I loved the dialog back at Normandy. Finally a real a friend who wasn’t afraid to ask about Shepard’s feelings. I missed such conversation in ME2 where Shepard could express all her frustration about the post-resurrection mess. Well done!
The last conversation with the Asari Spectre was nice and so true! And somebody remembered Akuze. I’m surprised as it seemed that Shepard completely forgot about her first encounter with Cerberus.
After watching the romantic reunion with Liara at youtube I must say that it is (in my opinion) the best ‘love scene’ in ME2, mostly because of touching dialog.
And finally I’m happy that my Shepard learnt how to sit properly in a dress. Small detail but most appreciated.
My only hope is that the continuation of the Kaidan/Ashley story will be held with the same care and quality.

After playing it once, there was just one thing that really bugged me about this. When the Asari Spectre took the hostage on Illium, I was given the dialogue choices, but both the paragon and renegade choices were greyed out. Renegade I could understand, I barely touched those, but my Paragon score was maxed and beyond. Is there something I'm missing here?
You must have a full paragon score to "ungrey" the paragon choice (or full renegade to ungrey renegade choice).
Then either the DLC adds some extra points to gain, and I didn't get those somehow, or choosing every single Paragon option in the main game isn't enough.

There are a couple of paragon points to be gained in Lair. I think I got two of them beyond the full bar I had from the original game, and it was ungreyed for me. For teh record btw, it's about as un-paragon of a thing to say as it gets, lol. "You think I'd hesitate for a hostage?! Come on?!" Lol, evilest paragon response ever (I'm paraphrasing of course, but still).

There is no point to waiting until after the SM because all those sweet, sweet upgrades won't do you any good anymore.

Gameplay-wise = Better to do PRE-suicide mission
Story-wise = Better to do POST-suicide mission

What are the investment opportunity? From the description they seem like they could be n7 misions.
There are ten (known) Investment Opps, each require a certain investment to be made with potentially greater rewards, details at http://masseffect.wi...t_Opportunities (warning this includes the outcomes of each). They become available in batches of 4, 4 and 2. Of course one of the PC users may have done some digging to see if there are more in the DLC that unlock later, but I haven't seen any posts to this effect.

I feel we were greatly lied to about this DLC being better to play after the suicide mission. There are a lot of benefits that you simply don't get after the suicide mission. I played LotSB in a new play-through by making it the very first thing I did after Horizon and by returning to the shadow broker base after every single mission I have managed to get 4 more weapon upgrades for the AR, SR, SMG and SG respectively. Combine that with the Pistol and Damage Resistance upgrades you find while playing the main LotSB mission and all my weapons and armor are now vastly superior. Aside from that the final conversation with Liara aboard the SR2 was also a lot better than if the suicide mission had been completed.

Unless they release more DLCs. However, I agree with you for the most part. On my future play throughs I will definately not wait until post SM to do this DLC, but less because of upgrades (I never felt there was a lack in the main game) and more because of the ability to respec crew skill points.

To put it simply, it's a matter of preference. That is to say:
Gameplay-wise = Better to do PRE-suicide mission
Story-wise = Better to do POST-suicide mission
It's a gimmick to increase the replayability of the main game! I've just started a insanity run to make use of the hub's resources and upgrades, but I intend to postpone talking to Liara until post suicide mission to get the best out of this DLC.

As I stated before, the karma check doesn't work on an absolute karma value, it works on karma points versus how many karma point opportunities you've had so far. It checks all karma opportunities as they go by and each one just doesn't tally karma points, it also trakcs how many points you didn't get as well. That's why ME1 import games never have a problem with the really high checks; they had a head start and probaly had a karma level that exceeded the "max current possible" in either one way or the other.
Are you on a ME1 import? ME2 imports don't transfer karma, for some reason, so you start off completely neutral.

Sure, the upgrades are great but I did the suicide mission just yesterday, before I played LOTSB, and I must say that my Infiltrator really did not require any more upgrades. Some time ago I saw people writing about how the collectors are nothing more than clip-vending-machines and not real antagonists. And they are, if you take all the time in world to prepare for them. It could be argued that every hour you spend on preparation for the SM, more humans are liquified, although this is not reflected in the game. I prefer thinking of LOTSB as a post SM event - to me it simply feels better that way. Of course, if someone wants a faster or easier SM run, then they should do LOTSB first.

I was on an ME2 import of an ME1 import, so I guess that explains that. Still strange way to go around things.

totally worth it! Ahhhhh!
Shepard vs. Vasir? HELL YEAH! I felt like the ultimate badass going vanguard to vanguard with her.....
Shadow Broker..... WTF was that thing???!
The ship- best background ever!
I see why people love the dialogue during the car chase.....
-truck!
- I know!
Ahhhh...... I cannot wait to replay this on my Liara LI run Post SM......
I saw the romance scene on youtube, but I'm glad a Non LI could still have Liara come to the SR2 and support you
I think the "I'm frustrated" dialogue between Shep and Liara is the best

In the scene of Liara assuming control of the network, the music is (partially) the Alien Queen track (Noveria battle). Ominous.

Yeah, it is. BioWare said that.

I thought your ME2 import for ME3 would only contain the data up to and during the SM. I didn't think anything you did post SM would be stored. Does anyone know for sure about this? I don't want to put off the new DLC til after the SM and then not have that data imported with my Shep.
You can import any (post sm) save to me3, as you can import any save in a ng+ in me2.

Yeah, I noticed there was some old ME1 music in bits of the DLC, possibly when you're talking with Liara after defeating the SB as well? Not sure though, will have to play it through again!

I've heard that there is a fourth interrupt, but only last for like half a second, if true when does it show up.
After you hug her she starts to talk about how it has been 2 years and it flashes up then. Since I am not quick with my reflexs I tend to start spaming the left trggier button(360 version) to make sure I do nto miss it. I like the added feel from it.
Hope that makes sense.
