That must be the reason for devoting so many dev resources into making sure that plot cinematics would be synched to hide loading sequences, and into making 10 different non-plot-related loading movies so that you won't get to board from having just one, which is the standart for the entire industry.

i got nothing please fix it soon, i got win 7 and got the black screen and then nothing then tried to download it again and the icon was gone

Same here, got a ms-dos window flashed and then nothing.  They must've pulled it while I was downloading.  So yeah, we're forced to play the waiting game, I just hope to god it's not as long as DA:O's RtO.  Speaking of which, at least I have Witch Hunt.

Khufu had the Great Pyramid built around 2560 BC. Since then he's been waiting 4570 years for a working copy of Lair of the Shadow Broker. Good luck with your pyramid. If Khufu were here, he'd laugh at you noobs.

There should have been more testing for the PC than this; the PC is where this game shines...all this does is make the credibility of a great game manufacturer suffer.  i hope that they dont put the PC version of this DLC on the back burner for the simple fact that the console version isn't having any problems...

I gotta say that all these people saying they won't buy BioWare stuff in the future, or that they are really pissed and want legal action amuse me. The Truth is that we are all hooked on Mass Effect 2 and can't stand to be denied an expansion pack. The only thing worse would be playing ME2 on an XBOX 360, or even an XBOX 361.

Overreactions aside, BW just showed part of their quality control is inexistant. Not a nice thing. Personally I´m amused rather than angry. It´s just a game after all.

Yup. But people paid for the content. 800 MSP.
I understand their rage.

I paid for it too, and I want it. I am just pointing out that the statement "I will never trust BW in the future" or "BW totally lost my trust" is BS. Because everyone on this forum loves ME. ME is an amazing game, unlike any other and people will keep coming back no matter how many technical screw ups.
IT is all about the story and the art, the technical stuff is background noise.

Oh, I understand, and I agree.
Same happened with Dragon Age, when it was revealed that the Warden will not appear in the sequel.
"BIOWARE SUCKS, BIOWARE IS LAME, IF THE WARDEN DOES NOT APPEAR I'LL NOT BUY DA2".
And now? Hawke fan thread, Hawke is awesome, etc.
It always happen. Never fails. I really love Bioware and their games, what I don't like is when they ignore my questions in order to answer something else, concerning nutella or beards, or that kind of things.
But oh well.

Dude, nutella is hazelnuts and sugar, Why ask BW?

Ugh.
No, no. Man, I think that my English is getting rusty.
I asked about technical things, like if we can delete save files (in Origins you had to go to the Hard Drive settings), if the characters will show their age, and some game-related. Now I'm promoting a weapon, that looks and sounds silly (The Nug Bombs), but it's awesome, believe me. And they still ignore me.
But they answer other people questions concerning nutella, beards and that kind of stuff.

Quite frankly I think you are overreacting you will still be able to import your DA playthroughs but you just won't play your original character. I also think the reason they did this is because they wrapped up you particular character's story line with DA awakening. Last thing if you don't like it STFU and don't buy the game or make mods of it .

I have Vista Ultimate 64 bit and capable of running 32 or 64 bit sofware. Further, I never had a problem with the previoys DLC's. ,,,Still have the compatibility error message when I try to installed.....

Checked the DLC page and it's no longer available. Oviously they pulled it and may be working on the problem,

Well, nice to see that so many 'fans' slide the knife in because (albeit, highly anticipated) DLC has issues once in a while. Bioware could simply spite you and refuse to release it if and when they fix it.

Me? I played Witch Hunt which is yet more tasty DA goodness, and now I'm going to bed, hopefully to see LotSB sometime tomorrow. Peace, y'all.

They should have included a rickroll in the original archive, that would have really set off the pc crybabies, a shepboogie would have been even better.

Suckers, lol!
