Not too bothered about problems on the launch day, I played WOW long enough to get immune, but I gotta say - not bothering to check compatibility with 64-bit systems altogether is hilariously bad :P

You will. Currently the entire file is nothing but 0s if you open it and look at it through a Hex Editor.

Saddened that this has occured. Hope a new file is available later today along with an apology from Bioware for this frankly shoddy delivery of this highly anticpated DLC.

Hm. maybe i should have done the "Cartman waiting on the Wii" thing and frozen myself. maybe if i was frozen in ice for a few hundred years i would thaw out in a time when the installer would work on the Computers of the future......

He's not saying a computer that's not man made can play it he's saying it can't be played on one that is made by humans/machines from the planet Earth in the Sol System in the year 2010.

I double click the .exe, and it doesn't launch at all. A black command window pops up for a split second then it disappears from memory. Damn it I was sooo looking forward to playing this before having to leave later!

:(

The first clue is if the DLC doesn't have the familiar ME2 icon on the executable. As others have said, you may click on it, a black command prompt flashes up for a split second and then... nowt.

Anyone ever have a professor who wanted you to email them your term paper before midnight, but you didn't finish it. So instead you send an mp3 file that you changed the extension to a .doc so when it opens it's a bunch of gibberish and then apologize the next morning and say "Here's the correctly exported file"?

This feels a lot like that.
