Wonder if they ever though about taking the bad one down so everyone would quit downloading it and know when the good one is up? Is this a difficult thing to do?

I do think they will just replace the file that we downloaded so we wont have to pay again and stuff like that... and maybe thats why they didn't remove the current file that doesn't work... mmmm

No, it will still show in your queue. Bioware/EA should jsut re-upload the file and also to those in their queues where it was already purchased.

Some people are WAY too accepting.....i.e. "sh*t happens" and all.  The person who fudged this up should be on the unemployment line RIGHT FRACKING NOW!!  People paid good money for this.....and isn't it funny how the console kiddies got their working copy first, while PC users get to wait longer, AND get hosed.  Thanks Bioware!!!  This will be the LAST DLC I will be paying for ....... pirate if I must, but this was the LAST STRAW......where's the middle finger emoticon on this thing......

It's obviously the case that the PC file they've uploaded, for whatever reason (XBOX Version, corrupt file etc.), is, regardless of what Windows OS you are running, useless .  As such, all PC ME2 Users are in the same boat.
My big concern is that, as Chris has said, they "hope to have "information" "soon". 
Hope = Not promising anything
Information = Not necessarily a fix or a working version of the file

Maybe we can control ourselves. Maybe we have other things to keep us occupied until it's fixed. Maybe we don't have anger issues. Maybe we are more mature. Maybe we have patience.

Any DLC you have ever bought can be re-downloaded as many times as you want. Just click Profile -> Your Registered Game Promotions and you'll see all the download links to anything you already own, including LotSB. I don't even understand why you think they'd try to make people pay again.

Im not the type to start flaming BW over a mistake, we all make them but they have no end to problems with DLC and its starting to get very frustrating.



Anyhow please fix this problem as quick as possible to help alleviate my buyers remorse.

Oh no the download isn't working properly... Worse, I used some of my bandwidth cap! Well, in the mean time I'm going to go some of the things I need to do while I wait. You know, rather than act like a spoiled princess who hasn't gotten her way, right away.

I have to agree with Demigod. It's a waste of bandwidth, on both Bioware's end and our end. PC gamers screwed over yet again in the gaming world.



I woke up at 6:50 AM today and went back to sleep. At least I didn't stay up until 10:00 to get this highly anticipated and completely broken DLC.

How can Bioware f*ck this up so bad? First we have to wait a few hours after the happy console noobs got the dlc and second, the file doesn't work.... Great.
