I must say, it would have been sweet, to be able to do, what Jack did, in the Puragatory footage.
She did a 10-15 foot jump straight up in the air, back-flipped, and landed, with a biotic flash to the ground,  & it looked liked the guards/other prisoners might of been knocked backwards from it.
It reminded me of what Aria did, in the Incursion comic .

I'd have to say, that is the best boss fight, I've had in the ME games.

So, who wants to fight an enemy Infiltrator next? >:3

It wouldn't be as epic without the charge.

Cloaking opponent who could strike from anywhere and use high-powered sniper rifles?  I'd love to do a Sniper duel honestly.

I use the Mattock, so my Sentinel could hold his own.  Speaking of cheap classes, who would want to fight a sentinel?  I can picture the fight now...

Overload, overload, warp, warp.  Watch as enemy sentinel uses tech armor to replenish shields.  Lather, rinse, repeat.

Yeah, a sniper dual sounds much better in comparison.

Wow, this is awesome. I have a lot to say about this DLC so sorry if this gets long winded. ( An probably some spoilers, consider yourselves warned. )

Firstly it must be said this DLC is amazing, easily the best DLC so far. You can tell a lot of work was put into this content and it shows, it's also very much appreciated. I dearly hope you will continue to release DLC like this, and I'm making sure to tell all my friends about it so they can get it themselves and hopefully convince you guys to keep making this wonderful content.

The new gameplay elements were very well done. From the car chases to the environmental damage, I'm amazed you managed to do so much without a completely new patch for the game. All of the big boss battles were unique, different, and a hell of a lot of fun.

The best addition, of course, is Liara herself, specifically as a teammate. Even though she is only available for this single DLC it was awesome having her as part of the team once again. Good call on giving her Singularity as a base power, by the way I would have been disappointed in her if she wasn't the awesome biotic she's always been. On that note Stasis is awesome. It makes me want to build an Adept now that there's this cool new ultimate crowd control available. Playing on my Infiltrator I found it very useful when taking out multiple targets. Putting stasis on one allowed me to kill another and be ready to kill again when it wore off. Once again major awesome. If you're still debating adding it to ME3 then put my vote firmly in the YES column.

The other huge thing for me is all the dialog that got added. From the cinematic smart talk / banter of the car chase to the deep relationship conversations ( and yes a huge reward for those who stay loyal to Liara ;) ) there was clearly a lot of dialog put into this DLC to cover all the options. This more than anything else is truly appreciated. It was a huge deal being able to continue Liara's relationship and being able to talk to her about her behavior. I really want to see more of this as much as possible. The lack of dialog particularly amongst crew members new and old has always been an issue of ME2, and it's always nice to see more of it being addressed through DLCs like this.

Really I could go on with the things I liked, but that will just involve pretty much talking about every second of this DLC. I think the top faves above should be helpful. So with that in mind let me mention a few of the things that I didn't like in this DLC, although keep in mind all of these dislikes are pretty tiny compared to all the good things that this came with.

I mentioned above how much I loved the added dialog and character development that you put in here. However I still need to point out this only involved people directly involved in this DLC, in particular Shepard and Liara. Everyone else involved gets nothing. Specifically there is only one line in the entire DLC - at the bombing - spoken by any of your other squadmates and even that was probably just reused audio. I had Garrus and Tali with me ( who lets face it, HAD to come along for this one ) and I wanted them to say something about this whole ordeal with their former crewmate. Instead they remained completely silent yet again.

That said I understand all too well the limitations of the development cycle. So while there was not as much actual dialog as I would have wanted the fact that so many great character insights were provided in the dossiers and the videos in the Broker's base was a great and very welcome treat. I still would have preferred learning all this from actual conversation options with the crew, but as consolation prize of sorts it is very much appreciated.

One detail that kept bugging me and probably could have been addressed was the constant assumption that Shepard was fully working with Cerberus. A lot of people blew up the base rather then continue working with them, a lot of people don't like the idea that we're still forcibly tied to this organization. I was given the impression that once you tell the Illusive Man off you're no longer working with Cerberus anymore. But once again Cerberus are the ones that give you the Shadow Broker intel, and throughout the game your ties with Cerberus are brought up over and over again. The Spectre Vasir says as much quite bluntly and never once can you say you've cut ties to the organization, that's one option that most definitely should have been included in my mind.

Are we going to be stuck with Cerberus from now on? What about ME3? This is going to get extremely frustrating if we never get the choice in this matter. Considering how important your choices are in this game, this is quite a letdown.

Lastly one issue I ran into is with the hostage negotiation scene with Vasir. There are renegade and paragon options to resolve the situation but I was never allowed either option. My renegade bar was maxed out by this point but still I wasn't able to pick anything. Requiring a high renegade or paragon choice is one thing, but this just seems way too high if you need a paragon/renegade score that is literally off the charts to pick either one. Granted the renegade option to shoot Vasir through the hostage was pretty badass, but still it's annoying that I didn't get the option when I feel I should have.

