For those who have completed LotSB, after reading the Dossiers and watching a good amount of the videos. Have your views or opinion about some of the characters changed due to the info shown?
I was suprised that the Reporter who sounded so pro earth and anti aliens is seeing a Asari.
Same with Tim, I was suprised that the woman he slept with twice in one week was a Asari Matriarch. it just didn't seem to fit with his stance on aliens. There is other info that answers questions and some that create new ones. But I was suprised and touched by some of the info shown.

Meh that's only human......everyone likes the Asari....no exceptions or surprises there. Nothing beats Legion's gamer profile 

I had to read the title of that info page a dozen times to believe it......I read "gamer profile" under Legion and my first thought was that my eyes were playing a trick on me or that I was missreading a similar but different word so I read it 10 more times for good measure. The contents of that page were pure awsomeness though. Account suspended for three days for taunting ROFL

I don't know if anyone mention this yet but for those of us out there who are Miranda lovers....

I just found this interesting piece of info on the Mass Effect 2 wikia that I thought was worth sharing..



"Lair of the Shadow Broker



After the completion of Lair of the Shadow Broker, if the player brings Liara aboard the Normandy to catch up, she will ask Shepard what he's fighting for, and if it is for future of humanity as evidenced by "the perfect Miss Lawson". If the player chooses the yes option, Shepard will respond by saying that she has her issues but he cares about her. Liara tells the player that when she first met Miranda she was so cold and completely focused on her duty to Cerberus. Shepard will comment that he doesn't think Miranda has changed that much. Liara will then tell Shepard he has no idea how much he has changed Miranda. Before she leaves to return to the Shadow Broker Base, Liara will say that she hopes that the two of them will find happiness together. "

You mean new stories? O_o

There aren't any new Galactic News pieces in the DLC files.  Plus, there are already a lot of Terminus stories.  You have to check regularly to hear them, though.

Best DLC I bought so far! (First one as well, but it was awesome nonetheless.)

I really liked the atmosphere of the levels, starting with the thunderstorm at the beginning, continuing in the burning building, eventually the outside of the ship... (Which reminded me of Mass Effect's finale in a positive way.) Great. Took me about 3 hours on insane with an infiltrator who pretty much went there as soon as possible. Still have to get more squad mates to check their files :-)

Btw, did anybody else notice that one of the log entries about Mordin was from 22:17? The Galactic Standard Day only has 20 hours...

One thing bus me with t. After seeing all those vids, you cant talk with them about that. I wanted to talk to Anderson after seeing him mett that Cerberus Guy. But no luck, still the same choices.



Another thing which is strange, I played it with my shepard which had 100% of the Galaxy explored and done everything. Once I got the Location of the Ezzo Planet. It says "Anomaly detected in the system" I checked everything, no new planet or anomaly. Oo

I have asked previously, but nobody answered (poor me); After buying the planet locations lots of planets I've previously mined seem to have returned to their previous status of rich, etc. and can be mined again (yeah, i need that extra 200k iridium, just in case).  Anyone else notice this?

I've noticed a serious lack of what is supposed to be rich on the planet purchsed.  Lots of Platinum on those planets though...

Ok a bit kinda off topic but not really...
Well with the video logs you get with lair of the shadow broker, something came up that told me i might be having a problem with mine. Apparently i'm missing a video log or two, and that lead me one step cvloser to confirming my suspicions that all my video logs are only partial. They all seem to suddenly cut off and have extremely distorted unnintelligable sound.
Is this a bug? Please help.

The video logs dont have any sounds, just some noise (Yagh language maybe?). There are 3 series of logs (10 or so short videos each) which will rotate every time you enter the base.

So leave and come back and the logs have changed. Rinse & repeat.

This question may have been asked in this thread already -- we're up to 67 pages, and I haven't kept up, but here it is anyway (SPOILER WARNING):



Right after you kill the SB, when Liara helps you up off the ground, there's a long pause as if a Paragon or Renegade action is going to come up, but the moment passes and Liara sort of shakes her head when you head off to check on your other companion. I've played it with my full paragon, who didn't have a Liara romance, and with my non-paragon (who's sort of a split paragon/renegade), who had a Liara romance, and I didn't get a prompt either time. Does something happen here, if you have the right combination of paragon/renegade/LI?



I've said it before in this thread, but it's worth repeating -- GREAT DLC!! (though over too quickly).

Has anyone else lost their Kelly Cabin dance option since Liar of Shadow Broker?



I just completed an entire mission from scratch with no LI. At the point where Kelly told there was a message on my computer, where here note would have appeared, there was not message to be found.



This also happened to a previous Shepard, after I installed LotSB, completed the mission and made contact with Liara, I lost my Kelly Dance option.



It seems the 2nd computer in the Cabin no longer works.

I was kind of disappointed as I was hoping I could have the option for snuggles with Liara.

Probably the best of all BioWare's DLCs so far (loved Shale in DAO but that was a peculiar case, it was supposed to be in the original game and then changed to DLC status).

I was expecting more out of taking down the Shadow Broker. Not just some new, giant, made-up-for-the-role species. I didn't like how the SB ship part was so similar to the Citadel fight in ME.



The things I did like:



- The implication that Liara may not be able to handle her new "job" and may not be able to keep her intentions positive post Reaper Wars. Will she eventually become a problem that will have to be dealt with?



- Getting the Liara vs other love interest out of the way.



- The SB dossiers. There was a nice mix of seriousness, humor, and weirdness.



- The surveillance/ spy videos.



- Investing in resource companies.

Wasn't sure if this is the same for all players, but when reading the Dossier of Admiral Hackett on the Shadow Broker's ship, did it mention that a new special-operative would be replacing his aide in two months? Given that the Illusive Man made a hint that Shepard was alive, is it possible that Hackett could be brokering a deal with him for Shepard's Services, does this mean there could be DLC involving Hackett or even Hackett will be a major character in ME3?

Cant say I was to fond of the Yahg as a new race just to fit the role of a huge scary boss battle...not to mention they kinda emasculate the Krogan now.



All in all it was good to see Liara get the attention her character needed, belated or not its better then " here hack some terminals...Im kinda busy at the moment " heh, I like that Shep said something about that in the dialouge too.





Does anyone know if this DLC will be integrated into ME3, or will it just be ignored being that its DLC and all?

Didn't read the dossier on Admiral Hackett, but perhaps the special-operative is Kaiden/Ashley, and they're being prepped for the next DLC??  Pure speculation, I know...

I think this is just a dramatic pause, although I haven't played through yet with a renegade shep, but I think it's unlikely he'd get anything my paragon wouldn't it that situation.  Sorry couldn't be more help, but sure someone else will fill in the gap.

It just seemed like a editing issue to me, I had full paragon and Liara romance and got nothing there. Shep had to check on the downed team mate you know, since liara was ok.

Re: the pause after fight... there is a Paragon interrupt at that point if you previously romanced Liara in ME1. It is very short, I've missed it even when I knew it was coming (2nd playthrough)
