Lair of the shadow broker is a must play dlc, its short but far better than any other dlc avaible.

play the game get all DLC play again and again. get more DLC when it comes out:pinched:

I have a question. I played LOtSB after I finished the WHOLE game. And I mean WHOLE (I even mined every single planet dry). Now it seams I can't get the upgrades for my weapons from the SB's terminal. In the mass effect wiki it says that a new shipment is available after a mission or a period of time. Given that I can't do any more missions, how long must I wait for a new upgrade??

Oh but i know ( Oh ja wiem  ), i bought it only becouse of availability on my fav game store, and it just happened to be polish ( where it was supposed to be Eng+Pol ). I tried gameplay in polish ONCE, but... no, man... just no.
Then i stared searching for the way to make ME2 english ( becouse i love to play in original [ ENG ] language and have no problem of understanding it, fair to say I'm pretty good in it. ) and so i changed it, end of story

Big Thanks for silverhammer08 for giving me this idea, i might eventually do it, but currently I'm after Big Playthrough ( full Me1 + Me2 walkhthrough one after another ) so I'll give it time

Anyway I downloaded and installed DLC yesterday and it runs perfectly fine - no errors.
I don't know about the store version of ME2 available in Poland but this one I got from EA store have NO Polish option ... or I could not find it... did not even try it


But seriously if there are localization problems - what could comes straightly from low number of players interested in buying them - BioWare should just wrote:

"DLC is compatible with English, German, etc versions, if you have localized version but installed the game in English the DLC is combatible and you can run it."

Not just wrote infos which are messed in the meaning.

About the Shadowbroker - yes, deffo this one DLC could be called "A must have", hopefully a few more show up in the future, or ME3 itself

The problem with our crappy version in Polish is, they gave us NO choice to play the game in English(Other than editing files of course.). And here I am, writing in  English:P

Bioware should have stated that "The DLC is not compatible with localized versions of Mass Effect in Poland, Czech Republic.(etc) However, you can install it on the English version available here(link to ea download manager)." Not a message saying that there are serious tech. problems, when in fact there aren't(other than no subtitles for the DLC). Blocking the ability to buy it is certainly not the right thing to do as well. What's more, they should have given us the choice of language - especially when the game is 18+, I bet not many people would really say "Hey! That's not fair! I want the game in Polish!".

I, for sure, woudn't be able to play Mass Effect 2 in Polish - The quality of the voice acting is just $&%#.. I support the "Poland should be banned to make polish versions of any game. Bioware please consider it.". Im tired of another Gothic 2's voice acting clone.

Running XP.  Seemed to download ok.  Works fine until I get to the hovercraft chase.  I get sound but no picture other than misty white changing to black.  I hear the comments from Liara about turning right no left - but can't see a thing.  Downloaded twice to see if I got a bad download.  2nd try same as first.  Changed the video systems settings to minimum values to see if that would help.  No change.  Anybody else seeing this?

Yeah, this happened on my first play through. The game locked up on me so I had to do a reboot. Funny thing is, after that, the error never happened again, I was able to see the picture. I've got a nViDiA GTX460 with latest drivers 258.96

You should check the technical forums to see if there is a fix for it.

Try shutting off  blur and you "should" make it through the sequence.

If you did EVERYTHING, what's the point of having weapon upgrades?

awesome dlc, it is disappointing though that now all liara will say is "thanks for coming by". i'm quite curious about how she's going to run her new empire.

I cannot stress my disappointment enough for that the mew content is not available in Hungary.
I hoped to enjoy the full mass effect experience, but it will not be available no matter what.
I'm sad, really.
What could be such a technical problem that can get in the way of acquiring a DLC?:crying:
