Miranda with the "You'll die for that ****" line and subsequent biotic attack.

I really liked the Liara part of ME2, as it heighted the fact he was disassociated from the galaxy after this two year absence. I liked that I had a dialogue option when he loses his temper and calls Liara out for her petty vendetta's. Again there's a great dig at her about hacking terminals in the DLC.

I'm not clear whether if I'd gone back to Liara whether the 'invite Miranda up' option would disappear, terminated the relationship... Big stuff for a DLC.

Woa! The video's have all changed on the ship! Anderson's in a firefight on the citadel. Is each one gonna tell a mini story?

I really appreciate the Uncharted 2-inspired (which was adventure film-inspired) banter. I have to imagine there was internal debate as to whether they should have Sheperd speak lines that the player did not prompt him to say, but it worked out and really ratcheted up the feeling of being in the moment.

Stick with that, BioWare. Look for as many opportunities as possible  to lock in a specific character or characters for a mission and then go nuts with the banter between him or her and Sheperd. It's fantastic.

I just finished this DLC and LOVED it! Fantastic storytelling, breathtaking and gorgeous artwork (Illium and the Shadow Broker's ship), and terrific dialogue. Anyhow, just wanted to post how much I loved this DLC.

My only negative comment about it is that it ended too soon. It seemed that Overlord took me longer but the aforementioned qualities more than made up for the short-length.

About the DLC - LOVED IT! Worth EVERY penny.

As for me - my renegade femshep cheated on Liara with Garrus, but it didn't stop us from rekindling everything. I even brought him to Ilium in the hope of striking sparks, but he was meek as milk as always.

My only regret... the picture stayed down! What gives? But I was going to NG+ her anyway, and then I can stay faithful :-)

My time to shine. I like how there are references to ME1 in it. I like legion's gamer profile stats. I don't like Feron because only one drell can be cool enough I even bought the appearance pack to make him better. I liked the romance options in it, short but good.

The wait until the next day parts of the SB lair annoy me but I can deal with it.

I love the omnigel reference.

I absolutely hated that the shadow broker wasn't the biotic god. The battle was great, but it could have been better.
