Everytime I get to Liara's apartment and after the asari Spectre introduces herself the game locks up and I have to turn off the Xbox 360. I've had this problem twice. Any suggestions?

I'm having the exact same problem.
When Shepard says "A Spectre?" the game freezes...

Just happened to me. After the thousand hoops I jumped through just to have internet in my dorm and play this in the first place, I don't need to be jumping through more to play the damn thing

No glitches since then...turning off the xbox and retrying seemed to work after a few tries. I guess this is it until the problem is officially addressed.

I have a slight problem. %SLIGHT SPOILER AHEAD% Before you fight Tela Vasir, you go through the hostage situation, you have the paragon choice which is something along the lines of "Don't make me shoot", the renegade option "you're pathetic", other options of wound hostage or drop thermal clips. Alright, so I'm a full blown Paragon and it is NOT giving me the option to select "Don't make me shoot". It's starting to ****** me off because I've restarted my 360, reloaded the save file, then I replayed the level up to this point from a previous file, and still no avail. If you haven't gathered it yet, I'm playing this on the XB360. Suggestions?

Mine keeps telling me that I have a disc read error every few minutes of game play. I know that there is nothing wrong with my disc because I've been playing through the second half of the game without a hitch until I got to the DLC LTSB. The only way around it was deleting and redownloading the DLC every time it happened (and it happened seeral times making the DLC take about 24 hours to actually almost complete) but I've hit an impasse at the very end where it won't let me return to my ship after *SPOILER!!!* defeating the shadow broker and meeting with Liara. In fact, I hit the same message at the very end after I've talked to Liara. Also, deleting and redownloading (as well as the cache) will not work this time.

In my first attempt on the shadow broker ship's hull, after I got rid of some maintenance probes and other enemies, and operated some control, I found no way to move the plot forward. I might have overlooked something, but maybe I had maneuvered ME into a dead end. Decided to restart from my last save (just after setting foot on the hull). Got the disc read error after a minute. Retried from the same save a few times, with either DVD 1 or 2 in the drive, and also after deleting the 17 GB hard disc copy. The problem persisted.
Then I restarted from a slightly earlier save (when about to board the shuttle to the SB's ship). I picked a different teammate (I think Samara instead of Legion).
That solved the problem, and I could play through to the end (Liara moving into her new office).
It still took me quite some running around on the hull to find the passage. And I'm still unsure what I was supposed to do with those capacitors, because I noticed no useful effect of shooting at them. I got it right just by accident, I guess.
I had the gaming option on that sends my usage data to Bioware. Wondering how much that helps them fixing their bugs.

The whole freeze-after-Shepard-says-"Spectre?" thing happened to me for the first time tonight. I just turned off my Xbox and on again and it worked fine. Odd. I've never had that happen to my four other Shepards.
