i'm sure bioware will have this fixed soon enough.
A big mistake on their part but i trust they will fix this.
Well of course they will fix it, that isn't the issue. The issue is this shouldn't have happened in the first place it is a **** up of staggering proportions. Not only that but they compound things by not saying ANYTHING beyond "oh yeah looks like there are compatibility issues brb" and meanwhile they continue to offer the junk file for sale and download.
It is unprofessional and sloppy.

*sigh* lets just hope they have backups so they can fix whatever went wrong with the exe compiling thingy
Hm... maybe that's how great DLCs are created: Devs working their asses off for weeks or even months, then someone ****s it up, no backup, no way to recreate the work. then rushing it with smoking keyboards within 2 hours, just to make fans happy

Even though bioware completely dropped the ball on this, i really dont mind waiting a bit more for what i know will be a great dlc. In the meantime everyone should just calm down and play something else while they get it resolved.

How do you know what? Chris, always quick to 'end-of-line' this or that thread, would really do well to put a stop top the selling of an empty download. In fact, come to think of it, I haven't heard *anything* from any dev at all. A simple acknowledgement, accompanied by a "We're working on it; don't worry, you didn't spent your money in vain." would go a long way towards settlings things down.LokiHades wrote...
Guys guys guys, cut them some slack, they're trying to fix the problem.
While I agree, whining about it won't help either. Though it is good fun
I think it's best they focus on getting it up, then posting an announcement rather than telling us they're working on it and slowing them down a little. Though they only need one guy to do this >_>

Seriously, no word from Chris?
He responded in the Technical Forum, they're aware of the problem and working on it.
It takes as long as if they are filling the file with the proper content using hex-editor.
Maybe they are. Just saying ...

longer for the DLC than console players for no earthly reason
imaginable, next the upload is delayed because apparently 1.5 gigs
constitutes a "huge file" somewhere in bizarro world, and then they upload an exe
full of nothing and we don't even get a bleeding response on when the
issue will be resolved (other than that snippet about 'compatibility
issues', but that's old news already).
Also, why is is the broken file still up for download? I mean, seriously, what the hell?

Seems they already acknowledged it (in the technical forums); which is good enough for me. As long as I know they're not ignoring this, I can way a bit longer.LokiHades wrote...