Well that's all I need to say for now. I could go on gushing about this awesome DLC, but you guys get the idea. Keep up the great work. I really look forward to whatever you come up with next!

The boss fight with the Broker was awesome. HATED the one with Vasir though. She just wouldn't die. Ended up needing the Cain.

Anybody have dialogue regarding the SB's remarks on Shepard's second crew member? I brought Garrus along and the SB mentioned something about collecting the bounty on his head.

I'm interested in what he has to say about the other characters, but I don't want to replay the mission 11 more times. =p

I brought Zaeed. The broker said the Blue Suns would pay a handsome bounty for Mr. Massani's body.

Great Dlc I like how Liara became the shadow broker (we all know that will be a big deal in mass effect 3) I do really want an Ashley Dlc now since i never cared much for Liara in Mass effect 1. Either way I know this was the first Dlc that starts to fill the gap between 2 and 3 so really excited for more Dlc to come!!!

I brought Thane along, SB said something like this: Bringing an assassin was a skewered idea. I'll make sure to give Mr. Krios' son my regards.

Brought Miranda along. SB thanked Lira for bring Shepard and Ms. Lawson. Killing them both would shut down Cerberus.

I was somewhat disappointed with this DLC. I thought Overlord was much better and much more compelling. I never understood why people liked Liara, but nonetheless I was happy to see her get her time in the spotlight.

Some issues - no tough decisions, obvious plot, corny ending (Liara "feels" as if she needs to be the Shadow Broker? Does she even know the kinds of things he did? It seems as if she would have to end up doing a few dastardly deeds in her tenure as SB. Not only that, but did anyone kind of see the Shadow Broker as less badass than we all originally thought he was? I will say that as TIM's main rival, TIM far outmatches him in the "cool" and "enigmatic" departments.

Really enjoyed the post-mission hub of the SB ship and the information on each squad mate's extranet searches, etc. I still think Overlord was better overall, though.

PS - I brought Kasumi and he said something along the lines of thanking me for bringing her, because her graybox is extremely valuable. Something like that.

PPS - Did anyone find the voice acting less enthusiastic in most cases? After the bomb went off at that office building the wounded civilians sounded completely half assed in their attempts to sound wounded.... not only that, but the dialogue with the Shadow Broker himself was extremely bland for such an "enigmatic" character... and what was with Shepard constantly saying things to Liara like "OK I SEE THAT!" "YEAH GOT IT!" when she was telling him to watch out, etc ??

Yes --- I enjoyed the apartment crime scene followed by the chase. Illum made for a great background of such things  --- the Shadow Broker's ship and the affects within the level were also spot on.

I do have a problem with  Shadow Broker however, I didn't find the dialouge deep nor entertaining... in some cases.

Sure I don't mind some smart talk... and the sarcasam here and there...

However when it came down to  Shepard and Liara... it was very  2 dimensional at best...and some of things he was made to say were just down right awful.  I mean really...   "  So what do you see in our future?"  ---  " Gee --- I donno... marriage... and a bunch of blue babies walking around!"

Ok. So we have College Frat Shepard at the end of the day.  Not to mention the whole  " Listien here T'Soni!"   So we are also at a last-name basiss too.

I'm sorry, the dialouge, and the person who wrote it was sub standard in that regard. Its like a mind of 10 year old wrote the Li portion of it and someone thought it was hilarious.

Having mentioned the dismal dialouge... the rest was great.  No problems what so ever. It was a very good DLC.

On the other hand --- did you all get to look into the Dossier files on your crew members?  I hope there's more videos in the collection too as it continues... that one with Aria was brutal.

I had Tali. SB commented on her getting her team killed on Haestrom. She spent the boss fight unconscious, but it's okay, Shep whacked SB good a few times for her. ;)

I can't agree to that --- Overlord was more or less --- Shooter-ville than anything else. Next to nill dialouge except for the ending portions.

Then I have this problem with him putting strange Protheon artifacts in his room when he doesn't quite understand what its meant to do. For all you know he just put another beacon on his ship again that the reapers can track...did not get schooled the first time?

Anyone know if you get anything extra in other dossiers? Like for the characters you romanced? I got one in Thane's, but I haven't checked any others yet.

I have to agree with the rest though, it would seal up loose ends if you then made a Ashley/Kadien DLC... or put it in ME3.

I had Tali with me to fight the Shadow Broker. He was brutal to her saying he was surprised Liara brought the Quarian given that her supposed leadership got almost her entire squad killed on Haestrom. I love Tali, but she is much better as a squadmate than a squad leader. Always had great luck with her as a squadmate.

Well... another slight comment....

It appears that Bio Ware has become timid. Why couldn't they have made another Li scene worth a hay in LOTSB --- like they did in ME1? C'mon folks --- Dragon Age gets away with near murder...whats up with the Rated G+ stuff? You got all the right labels on the darn thing --- loosen the ropes. You would think after 2 years and keeping himself for the woman --- would have had a more...you know--- explosive re-kindling...at least something that topped Miranda's scene!

By the way...anyone think its hilarious that even after you get back with Liara that you can still call up Kelly Chambers?
