I actually got more entertainment value from my loyal infiltrator doing it pre sm.

Is there any difference in playing it pre suicide mission, in contrast to post suicide mission?

Pre suicide there is different dialogue with Liara in the normandy scene, and the shadowbroker also has different dialogue.
Post suicide is vice versa, and IMO the dialogue is a lot better.

Loved the non-stop action by the way, the car chase was pretty funny, and the videos at the end...haha, seeing Khalisah al-Jilani getting decked first by the Krogan, then by the Vollus was absolutely priceless.
I hope to see more DLC of such high quality in the future.

Not much that I've noticed. Liara and sb make some off the cuff remarks snouts the collectors if you do it post sm.

Different dialogue....much better pre-sm imo and there are a total of 6 upgrades you can get from this DLC.....two you pick up while playing it and 4 appear on the delivery terminal next to Liara when you return to the broker station between missions. The upgrades are essentially one for each weapon class except heavy weapons and one Damage Protection. If you're a perfectionist like me and always do and collect everything then it is highly imperative to do this DLC as soon as it becomes available once you complete Horizon.

If you didn't have a relationship in ME1 can you start one with Liara with the DLC in ME2?
no

Both boss fights are surprisingly easy, eventhough both set me aback at first - one thing, stasis works magic, especially against that Spectre - stasis > close in > stasis wore off, short immobile > pump her full with Mattock, full clip > repeat until she's dead.

Just answered the poll. My first time thru was on normal and didn't die. Second time was on hardcore and die three times waiting for the doors to open. That fight is comparable to collector platforms. Thank god there weren't any scions
Even in hardcore mode I can go through it without getting killed, the key part at the door would be to exploit the lighting rod for all it's worth! We're talking about area-wide shield neutralizer here! And not to mention pot shots for you to take when they were busy buzzing thanks to the shock, paired with the Mattock rifle it's perfection. That's the case for both a Sentinal and Soldier playthrough.

Have to admit i have a hard time getting the bars full this time around.
Only way I was able to get it full was to imoort a paragon me1 shep and max out the class skill (such as shock trooper, NOT COMMANDO, for a soldier)

I definitely got a response in which he called me a traitor. I only hypothesised in what he's referring too, although to be honest it wasn't clear.
Oh, I know what you're thinking of. Yeah, he says "Enough talk. My operations are too crucial to be compromised by a traitor." Thing is, he always says that: pre-SM, kept the base, destroyed the base. He's also not talking about Shep. You're giving him sh!t for what he did to Feron and why, and he gets fed up with your nonsense. That line is his way of saying "Look: whatever. Dude deserved it. End of story."

How typical of Bioware that we go through all the trouble to help liara and for what? Don't even get to recruit her? Figures!
Well, if you hadn't unrealistically expected she'd be recruitable in the first place, you wouldn't be having this problem. Not really Bioware's fault that you didn't pick up on all the glaringly obvious reasons for her not joining the squad.
And how is this "typical" of Bioware? What other examples of this do you have? I mean, besides all the people you can help in any of their games and not get the chance to recruit. You know, like, almost everybody?
I also like the idea that, ultimately, the only reason one could possibly have for bothering to play Lair is to get a new squadmate. It's like b!tching that you can't unhook David in Overlord and go plug him into the Normandy or whatever.

Is anyone else wondering WTF is up with that vid of Anderson meeting up with a Cerberus agent in the vid archive at the Shadow Broker's base?
Anderson isn't likely to ignore the most powerful human organization with nearly infinite resources no matter what he may personally think of them. Personally I wouldn't be surprised to learn that he too works for Cerberus and always has been.

I would, because he spends a good portion of Retribution arranging for the turians to attack a ton of Cerberus facilities, seize front companies, make mass arrests of their operatives, etc. thereby screwing them way the hell up to the point that it'll take years for TIM and the gang to recover. Plus, we get TIM POV's in the book. Guess what? Anderson doesn't work for them and never has.

One of my biggest complaints lately with a lot of media is that people seem to have forgotten the value and importance of an epilogue to the main story. LotSB does this *perfectly* however, with the only problem being that now I have to wait for more Mass EffectSolitas777 wrote...
I was a bit let down with ME2 with the story and especially in regards to Liara. Well this DLC was frigain amazing! I was so happy with the storyline and characters and was glad to continue on my nerd crush with Liara. It was fun to play and the ending wrapped up nicely. A good conclusion is so important in a story and the DLC did not dissapoint. Kudo's blizzard your recent DLC content for ME2 is better than the game itself.
