There is a small mention of them when Liara is on your ship...
You don't have to romance Liara to get her on your ship...

That maybe Dinkamus, but think of it from another perspective.
Now Liara is a very young woman by Asari Standards, and also the ONLY squadmate from both games combined that cannot be killed in any way AND is forced to be taken with you.
Now if Liara is not going to be in ME3 as a squadmate, then when Bioware makes another game in the ME universe ( which they said they will ) then Liara will definitely be there, unlike every other single squad member.
Thats of little consolation, since any Mass Effect games made after this trilogy will almost certainly not be about Shepard in any way shape or form, and keep references to Shepard as vague as possible.
I dont think its ever been talked about as having the ability to import out of the trilogy and into future titles. I think these three games are it as far as Shepards story are concerned.
This DLC establishes Liara as the Shadow Broker, proves that she very much likes that role (as opposed to saving the galaxy by Shepards side), and talks about Shepard facing the reapers *without her*.
Im sure her being the Shadow Broker will be a vitally important plot element in ME3, but not as a squadmate. Instead it will be as a plot important character like Anderson I have little doubt. Now thats not too shabby to be sure, but it just doesnt compare to being one of the characters who is alongside Shepard virtually every step of the way.
To be honest, Ill keep my eyes open for any future hints as unlikely as they may be, but I dont think the DLC could have made it any clearer.

I have a Question, when I watched those Videos at the Terminal, you can see a small video with Matriarch Aethyta watching a picture of Liara (I guess), is she the Father of Liara, I mean why else is she looking at a pic of Liara. Could I be right or am i completley mistaken ?

Loved the DLC. It was like a mini-Uncharted game inside a Mass Effect game. Outstanding.

Shepard to Liara regarding hacking a door: Remember the good ol' days when you cold just slap omni-gel on everything?!
LOL!!!!
I also loved the fact that Shepard was enjoying the car chase. You could hear it in Hale's voice! She nailed it IMO!!! (Not a slam on maleshep as I haven't played this with one of mine yet).
In Lieu of that...I now have a solid reason to hate Liara. Beacause she's a sodding back-seat driver

Disclaimer for this: I am more about the story, I often play this game on easy simply because I'm more interested in the storytelling than the game play. That's just me. So my yay that was awesome may only speak to certain people.
Found tho for my femshep (romanced liara ME1 and is a paragon) that paragon interruptions while talking to Liara were essential for my big romance.
I haven't completed the suicide mission and the interaction I got from Liara and Shep was amazing on their catch up.
Liara getting all upset that Shep is going to go get herself killed and break liara's heart again. Shep promising that "i'll always come back", the voice acting was spot on and emotional. Then my Shep promised marriage and lots of blue babies.
I loved it. I'm def going back after the mission to see Liara and see if they have a reunion yay.
Liara might not be a squad member (or maybe she will) in ME3 but she's definitely going to be around if my storyline says anything.
Also all the upgrades/investment and such is awesome.

Anybody know what the Paragon Interrupt was in the Shadow Broker's ship at the end. It went away too quick.
Go reload the mission from the auto save point and redo it just for that... serious.

But on to the point. As a few have already pointed out this is the BEST DLC I've ever seen. If Bioware only releases DLC every 3 to 4 months like LotSB and Overlord I will keep shelling out.
I know its not said enough on these boards but.....No wait you'll have to wait for ME3 to hear those words

Hmph, unfortunate, though not unexpected. ME2 had more or less killed any sense of connection I had to the game, this is just kinda the last nail in the coffin I suppose. At least I don't have to bother waiting around on ME3 now.

That is so cute and ALMOST makes me less jaded and bitter about probably never seeing Ashley again.

Does anyone know what the investment opportunities are? I payed for all of them and it keeps saying come back tomorrow. Does this mean I have to complete a mission before I get updates? That would suck because I'm post-SM.
go to the delivery thing to the left of Liara and you seem to pick up stuff from there. I got free upgrade stuff.

The boss battles though were really good and I loved the battle with the Shadow Broker. The design of him was just amazing and the music playing in the background while battling him was great too. When I got to that battle I felt like the admission paid was worth it. Then at the end of the DLC when you get that hub and Liara becomes the Shadow Broker was just really cool.
I like the bonus features that Bioware added i.e. being able to purchase information about where to get minerals etc. The conversation on the Normandy with Liara was also very touching. I just wish I knew which save file I used where I romanced with Liara to begin a new game.
Not my favorite DLC (still goes to Kasumi) but it was worth the money. Especially for the hub that you get at the end. I rarely buy DLC but Mass Effect is an exception. Keep up the good work Bioware.

I would love that. I was never sure what was changed gameplay-wise. I did notice Stasis was added, but that was that.Christina Norman wrote...
Glad reaction seems positive so far! I'll do a blog post about some details on the DLC later today.
