I always forget how many whiny gamers are out in the world. People do not realize how complicated it is to make a game, and mistakes happen.Hammer6767 wrote...

There have been numerous problems with DLCs. Just because Witch Hunt went without a problem, doesn't mean past DLC didn't have their issues. In fact, the entirety of Dragon Age: Origins has been nothing short of a disaster. At no point do I remember ever having a game as riddled with glitches and unimplemented features as this.
This has to be the overstatement of the year....lol.
I would go worry about more important things. Like world hunger, or something. Just be patient, Bioware will fix it.
Why do people even post things like that? Protip: if someone is throwing a conniption fit over videogame DLC, they're not gonna respond well to your high-handed moralizing. That, and you've just successfully antagonized all the annoyed but otherwise rational folk who hate high-handed moralizing. Oh, and make everybody wonder why you're not out combatting world hunger yourself intstead of moralizing at people on a videogame forum.

Besides being able to continue my Liara romance, my favourite part had to be the Dossier terminal. Good entertaining stuff in there. Especially Grunt's dossier.

As a programmer, I can relate. I've had a few instances where what should have been a simple install or patch hits just the right conditions and has unforseen consequences. Just give them time. I'm sure they're working double shifts to fix it.

Does anyone know where I can find a breakdown of specific contents (like duration, weapons, upgrades, etc), but not storyline or other "roleplay" additions?

I had the same issue, 1 second of DOS and then nothing, so itried to re-download it, gone to the purchased DLCs page and saw that it was gone.
So i checked to the main site, on specialised sites and found nothing...they could at least send an email, they are EA, a huge company, what does it takes to write " there has been a technical error the service will be restored soon".

By the way i still love Bioware...how can you hate Casey Hudson's sheep's eyes.
lol.

We are very pleased today to launch the latest Mass Effect 2 DLC Lair of the Shadowbroker.
Team up opnce again with your Mass Effect 1 asari team mate, Dr Liara T'Soni, and hunt down the galaxy's most notorious and sinister criminal, the Shadowbroker. This new DLC will let you explore further through Illium and journey to the Shadowbroker's secret hidden base as Liara seeks to complete the mission she undertook in Dark Horse Comic's Mass Effect: Redemption series.
Lair of the Shadowbroker is now available on Xbox Live and on the Mass Effect 2 DLC page here: http://social.bioware.com/page/me2-dlc.
To celebrate the return of Liara, we have a brand new Liara T'Soni wallpaper up on the Mass Effect 2 gallery here: http://masseffect.bioware.com/media/
Good luck going to http://social.bioware.com/page/me2-dlc. The DLC is not there. Did you pull it to fix Win7 64-bit problem?? Then POST AN ANNOUNCEMENT. I pre-purchased points yesterday specifically to download Shadowbroker today. Silly optimistic me. When will I learn not to trust anyone's promises? I have Win7 64-bit by the way so you'd better deliver as promised.

After have waited for literally a full day, (The release said Spetember 7th, but did not specify the date was US-Centred. I assumed that the release date was localized based upon country of connection, and therefore I would be able to access at 12am GMT. You know GMT right? The Time Line that all current time zones use as a point of reference...) , I am growing impatient...
Well, that's kinda your fault.
It has been posted repeatedly, and has been the case with everything else Bioware has released via download, that they go by the time in Edmunton, Canada, since that's where their offices are. It is (UTC -07:00) Mountain Time. Which means for them it is currently about 5:30pm. The DLC was released about 5-6 hours ago. I doubt they will be going home just yet though.

Is is true that DLCs are as fickle as blue chicks? This is the first time I found this problem.

Um... programmer? Riiiight...
Do you realize that IN ORDER TO FIX THIS THEY ONLY HAVE TO RE-UPLOAD THE F*CKING FILE TO EA SERVER???
If they typed it in by hand in Notepad over the phone they would be about done by now.
Taking so long to do it is completely unacceptable -- we paid $10 for having it YESTERDAY!
And staying silent about it for so long is doubly unacceptable. Shame on you Bioware!
