Nevermind, i just found the cutscene on youtube. Wow, it was amazing. I so wish I romanced her in ME1 instead of Trashley. Ugh.

You might just change that statement if they make a virmire survivor DLCImage IPB

An excellent piece of DLC. Made me glad I never cheated on Liara with my BeardShepard. The dossiers have to be the most hilarious addition yet. Now I'm properly excited for the next batch of ME2 content.

I definitely agree that this is one of the best ME2 DLCs released and one of the best DLCs ever released.

One question though....

After I beat the game I have blank slot on my squad screen. Is it possible to get Liara as a permanent squad mate?

I've been disappointed with the ME2 dlc's before this one. This one gives me hope.

Very solid addition, can't fault anything really :P

Boy all of these players just waiting to dump their Li's for this or that --- its like a hot sale cake on the Normandy --- their goin' goin' goooooooone.

What next --- some buxom broad from another planet that will be thrown in the mix in ME3 that will make folks space their last Li.

Such loyalty!

I also couldn't help but notice that even with Femshep that Tali was interested in researching human romance and mating, despite not being a romance option for Femshep in ME2.

Just saying...

gotta thank bioware so much not just for the amazing dlc, but for letting me continue the liara relationship. makes staying loyal so much more worth it. i love how powerful the relationship feels, its feels liek so much moret hen just a casual relationship as all the other characters do. it feels like they truely love eachother, good job bioware you did it.

now remember this bioware and make sure she maintains importance and romancebility in the 3rd game. (yes i just made up that word) i wanna make those little blue children they talk about. not that anyone from bioware is probably reading this, but if you are...

So TIM knows both who and where the new shadow broker is now. How long till he tries to have Liara assassinated and take over SB's operation for himself?

Though given SB's penetration of Cerberus, Liara would probably know of such a plan well in advance, its still something to think about.

Yeah the dossiers were unbearably hilarious. I think I scared my parents from laughing too loud. Seriously, Legion is a gamer and he plays Medal of Duty?! Miranda visits dating sites (creepily)? Oh my god, come on! Bioware, you truly made my day.

Something I noticed... The DLC recognizes if you finished the Suicide Mission, and even what the fate of the Collector base is... but the game still does not recognize the fact that Paragon Shepard told Timmay to go soak his head. Why am I still considered a Cerberus lackey? It's even reflected in the dossiers, with Legion's chat with EDI about communicating electronically. Cerberus can go take a long walk off a short pier AFAIC by that point in the game.

"Fall in line or step aside, but don't get in my way." Doesn't get any more clear-cut than that, BW devs.

Finally, FINALLY, I no longer have to rely on Cerberus to fund and support my crew/ship. This DLC was a great bridge into the next game as your character no longer has to rely on a outsider to fund Shepard's mission to save the galaxy from itself.

I was always wondering how Shepard would pay his crew, make sure there families got taken care of, all the logistics of a privateer heavy frigate with ZERO income. Now we have a way to do it, now I understand why we can NOT have Liara as a squad mate. She is now WAY too important a figure in the daily operations of your frigate to have her gallivant about on missions.

Only possible worry left now is possible retribution by TIM against Miranda's sister. Although you even have a way to solve that now, since you have access to the intelligence assets of the Shadow Broker network.

Good job on this DLC Bioware. It really does work as a great start for ME3.

Yeah, I think a lot of the problem of retrubtion from telling Timmay off in a Paragon ending just went up in smoke, since there'd be repercussions of his own that Timmay would have to worry about, since it seems that the previous holder of the Shadow Broker mantle had enough intel to see how many drinks and cigs Timmay had.

I completed a save where I had 2 ppl die in the suicide mission and Liara mentioned that I lost ppl and it gave me an option to say it hurt or they were heroes. I thought that was a nice touch.

FANTASTIC DLC. Well done, Bioware! I mean, I'm awestruck at how much content was crammed into the game. Tons of new areas, a crime-scene investigation, a high-speed car chase, two epic boss fights, possible romance (or acknowledgment of another love interest), and those VERY entertaining, very dense dossiers and video files.

I honestly loved the post-DLC content at the Shadow Broker's base more than the path there. There were so many funny, emotional, and subtle moments in those text files.

I was laughing hard at Legion's gamer profile (and his 3 day ban for taunting), Miranda checking out online dating (and getting hit on by the romancing Krogan), Tali's frequent install, uninstall, and reinstall of "Nerve-Stims Programs" (in line with her research on human mating practices), Grunt's research on humans, books, dinosaurs, and sharks, Garrus's "kill people" music list, Kasumi's Haiku of Jacob, Jack's emo poetry.... I could go on.

But at the same time, it revealed shocking insights into my team as well. Miranda's inability to have children, Jacob's letter from his missing father, Tali's grieving and reading about how to "cope with loss" and sending a dead friend's parents a letter, the realization Garrus's mother is dying and his sister hates him, Samara's last conversation with her other two daughters.... wow, powerful stuff. Very powerful.

And then there were the vids of our favorite reporter being punched, kicked, and snogging Asari. That made me laugh so hard.

I loved this DLC so much that I've just bought another 1600 BW points. DA stuff is apparently bugged all to hell, so maybe it's Overlord for me next then.

Ah, this was excellent. Beats Overlord, Stolen Memory, and even the bulk of the main game any day of the week.

The reveal of the Broker's identity was well executed. Would never have thought of a species I didn't know existed!

Though I will say that I saw Liara becoming the Broker before I even started it. It was the only way they'd keep her out of the Suicide Mission, so it's cool.

Didn't see the romance scene though. Will do so second playthrough.

All in all, ****ing amazing. Looking forward to the Virmire Survivor DLC. And I know it'll happen. Gonna be hard to wait though.

Does anyone have a list of the Shadow Broker's lines referencing your other squadmate besides Liara? I had Garrus with me, and he said something like "I see you brought Archangel to me. The bounty on his head remains intact."

Had Grunt. He said "Thank you for bringing okeer's project Shepard...it will be interesting to disect him in the lab"

I loved this, BW listened to our cries. It feels like I've been stuck in Purgatory(Not be confused with a certain prison ship) for almost a year, and now I can party in heaven.

Well just went through the Shadow Broker's ship. Good to be able to chat with Liara and Feron. Lot's of intel their too. I'm gonna have to forget I saw Kasumi's poem about Jacob though. Isn't she still in morning? Anywho the vids were interesting to watch and I'm sure they are going to sprout many threads as to their meaning.

BEST DLC EVER! Great job BW... keep making them like this, and I will gladly pay for it.

Story: Excellent
Graphics: Excellent
Environments: Excellent
Gameplay: Excellent (Vasir boss battle and seeing her use CHARGE was great, especially since I was a Vanguard too!)

My favorite part by far was Liara as a squadmate... I LOVED having her by my side because I always used her in ME1... having her back was great not only for her great powers, but for that nostalgic feeling. PLEASE bring her back as a squad mate in ME3, PLEASE! Oh, and Legion too :)
