Well, I am sorry but after paying for it, I am feeling a bit entitled.

And you'll get it, no one's saying we don't deserve the product we paid for.  It's a matter of grace and attitude when a mistake is made and patience is required.  Actually being entitled and acting gracefully is a world apart from acting entitled.  Children act entitled.

No offenece but i think we have a right to move beyond showing bioware any grace and patience over this issue. This isnt the first time theres been a major issue with DLC, in fact i dont believe its the second time theres been a major issue with DLC.

ISSUE ONE- I have just payed to download a product that was broken, at the time i downloaded the product bioware KNEW it was broken yet felt it was ok to still advertise a link on their main webpage telling me this product was available, when clearly it isnt, a priority should be to update the main webpage telling their PAYING customers theres an issue allowing US to make the decision not to waste money buying a product thats clearly broken. Im sorry but there is absolutley no excuse on their part that the link telling us the DLC is available should still be on the main page.

ISSUE TWO- This product was announced over a month ago, the live date was announced two weeks ago, in all that time no one thought to actually test the damn thing to make sure it worked?

Personaly im sick of this, yes they make good games, on a consistant basis to be fair but this is just totaly unprofesional! No testing of the product? No official announcement telling us there was an issue? 1.5 gig wasted in download time, you people are aware a lot of ISP's have a monthly download limit?

Totaly unaceptable, i actually want my money back and to be honest im close to giving up on DLC, playing something else and waiting a year or so for ME3

You beat me to it.

If you're sick of it and it's totally unacceptable, don't buy DLC any more.

That's not how this works and you know it, we're basically crack addicts at this point. By the time the next DLC comes around, we'll be selling our bodies for it.

ok so other than the pc users not getting it as the same time as xbox users and this apparent glitch in the DLC for pc users i think it's great

1.5 gb of space taken on the 360 harddrive, my first indication that this will be awesome.

took me about 4 hours to play through on insanity NG+

the shadow broker's intel-center is great, love it.

the battles were long, after many encounters i had to scrounge the battlefield because the only weapon i had that had ammo was the arc projector and my shotgun (i played as a soldier) and many times i panicked because i got flanked by a vanguard that i had no idea was even in the firefight, or other situations like that. so if you like those battles that get your adrenaline running running in real life then this is great

my only disappointment with it was the final scene with liara. and what appears to be the special bonus to adepts, but i wasn't surprised with the "bonus" at all. i played as a soldier so it is possible i might have missed it and it's something completely different.

in sort, it's $10 well spent

People, people please. Yes we've all been waiting, yes we've all paid for it, yes we do deserve it, but they are working on it. If we egg them with too much negativity, they're going to lose productivity. So lets try to calm things down a little. Reminisce of the good times, like these two timeless classics:

Writing this reply is probably pointless, but I'll write anyway.

Those of you who are yelling at BioWare: what are you trying to accomplish? It won't get the DLC out any faster. Trust me, they are keenly aware of the problem, and they're getting the fix out as soon as possible. They aren't evil, they aren't stupid, they aren't trying to scam you of your $10 (that wouldn't be very good business practice, now, would it?), and they definitely aren't enjoying what's going on.

Mistakes do happen -- software development is hard, and delays happen, sometimes for good reasons, sometimes not. Treat this as a bug -- there are bugs in released software all the time, some more serious than others.

I'm speaking from experience here -- I'm not working for BioWare, but I've worked in large-scale software development and deployment for 11 years now. You can search for wisdom and reasons, and it pays off to analyze situations like this postmortem to see what you can learn for the future, but in the end, you have to accept that, sometimes, sh*t happens.

Actually, this whole 'file full of zeros' business could have made a pretty amusing marketing ploy for Overlord. Wasted potential, Bioware, wasted potential.
