tried downloading this a couple times now.. won't go past 1%.. anyone ever have this issue with any dlc before?

Incredible DLC. The best to date for really any game. Only issue I had is the sound cutting out for large lengths of time during the car portion.

This might be a stupid question, but how do you get the mission? I have installed the DLC, but I just can't seem to get the mission. The wiki says "A message is sent to Shepard's private terminal from Cerberus", but I haven't received any message. I've tried going to Illium and back on the Normandy. I've tried going from one deck to another on the Normandy in hopes that it would trigger something.

Double check your new and also previously read messages, possibly you received it and didnt realize (hopefully as simple as that).  You can try visiting Liara and seeing if the conversation option "Lets get the Shadowbroker" comes up.  That was how I was able to initiate the mission.  Best of luck, you wont be disappointed.

Kudos to Bioware, this was a fantastic DLC, tried on insanity and failed miserably....ended up finishing hardcore only.

Of course it is there that it does not work, but when it was told to us? On the release day...

EA download manager can be  a solution who bought this game in a shop or in EA store. But mine is a pre-purchased digital deluxe edition bought through Steam, so the game does not use EA download manager.

Hmmm interesting, in my registered game promotions page ALL links have "ME2_DLC" in the URL, except Shadowbroker, and they works ALL fine.

Oh boy... I am so frustrated here. I am playing ENGLISH version but I am eastern Europe (Czech Republic) so I am unable to install LAIR DLC - I bought it instantly when released and then I am unable to use it... I am very sad here - how should I know before buying that it is NOEASTERNPLAYABLE game at all :-(. Man cannot track all the info about it to know this before.
Do something with it - I spend my 800points for nothing even though I am playing English game so no "quality of language version" issue in this case. Loosing fans here in Czech and whatsmore pirates have a better chance of playing with Liara than honest buyers and that is the worst part.

To be noted - I bought all DLCs before and played them - ALL FINISHED in English with no problems at all so why now this...

Change entry Language in the following registry key from "pl" (or whatever you have there) to "en"

32bit: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\\\\SOFTWARE\\\\BioWare\\\\Mass Effect 2

64bit: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\\\\SOFTWARE\\\\Wow6432Node\\\\BioWare\\\\Mass Effect 2

Then install DLC and after that change Language back to original value.

I have no new messages, and it isn't in my archived messages. When I visited Liara I didn't get the option to go after the Shadowbroker. All I got was the same dialogue as you always get after you complete her missions.

downloaded, when released dosent work, quick comandpromt flash then nothing. on Windows XP pro SP-3. trying to download again (presumably the broken DLC is fixed now) and the OLD brokken version wont delete, says it being used by some other program. Getting a hold of support is like running a maze. Thanks Bioware now i have 1.5 GB of waste on my harddrive that wont go off. How the h... did this pass QA?! and what the f.. when wrong?

changed value language from "cz" to "en" and installed - I did not changed the value back to cz, I have installed english language file and I am playing english so no problem (how to change language to english was instructed here on forums)

There were several articles about using this DLC on Eastern release won't work. But shouldn't they have written this little piece of info and solution to the DLC's infobox?

Maybe I could find new link but I used link provided to me from entitlements download page, new reload before that second try before five hours. I thought that there should be proper link. Anyway it looks like I get 1,5GB WITH the right content (data (: ) right now.

I have exsactly the same problem (on the xbox) it gets to 1percent then just stays there on pending for ages
im assuming it is just the intrernet connection will give it a go in abit
