Off to play with my Vanguard Shep now. I can't wait to give that Asari Spectre a taste of her own medicine!

Played w/ my Vanguard last night.  That was so f***ing cool!! Had a couple of head on collisions where we stormed straight at each other.  The SB fight was cool and unique, but the Asari Vanguard was just so sweet.

There is one bit that kinda stinks with the DLC...  I felt... biotically powerless during the cutscenes between Vasir and Liara going biotic awesome.  Why can't Biotic Shepard do awesome stuff?

Yeah, I know.  I hate how BW deals w/ Shep's biotics.

Kaiden: I killed him, Shepard.  I killed my biotic instructor for hurting my girlfriend.
Shepard: I know.  I was standing right there when you did it.
Kaiden: Really? I guess these L2s really mess w/ your head.
Shepard: Obviously. (walks off)

Liara: Not tonight, Shepard.  I have a small case of ... biotic neural itch.
femShep: So do I, but it's not slowing me down. Come on, please?
Liara: Good night Shepard. Go to sleep.
femShep: Grrrrr.

Loved this DLC, played it last night. The best DLC I've played for either ME or DA. More DLC like this would be ace!

One thing that I would like to see out of future DLCs is more dialouge out of your squadmates not just shep.  I kinda found it weird with them just standing around speechless while something monumental is happening right in front of them.

I got a nice 'Keelah' from Tali and when the Shadow Broker mentioned Archangel, Garrus cocked his pistol :D

Now I'm wondering if the others have lines as well. It's worth the replay alright! But my Shepard doesn't have any ME2 LIs so I'll get my fix for that from YouTube.

its a great DLC, a little short tho. how come bioware can make huge add ons to dragon age but not for ME? is it easier to make a 10 hour add on with dwarfs and ogres then a 2 hour add on for ME? the big thing you take away from LOTSB is that liara is awesome. shes you canon LI in my books whether you like her or not, its sortof just setup that way. adding the car chase and the 2 bosses is what made this DLC stand out more then liara tho. its variety in gameplay that makes me interested and giving my more cover and shooting isnt exaclty what i wanted.

now that bioware has shown its new fans how awesome liara is what they were missing out on in ME1, id really like to see one staring wrex. even tho its an impossible option for DLC id just like to to see what abilities youd give him.

if bioware takes what they have in ME2 and just adds an engaging even if its been done before story, then itll probably become the so called "best game ever" the combination of ME1 and ME2 make a great series start, but i really think bioware is gonna blow my ****ing socks off with ME3.

what Bioware showed me as new fan of ME is they do not give a freaking dam about the ME 2 characters and the story of ME 2 and if they did then we would be getting ME 2 related DLC. but oh no tthats not what is going to happen ME 2 DLC is going to be a bunch of ME 1 character story garbage.  Liara is pathetic and i am glad she is a bit player in ME 2. characters like Grunt or Legion and even zaeed as well kasumi could use some dlc so we could learn more about them. as far as characters that need a dlc from ME 1 that would be Wrex . at least he is a real bad a**

Note to Bioware: This DLC has permanently burned a "Buy Collector's Edition" tag into my brain for any future Mass Effect products.

Well, seeing Witch Hunt makes me happy I prefer the ME series. Awakening was a total mess anyway.

Yeah, like that Shepard person who did all that lame stuff in ME1 with all those stupid people.  F*ck that noise.  Why is that loser even in ME2?  The whole game shoulda been, like, Miranda and TIM punching Reapers in the daddy-bags and taking over the galaxy and holding public executions of anyone who had a line of dialogue in ME1.  That would have been f*cking amazing!

Did anyone think the DLC bos fights where a little 'cut and paste' and by that I meen they did not fit in with the playing style of the rest of the game.

If anything, wouldn't 'cut and paste' mean they were just copies of every other boss fight rather than something unique and different?  Just sayin'.

I feel happy ME2 gets a non-f-ed up dlc (I prefer the ME series) unlike DA and Witch Hunt (shudder). I actually spent close to 4 hours doing everything and enjoying myself while I blazed through Witch Hunt in 1 1/2 hours flat. Of course the price was different but does 3 bucks really make such a difference in length and quality? WH felt cheap, LotSB felt part of the original game and improved over it. I need to replay it now.

Agreed! LotSB was just full of awesomeness from the moment it started, without a single prob being encountered by myself. Superb Bioware! I dont know why WH was so, so inferior?  I have found this, with all DA:O dlc when compared to its ME counterpart. I dont know why that is though? If one series must have superior dlc though, I am glad its the ME series. It is such a shame though because Mass Effect aside, DA:O was one of the best games Ive ever played. One of the big things that stood out in LotSB was Bioware's attention to detail and the beautiful new areas/scenary.  WH felt rushed together, as if 'lets just bang additional content out, to keep 'em happy'.? I for one would have been happy to wait longer for the DA dlc, and not sacrificed quality. What other reason could Bioware have other than timing and so much on at the moment??

They were a refreshing change of pace.  The Shadow Broker battle was a little over the top, but it was enjoyable nonetheless.  I didn't realize he could break your cover on my first run (Engineer) because he was too busy playing with my drone.

I thought the boss fights were a highlight. The way Stasis had an impact in both boss battles was a nice change if you ask me. It added a little something other than simply "whittling down defense bars", which is the playing style of the rest of the game. Because of that, I thought it was a good addition.

It should be a template for ME3. Instead of forcing heavy weapons on everyone, Id much rather see power based players be able to impact fights more like using stasis did in LotSB. Itd be nice to give power based players more ways to express their character in combat as opposed to the kind of herding the player into playing ME2 like Gears of War that ME2 did.

I think SB has a line for every squaddie you bring to meet him. Legio's was, "thanks for bringing me the Geth"

Hmm, so looks like the sarcasm and parody wasn't obvious enough.  Troubling.  Must look into possible solutions.  Possibly, giant jpeg banners with WARNING:  MAY CONTAIN SARCASM AND/OR PARODY.  Investigate effectiveness of Comic Sans font as well.

This DLC really makes me want to romance Liara now lol. I was crossing my fingers even though I rejected her in the first game, maybe there would be second chance. Oh well, it gives me more replay options.

Also, all the bonuses in the Shadow Broker lair is freakin sweet. Re-spec Squadmates and unlocking Special Planets for resources. Very Nice.

Of course the best one was that Krogan punching the annoying reporter. I laughed so hard my sides were hurting when I saw that and watched it at least a half dozen times in a row!

That's what she gets for all those disingenous assertions.^_^

Absolutely LOVED this DLC! Great, great game play and the dialogue with Liara was so perfect I am now conflicted if my Shep should say adios to Tali and get back again with Liara. Well done, Bioware, well done!

This was a greeeeeeat DLC. Dragon Age team.......take notes.

That being said, I have one problem. I can understand it if you do this mission pre-suicide mission but the possible connection you still have with Cerberus, bothers me.

I think it is mentioned earlier but when you talk with the Asari Spectre, she tells you not to judge her and says something about your terrorist friends. The only options are "yes" and "What they needed to do". Where is the option to say "I know what they are and what they have done, that's why I told the Illusive Man to stick it".

thats they only problem I have. Bioware keep it up. If you don't release ME3 until early 2012 then keep up releasing DLC's like this and all will be well.

Is anyone else reading this thread thinking the praise is a little too much for LotSB? Someone said that it was better than the suicide mission... to that I give an emphatic h-e-double hockey sticks no.

I still think Overlord was better in the story aspect, the ending of that DLC was awesome. SB had more humor (dossiers) and also great combat, but ME is about the story. I found the story lacking vs. Overlord.
