Well, here, in Hungary the day ends in one and a half hours, so they better speed up the process.Nightodie wrote...

So apparently not everyone has access to shadow broker or witch hunt, I am sure that will be figured out by the end of the day. Sorry!

Thanks, this is a great idea! I suspect we'll get an official announcement when they fix it anyway tho.Breys wrote...
Okay, I hacked up something quick to check if this has been fixed. It basically downloads the first 10 bytes of the file and checks if they're all zeros. It only checks once every two minutes, so reloading obsessively won't help

"Figured out" is one thing, but I'd almost bet my ass on it that they are NOT going to upload a fixed exe today.charmingcharlie wrote...

Got to love the "not everyone" bit, erm yeah everyone that has a PC is unable to access the shadow broker.

Has Bioware made any kind of official statement yet? That's my only gripe. I understand that DLC's have glitches on launch day.... just let us know what is going on? Have they?
A couple "we're working on it" ones in the Official Lair of the Shadowbroker Discussion thread.
So the thread with all the spoilers in it which most of us have probably been avoiding. Oh good.

...well that sucks. I don't want to go into that thread because I don't want to be spoiled before I get to actually play the game.

great... that means they will have to recompile the complete Installer and upload a new one.
That means PC Users will get this a day late... at least.
Now now remember we are not meant to complain we should just be happy and accept everything like good little PC gamers. In fact I would go as far as saying that it is really OUR FAULT I mean how dare we expect a working DLC on the PC /sarcasm
charmingcharlie is my new hero.
But yeah, like everyone else: not working. On a regular Windows 7, 64x. Downloaded most of the other available DLC with no problems at all. and I have the latest patch.

Bioware is apparently totally incapable of performing the basic act of uploading working DLC on their own. When Microsoft holds their hand they're okay, but if it's just them it's always a disaster.
You'd think at some point they'd get professional about it!
Nice....
That 9 GB folder on your drive contains the largest database EVER of pre-directed realtime-rendered scenes for ANY engine. the scenes, in turn, make use of at least 4 different databases of intricate animation scripts, for lipsyncing differently shaped mouths in the most convincing way imaginable for realtime rendered CGI.
But I guess that a botched installer is reason enough to dismiss this tiny bit of trivia. And collectively declare "unprofessional"

How far is everybody getting in the DLC before you get an error message?
Because I downloaded it and I'm about 20 minutes in. So far, no
issues... I'm on a 360.
It's not a 360 issue, just PC

We paid for it, and we want it now. You owe us bioware. There should be penalties and reparations.
not ot mention that we are now IN A VERY REAL DANGER TO GET IT SPOILED FOR US BY THE XBOX PLAYERS.
