AFAIC, there is no excuse for uploading a broken stinking file on the server. They don't check their own damn installation files before uploading them, and making them available for download?yorkj86 wrote...
The executable isn't doing anything for my copy of 32-bit W7. The DOS window comes up, blank, closes, and nothing happens.
Did you ever think that maybe it's an issue with the distribution system and not the actual file they uploaded?

I hope we'll get something... this DLC wasn't cheap and it not even works..
Seriously, some of you are acting like Bioware just stole your money and have no intention of fixing the problem. Get over it and have some patience.

I'm sorry if this sounds angry... wait a sec, no I'm not sorry. Just angry.
If this has been KNOWN not to work, WHY DO THEY KEEP THE FRIGGIN' LINK UP??? Why did I have to download 3gigs worth of non-working crap? (yes, I re-downloaded just to be sure.) Then I come here and see this is a known issue?
geez! if this was one of those free dlcs... but this one was 800 friggin' points! The most expensive DLC after the CN! ....aaaand it doesn't work!
what the ...?!?
Sorry, but if this was ANYTHING else than digital, the **** would be just about hitting the fan. hard.
now that it IS digital, people just keep telling to take it easy. and give it time.
woot. If you went to the grocery store, bought food and got home and the packages wouldn't open or the the food would be unidentified organic paste, would you take it easy and just give it time? sure, the store would honor your purchase and provide a working food product in the next few days...
goddamnit, I'm hungry NOW.

The pure rage generated from the forumers caused a massive explosion, that temporarily knocked the powergrids off the Bioware servers. A few minutes later, the PCs rebooted, but all the staff at Bioware are now aware of the power of furious gamers
Well they're either fixing the installer or uploading it now, lets hope it's the latter.BWpimper wrote...
So EVERYONE is having this problem? I
need to know 'cause I don't want to waste 10 hours of download time to
find a bunch of zeros. At least I have uncapped though.
Yep pretty much every non-360 user.

it's just embarrassing for bw and the guys that were responsible for checking the dlc package before getting it out in the wild should take a look at this: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Seppuku

Yeah, I'm trying to see the funny side of this, but it is really annoying. This may be the first time something like this is happening to me with a Bioware DLC, and yeah, every one can screw up and make mistakes from time to time, but right now I'm pretty pissed.

Delays because the upload takes time are one thing, but supplying us with a bunch of zeroes is a completely different thing and we have a right to be pissed off about it.JeanLuc761 wrote...

I payed, and now I expect to get what I paid for... or is that too much to ask ?
Imagine if Microsoft would have done that with a patch for Windows or even the LotSB DLC on Xbox.
Every consolero out there would be screaming like a fricking lunatic kid.
