[Sematary]

 I am having a slight problem with importing a character from Mass Effect 1. The problem is nothing is showing up in the importation screen. I have both Mass Effect 1 and 2 and they are both installed. I can access my saved games in Mass Effect 1 but no importing. The only thing I can think of is I used Gamer's Gate to download Mass Effect 1 while buying a hard copy of Mass Effect 2. Any help on this issue would be much appreciated.

You do need to manually transfer over saves. (There's a tool to help you do this in ME2's Config utility.) Does that help?
