Is there any chance we can expect an announcement from Bioware about the Status of the LotSB file? I've already purchased it but I really don't have the bandwidth available to be downloading a massive file three times.

The installer file is just a bunch of zero's (1,5 Gig worth). So no version of windows has been able to play it.

as i said earlier, so far legally it is a fraid. Two hours and counting.

People, understand that this isn't a OS issue. The file for PC is broken. It won't matter if you have XP/Vista or Win7 32 or 64bit versions.

Great first I can't even buy more bioware points (forgiveable.. I can imagine its busy o.o) and now I find out it wont work on my 64bit Win7 anyway... sigh



Fix it. Had to wait till 19.00 for it to -finally- come out and I can't get it.

The problem has nothing to do with system configuration, operating system, etcetera. Someone at Bioware dropped the ball.

I find this astonishing, how in the hell do you manage to release a file without, y'know, making sure it actually works? I've heard of things going wrong, but not a 1.5GBs of 0s. This has to be unprecedented.

Eeesh, people, we don't care what OS you're running, or what country you're DLing from.



File = Universally Broken.



As many others have said; the most irrtating aspects of this are:



1) The DL was late to be activated anyway

2) Bioware have not removed the broken DL, and therefore, people are continuing to purchase a

broken product.

3) Feedback from Bioware has been nothing more than "Yeah, its broken, give us a while..."



I personally feel that the original late-release, followed by a large, "corrupt" DL, is not a co-incidence. To me, this seems like a stall-tactic. They'd rather blame one or two nameless individuals, rather than taking collective responsibility for the PC version simply not being ready yet.

I dont use threats and use fowl language, i do however own my own wallet. I will not buy any more EA/BW games and even SWTOR is in the balance here because of BW's participation on it. You have lost a customer and most probably i'm not the only one since DA2 is also forming up to be ME2 fantasy, forget ME3. This DLC was the last straw when xbox players are happly playing and PC gamers ONCE more get the shorter end of the straw AGAIN.

Time to give my money to better companies with better products, like bethesda or gearbox software.

That something ****s up is understandable.. granted.. irritating as hell.. but **** happens.. but that they when its a known problem still have the file up for people to buy and download.. thats just a disgrace..



Some people sit on limited connections and dont read forums before buying stuff... Bioware are seriously ****ing them over by just leaving the file out there.



We understand that **** happens, but for the respect of your fans.. get your act in gear, remove the faulty link, remove the option to waste money on a non working product, and give us a official status update...
