Of course Liara will be a squadmate in ME3. BioWare didn't go to the trouble of keeping her alive through the events of ME2 just so she could hang out on a hub world in ME3. It isn't even worth speculating about. It's a done deal as far as I'm concerned.

No, LotSB took her OUT of the squad ... she IS the NEW Shadow Broker. Helping Shepard out with reliable intel (unlike TIM who sucks) behind the scenes, not in combat.

Maybe at the beginning of ME3, but I'll bet you a dollar she joins the squad at some point.

The only reason the SB had to stay on his base was because he was a loser-recluse with no friends or mission. Liara has both. She can leave.

Besides, it's not like she needs that giant computer when your omni-tool does literally everything. I'm willing to bet Shepard survived his crash because of his omni-tool. It also toasts his bread and cooks his bacon in the morning.

I'd really like to pop into the AI chamber on the Normandy to find Legion playing extranet games. Although I guess it'd be playing the games in its head. :P

I'd also really like a little fan-moment in ME3 where in the midst of a fight - during an appropriate lull - Shepard asks Garrus if he could borrow Garrus's visor for a second. I really want Shepard to hold the visor up to his ear to see what particular tune Garrus is rocking out to at that moment. :D

More than likely Cereberus will be the enemy in ME3, and the SB ship will be your HQ.

I disagree. Whilst the SB ship might be impressive it doesn't strike me as particularly mobile, or stealthy when not hidden in the storms.

On an unrelated note, is it just me or are the SB agents smarter than the usual mooks - possibly because their comm chatter is more realistic than the "Protocol X: Verbose Explanation", etc.

Oh, and judging from Liara's AI, ME3 will have great squad chatter as well.

If you haven't done so already, try setting Vasir on fire and throw her off the building. They really should have finished that fight after taking her armour down.

Was anyone disappointed with who the SB was? I was expecting it to be a massive plot twist, like a character we already knew.

Didn't think we'd see a character we knew, but having a generic rage machine wasn't exactly what I was looking for either. So rather than the yahg, I'm now more interested in who the SB was who he replaced 60 years ago.

The yahg was "interesting" but cannot possibly meet the menace and intrigue of the villain that plagued you throughout ME1. Character design was topnotch though, that things face was crazy.

I was curious, too. that's why I posted topic on this before. I was searching for mass effect wiki, and all related web pages. but I haven't found anything close. but there is one possible answer. he would be salarian. why? go to mass effect wiki, search shadow broker. there are few salarian mentioned fact.

I really enjoyed this DLC. I didn't know how much I missed squad banter until it was back. The true reunion between Shepard and Liara was emotionally satisfying as well, though since I moved on and hooked up with Tali, it seems my Shepard should have just called her up to his cabin after Liara left rather than sitting on the bed all forlorn with sad puppy-dog eyes. Still, if this is the direction future DLCs are going to take, then I'm VERY thankful my house is all but sold so I'll have the disposable income to be able to purchase all of them when they come out. :P

I like how this DLC really acknowledge some of the things fans have been a bit iffy about by putting in things like Shepard telling Liara "What, you need more terminals to hack?"(some didn't like that all you did for Liara was hacking terminals) and that you lost your unit on Akuze but still working for that same organization that killed them(some didn't like that you couldn't say something about that in the intro sequences).

BioWare listen to their fans, I love it!

My only real beef was at the very end, when Liara asked me how I was REALLY feeling. I chose the "Frustrated reply" and when Shep said that not even his closest friends believed him, I knew the writers were referring to Kaiden/Ashley, but Garrus and Tali were right on the ship! (As Tali said, "I'm standing right here!") They've always been there for Shepard and I felt his relationship with them (my romancing of Tali notwithstanding) was closer than I felt my Shepard was to Kaiden. I mean, I didn't even get a "Best Bud" vibe out of the conversations with Kaiden in ME like I did with Garrus. Some acknowledgement of the friendship with Garrus would have been nice.

I was feeling bad enough after Liara left, that I had to invite Tali up to my cabin right away, though inviting Garrus down to the lounge for drinks would have been cool, too.

Do the daily resources eventually end?, As odd as that soundsl lol.

If the mass effect wiki is to be trusted - yes it will. But i've always gotten some resource so - for it to run out, I figure, do a save edit and do LotSB the very first thing with Miri and Jacob and go back to the lair after every mission and every N7 mission.

Or go back every day for a month lol.

Lol, Ive gotten something everyday since release. Ill be fee at one point..........

Anyone still getting resources?

Well because the planet is tidally locked (with light and dark side), a storm will constantly rage across the terminator line in the upper atmosphere.  The ship doesn't need to be mobile, since the storms will always be in the same place, and it doesn't have to be stealthy since the storms will always be there.  It seems like a great hideout, like Liara said, it's almost impossible to find unless you know it's there.

This has been probably asked before, but forgive me, I'm knew. In ME1 my romantic interest was with Liara but on my play through of ME2 I was tempted with Miranda and had my fling in the cargo hold with her. Now at the end of the Shadow Broker DLC I hooked back up with Liara, saying I wanted a happy ever after etc etc, so smooth I know. So my question is this: what impact will this have on ME3? Will my save game register that I'm back with Liara or do I need to do the whole thing again and remain faithful to her in the first place???

No one (aside from Bioware) can say for certain what will happen. From what I've read, your particular situation will have some sort of repercussion in the next game, especially compared to say someone who broke up with Liara in LotSB and stayed friends.

Anyone else get to the SB lair and get a pop up message there is a delivery of the ship model of the SB ship waiting in your cabin on Normandy - when it already is sitting on your desk in your cabin?

Probably already been mentioned that the main aim of the SB DLC was to set up a loyal and competent intell/covert agency that was more or less fully allied to Shepard's cause as opposed to ME1's less than supportive Council and ME2's Duplicitous Cerberus/TIM.

Liara was a bonus, love interest or not.

I do think a small DLC to bring Kaiden/Ashley back fully into Shepard's orbit would be nice. They are the only members who are not in Shepard's orbit by the end of the game, either as a crew member or as non-crew but clearly allied.

Just how they would be tied in after the Horizon confrontation, I don't know. I guess some sort of betrayal at the hands of the Alliance would drive them back into Shepard arms(so to speak), warts and all.

The planet isn't tidally locked.  It just has a very slow rotation (98 earth days).

Why is the SB in this deal at all? So, the Collectors can go blow up the Normandy, but they can't bother to pick up the body? They have to hire out? This question wasn't answered in the comic and it wasn't answered in the DLC. Did I miss something somewhere? Thanks.

Goodwood tends to be of the opinion that the Collectors' interest in Shepard's corpse came after they'd already turned the Normandy into free-floating hydrogen.
