I loved the DLC - definitely worth the 800 point cost.

*WARNING: SPOILERS*

Highlights:

- The conversation with liara back on the normandy about where your relationship will go (if you romanced her, that is). that one line about babies stole the show

- Legion's dossier - this was HILARIOUS! I won't spoil it to everyone, but... just look it up on the mass effect wiki. Anyone else fall over laughing while reading it?

Still, a great piece of work overall, but overpriced, definitely. I'm having a hard time believing LotSB cost 1/6th ME2's budget to create, so the price really needs to fall back in line with what is essentially 2 missions (and the main game has over 30).

I'd agree with that.  A magnificent dlc from Bioware.  However I got quite a bit more gameplay from the Overlorad dlc which was also of a similar high quality. I paid 560msp's for that against 800msp's for this. I can see Bioware have put a lot of effort into this one, but as the product I purchase, a tad overpriced.  Although it (sort of) answered my Shadow Broker questions, the dlc was much more about Liara.  As Liara was never really that important to my main Shepard, this was no more 'must have' than Overlord. So should have been 560msp as well IMO.  That aside, hope they deal with Ashley Williams/Kaidan Alenko issue in a similar way?   However, at the end of the day, a minor point. Awesome.

Well, LotSB takes about 2.5 hours the first time, if you aren't purposefully trying to rush it.

ME2 takes 30 hours without rushing it too much.

So LotSB is 1/12 of the time, but 1/6 of the price. That means it's 2 times the price per hour of the main game, which isn't bad for DLC.

Brilliant, brilliant, brilliant and brilliant - worth every penny.

It is clear that the Mass Effect is in the hands of Bioware's "A+" team of developers (and that Dragon Age is not)!!

Looking forward to the next one...

Oh - did I mention? LotSB is Brilliant!

Extremely well done! I've learned that Bioware isn't always Bioware. LotSB was incredible; Witch Hunt was incredibly poor. Great job Mass Effect Team! Can you give your Bretheren on the DA side some pointers?

thanks again Bioware for a wonderful experience! I've always preferred fantasy RPGs (played alot of your earlier work, Baldurs, etc) and thought I would have preferred Dragon Age but it's Mass Effect all the way! Can't wait for the next installment...:)

Hmm, it seems that Shepard is now the only Spectre still active after 3 known operatives Nihlus Kryik, Saren Arterius and Tela Vasir were killed in action (KIA). Unless future DLCs will include a chance to meet a salarian Spectre.

Anyone else notice things going quieter spending time on the SB's base after the DLC? Liara seems to suddenly speak quieter for some reason, and it can spread. I just did the final part of Firewalker, where you have to take down the shield, with sound levels seeming a little... off. Using a computer can seem to fix it.

I'm most disappointed. At first they remove English from Central Europe version of the game and then the most interesting DLC of all will NOT be available for us. Did anyone had any damn thought about distribution in Central Europe? ME2 is 18+ game and most of the people in here are used to play games in English. We don't need botched up czech/polish/hungarian version (Czech version is just horrible ... google translate could do it better!!!). Most of us need just damn subtitles for spoken word and everything else is fine.

If Central Europe market is too small to bother with edited DLC then do NOT make separate version of the game for it!!!

true, so  that make me to think two version, find an illegal version or W8 for a miracle. And yes you sholud take ur money back coz cz version is baaad, not correct and unprofesionnal. its shame for ea that they forgot about ce europe players, there are lot of player here too. and i ask them this question on support, ummm 50 hours no respon lol fail.

im from hungary and couldnt agree more. translation is terrible, and whats even worse, different people translated ME1 and ME2 and they translated often used keywords different. its very annoying. Most of us downloaded english files, wich is of course officially not supported by Bioware.

They exclude english files from the disc, wich is a big decision with possible consequences. The consequence should be  to support that language later, but no, first they made a terrible decision, following with an another.
We have to dig into registry then dlc plays and installs like a dream, so that technical problem excuse was just a lie and pure bull****.  A simple warning would be enough, let us players decide if we want to install a full english dlc or not...

Every single country has the english version included, except us, and im just wondering why. Why we dont deserve what everybody else gets without any question... Yeah, we can download ME2 via EA download manager, but then, we have to download 10gigabyte becouse a 10megabyte file was not included in our DVD????? The very least BW could do to make us a standalone download for the english language files officially, and let us play their english DLC. But I know BW doesnt care about this region, so then why should we care about BW.

Whats even more funny, console users only get the english language, they
dont get the tranlsated hungarian language what us pc users have, thats
really pathetic :D

After that attitude towards us i think i will just not buy ME3.

This is stated in one of the dialogs, the Yagh killed the Shadow Broker 60 years before Shepard killed him.

yes liara said that maybe that yagh killed shadow broker 60 years ago.but i dont think that shadow broker would be as foolish as this to bring a wild creature to his ship and then let this yagh kill him. he knew that this creature is so dangerous so he thought about how to control it. i think the original one escaped and you fought his pet!

and my question is why we can`t read illusive man mails?shadow broker was not able to read them? or maybe shadow broker and cebrus are both two good friends?

oh, cmon! Like everybody here bought the game!?!? First you download it for free.. play 4 to 10 times over and over again... then you fall in love with the game and the company that made it... and then you go to the store and buy the game! You don't even open it and put it on the shelf! Ah... brings up happy memories...

Are you serious ?
Coming in here and admitting that you are playing a pirated copy of a game in the forum dedicated to it, is going to get you smacked with a banhammer.

I don't think that there is no work available in Croatia, so get a job and buy the game, almost everyone here had to as well.

Can you believe the nerve of that guy ?

You obviously never been to Croatia! I dare to say you don't know where Croatia even is! (no hard feelings, I'm just honest)

Incredible DLC. Fantastic adventure, Snappy dialogue and an excellent narrative. Great work Bioware.

***SPOILER***

Best part for me: The speech by the asarian spectre before she dies... Excellent writing, and the reflective pause by Shepard following her last words...Sublime storytelling.

From reading the earlier entries in this post, luckily I did forget to by a per-paid card to get this DLC. Thats how I get things from the internet. It has a limit in date and how much is in it. A throw away card when done. I will be very annoy that I wasted 1.5 gb of download on a shoddy installer.

Looks like from the later post this is a very good DLC. If I miss something was there any conformation that BioWare fixed the installer up?

I don't know you relies this or no you only pay for it once but cannot do anything about the download.
