Did anyone else feel that the Shadow Broker boss fight was like fighting a Jackal on steroids. The fact that he had a shield that covered his entire mass except for his weapon reminded me of a Jackal. He even gets knocked back a little and drops his shield guard exposing him completley just like Jackals do. The only difference is his massive strength and size, hence "Jackal on steroids".
Absolutely. I cant believe I didnt think about!
It was a nice change from the rest of the combat in both ME2 and the DLC.

I LOVED THE CAR CHASES and the squad dialogue in the mission. That kicked ass. Great movies, great everything. Kick ass stuff. :-)

A few other points. I really got the sense that Liara moved on. That Shepard was a part of her past. She actually seemed to show more emotion for Feron. I guess she doesn't want to be a "cop's wife." I was also surprised that there wasn't more concern for the injured people at the Transit Terminal. Even worse if you go to pick up a PDA from a body thinking you might get some intel and instead you just loot the corpse. Really, looting corpses gotta stop for ME3, it's unbecoming.
Also an interesting realization for me is that it's not really that Shepard is such a bad-ass hero, that he is so much better at being a Specter than anyone else, rather it's that he has a bad-ass squad with formidable abilities. One on one Tela Vasir would have wiped the floor with him. I mean...Charge AND shockwave? Forgettaboutit! Why after loosing shield + armor she kept fighting when she could have gotten away I'll never understand.

My two cents on the DLC is it is great as far as I can play. I have never done well at anything that requires flying or driving. Because of that I've been stuck at the flying part for a dozen attempts. I would like to see a patch that basically keeps Varis from moving out of range. Until then I will have to wait until one of the step-sons comes into town to finish it.
if your playing the PC version, the mouse controls the direction of the car and just hold down the space bar for speed. simply follow her the best you can and it should be a cake walk.

I don't know if this has been asked already, but does anyone know who Fred Mazzei is (from the video archive on the Shadow Broker base)
He's Elias Kelhem's (sp) Lawyer from the interrogation.

He was Elias Kelham's advocate during Thane's loyalty mission.

I also like how I was right about the Shadow Broker being a new race. The species looks incapable of much intelligence, however.

This was the best DLC I have played in like, forever.

Frankly the Yahg look like a worse threat than the Krogan. They are twice their size and ferocity, and have the potential intelligence of a Salarian. I could see them being an indocrinated race for ME3, like the Rachni.

Shadow Broker was great to fight. Though it could've been better if the melee parts weren't entirely cutscene-y. Something undeniably satisfying watching Shepard knock somebody around with his fists, better yet, a giant friggin' monster.
Also the yahg's look/are AWESOME. I wonder if they're all like that, because if so, the krogan just got knocked off the top of the pyramid. Speaking of which, the Spectre fight was pretty cool as well. Mostly though it makes me feel like a badass killing yet another OP'd biotic Spectre. That should be an achievement as well as a conversation in ME3, that is, with someone who actually knows Spectre's.
I think Feron was trying to one-up Thane when he disappeared in the half second the lights were off.
Also I thought it was quite amusing that Shepard ignored injured people, looted corpses, hacked someones credits in their own room while he was crouched terrified for his life, and stole money right out of the bank. Not that I'm overly against it like some might be, I realize it's a game, it's just funny though.

I was kinda hoping for a hand to hand fight with SB ala mgs4 on top of the sub. I don't think sheps cqc skills have been showcased enough.
Yeah, and at the end they give each other medi-gel and beat on each other some more.

Car chase - really fun, especially the Liara/Shep banter "Truck." "ISEE it!". The dossiers - loved them (Miranda...a dating service? hilarious. Her medical report - not so much).
But what strikes me is this. The heart and soul of this DLC (and Bioware RPGs in general), was the interaction between Liara and Shep. The dialog, the conversations - these are the things hat make these games so intriguing, so engaging. And, if you read the threads about LotSB - it's what people talk about the most.
ARE YOU LISTENING TO THIS CASEY? Mr. "we're trying to get away from dialog".

Seriously... look at them. They have batarian eyes, a build somewhere between a krogan and a volus, the top of their heads resemble a salarian's a little, etc.

Are you serious?
Shall we just change the name of the franchise to "Gears Effect" while we're at it? <_<

Anyone else notice in all cutscenes where we see Biotic squad members kicking butt that they exhibit Biotic powers that you don't get to use. Pretty sure Liara showed Push/Throw, pull and Biotic shields in her cutscenes.

It must be availability of the voice actors not money that keeps squadmates quiet during DLC missions. I was actually surprised when I herd Samara speak a sentence at the Transit Terminal building explosion.
Those are just dialogue taken from the main game. There are no unique files for any squadmate in the DLC packages.
