Doesn't work on WinXP too!

After launching the installer a console window pops-up for a moment and then nothing happens. :(

I had same problem - but I think I was just downloading at a busy time - 3rd download worked fine

After waiting 4 or 5 hours for the file to download which I have no idea why it took that long(Problem is not on my end) .  It tries to open and fails to do so.   i have also, tried opening the file with avg 9.0 and via computer admin both of which failed.   The file that this dlc is on still has bugs or is still a bad file.   the problem is not on my end.

Is the file 1.630.579.236 Bytes in size ?
If not, then the problem IS on your end, the download cancels before it's complete.
Try a download manager, these give you the ability to resume canceled downloads.

The file was downloaded and i have no idea what the problem is, but it appears to be not on my end.   I have tried earlier DLC with out trouble, but this file has a bug in it somewhere.   That's all I know.   So, far no luck installing it.

The file is not bugged, for we all downloaded and installed the same one. Sounds like your download was interrupted somewhere and is missing some chunks. Best redownload. (Did you check the filesize like someone suggested?)

I liked the Video Archive on the Intel Center... seeing Kahlisa al-Jilani getting sucker-punched was priceless :D
What was interesting though was the Vid of Matriach Aethyta sitting at a table with Liara's picture... that made a lot of questions pop up in my head...

I think there is nothing mysterious here: after this vid everything became obvious.

Still, i'm interested to see how they are going to wrap that one up ;)
I mean, the matriarch obviously knows she has a daughter but has probably not seen her in a long time, or maybe never before... that could develop into a very emotional scene in the next game :)

I don't think that Aethyta would be very emotional:)
It'll be something like "Oh, hello there!"
Still, very nice detail for the game, i hope it'll have some consequences too.

My only gripe would be that I played this before I got to DA's Witch Hunt. Don't know if I would have been as let down by the Dragon Age DLC if this hadn't kicked so much arse.
Playing through with all 4 of my Shepards. My male Shep dumped Jack before the mission started, but I loved how Liara still knew about it. Image IPB

I don't really want to read through 70 pages of comments so I'm sorry if this was asked before:

Do Tali and Garrus get any lines ? Seeing as the promo shots had the "old team" back together I would expect something from them.

It is indeed a brilliant DLC - i really enjoyed it and the Easter Eggs at the end are hilarious! Excellent job!!

Plus i loved how Liara knew different hings, sch as that i'd already defated the collector's - good touch.

I bought the DLC about an hour ago using my paypal account. However, the DLC has not shown up in my account. All the previous DLC that I've bought have showed up instantly and were available to download right after my purchase.

Anyone know what's going on? Thanks.

edit: nevermind. I was being stupid and only bought the bioware points. I forgot I had to go back to purchase the DLC with the points.. (it's been a long day...)

I played with them and during a cutscene where there is an explosion Tali says "Keelah."  That's it.

However that being said, the lack of squad dialogue is not as noticeable as it was in Overlord.  The banter between Shepard and Liara makes up for it IMHO.

I've just finished my playthrough of the new DLC. I have to say it more than exceeds the bar for quality that Overlord set. Awesome new levels and I got to have my Shepard continue his relationship with Liara.

Look forward to whatever the next big dlc will be - hopefully it will be just as good.

If you want to aquire 6 research upgrades here is what you should do:

* you will find two only during the hunt for the Shadow Broker, def. Heavy Pistol Upgrade lev6 and Damage Protection lev6

*to aquire Shotgun, SMG, Sniper and Assault Rifle Upgrade to level 6 (lev 6 for assault rifle if you saved refinery on zaeeds mission OR lev 7 if you helped him kill Vido) you have to: check daily transports to the ship. By default it has a time lock which means another transport will arrive within real time 24 hours. To get past that, just change your date day later and check again. Do it until you have all 4 extra upgrades from transports :)

What is the url anyone has downloaded the dlc from? I've checked the url with the Overlord and Terminus dlc's and it's slightly different. When I correct it, the Shadow Broker dlc downloads completely but I'm still having the "compatibility issue" message come up when I try to install it. I've downloaded and installed all free dlc's, Overlord and Terminus without any issues.

Kudos for the story and the overall DLC.
Inline with Overlord gives hell of a ME experience.

Super Story, Cool Cuts, Cool Character development (now i actually finally understand why Liara reacted so odd to Shepard.).. so yes, thats how it should be. You did it again.

Small glitch: Playing Femshep gives you in Broker base checking the data on Captain Baily (or whatever hes spelled) somewhere in his indepth information a "his" instead "her" thus not correctly taking account of femshap players.

besides that, bravo. super entertaining, and well could have lasted some more days, but it would have been labeled me3 than i guess :P

br,
wood

Mine got stuck at 0% for a long long time like over a minute before it truly finished, using firefox and i just waited and had patience before it finally finsihed. Maybe you just need to wait a bout 5 minutes or so after it says it's doen to make sure you got it all?

I downloaded it with firefox and it went to 100% complete. It started right up and was downloading at 1.4 MB/sec for the entire time.

It must be something with my isp (it's campus wifi). I'll try it at another location.

Liked this one a lot. The only issue I have with it is the lack of squaddie VA throughout the mission - I really wanted to hear some banter between Liara and the 'old guard' of Tali and Garrus. Still, the banter between her and Shepard makes up for it, especially the bits during the car chase sequence - which, by the by, was very well put together.

Bits I particularly liked:

- making your way along a giant structure (or ship, in this case) that really lets you get a feel for its sheer size. In many ways, these are my favorite ME and ME2 sequences - ones where you're actually heading for something and busy with other matters, but you still get a sense of scale, and that wherever you are is freaking huge - Racing the Mako towards the Conduit, climbing Citadel Tower, the whole of the Suicide Mission, and now this one.

- a 'hold the line' sequence. It's a nice difference from always pushing forward. Hunker down and let them come to you for once.

- the boss fight (though I don't think the Charge icon for the Vanguard should be red when targeting the SB. It makes him drop his guard, which is invaluable).

- cinematics! (Though at one point, when Tela is making her escape, I had to chuckle. We have her running across a courtyard, no cover, with Shep's squad looking on from above ... and there's Garrus, just standing there instead of unlimbering his sniper rifle and taking the shot. Yeah, I know, would have been plot derailment if he had, but it was still amusing.)

- the writing in this one was damn good.

- the extras after the end are both amusing and enlightening in some cases.

Take a look at it this way: Before she met Shepard, she had never before left the flotilla, so that means that the SB could not have accumulated a lot of information on her as the quarians keep mostly to themselves.
People from other races are rarely, if ever, allowed to dock with the fleet, so no way to get an operative in there.

Threaten a quarian on their pligrimage, buy one off when they are out. Have people infiltrate a ship and drop a camera in, have someone/thing patrol the extranet waves of there. Nope, no way at all
